"Heh, music's another thing I'm not so grand at. Never really thought about reporting, I've talked with a fair few and they're usually pretty nice." He was going to avoid mentioning that a fair few of those reporters were during wars that he had fought in, and that it was usually following a high body count or important victory/defeat. "Classic music though, always been my favorite. That and sometimes local musics when you're traveling. Which instrument do you play?"

Icey nodded. She liked talking to others alot.She about as nice as a creature could get.At least she tried to be for the most part.She however love music with a passion.She found that it was one of of the most relaxing things that she could do. She smiled again as she answered the dragons question. '' Well I play the flute mostly. I can play the trumpet a little though .I find that music is very relaxing once one gets the hang of it.'' She said with a smile.

"Oh, I'm sure it is. I can barely muddle through a song or two on a guitar but they took me a long time to learn. Really more of a music listener than player. Still just as relaxing to hear those soft melodies. So flute huh? One of those official band flutes, or a different style? I've made a few, was never sure if they played well but promised to the buyers if there was a problem I'd fix it or replace it. Never got a complaint so guess either they were never played or worked just fine." Kind of silly really, if he was able to make instruments but he couldn't play anything on them.

Icey did not really think that it was silly that the dragon could not play. There was alot of people who made thing but could not use them that well. On that note she was kind of surprised that he had made instuments. That took a great deal of skill to do from what she had read about it.''Well I am not quiet sure. My father had it made for me but he never would tell me what kind it was.'' she said . Her father was the kind who kept secrets form others. It never bothered Icey that much though.The fact that he never told her the full story of why her older sister was in prison was one thing that did kind of bother her. ''Well you must have made them well other wise the would have said something right?'' she said with a smile. She tried to force the thought from her mind now. She did not really want to think about that now.

"That's what I'm hoping anyway. Heh, still, making those is simple compared to trying to make a huge bell. Would be an interesting challenge, have to admit that. Not just making it but getting it up here and put in too. Might have to recruit an actual dragon, heh." That would be quite a sight, having a non-anthro dragon on school grounds helping to put in a new bell if this one ever broke. The gardener would likely throw a fit considering some of the best flower beds were below this place though.

The wind had started to pick up slightly . It made a light breeze that blew threw the tower.Good thing that it was not all that cold yet.Icey thought for a few seconds. It would be a challange to get something like that up here. She would think that it would be very heavey to try to hold while it was getting put in the tower. Icey had never seen a real dragon before. She could imagine that they would be kind of big compared to other dragons.''That would be kind of hard to do. I did not know that there was actual dragons around here. Hmmm you know I think that they would be kind of scary to most.'' She said with a slight smile. She would not want to be near one herself. She had heard that they were not the best thing to try to talk to. Then again that was just hear say afterall.

"I've run across quite a few in my time. Once in a while you could meet a less friendly one, kind of depends on the area you're in. Most of the ones I've dealt with were good enough. Not sure about the ones in this area right now though, or if there are even any. I'd be sure the dragon could be trusted around students before ever letting it near here, you can count on that. Guess that doesn't mean they wouldn't be scary though." Thankfully he didn't need to worry about any of that for the bell. If anything ever happened to it there'd be problems but for now it was fine, and the open access letting in the slightly chilly breeze was refreshing.

Icey could not really imagine finding a true dragon. She was surprised that they could be friendly. She was glad that the bell was fine for now though. She hoped that it would be that way for a long time. The only non anthro thing that Icey had see her self was a lion. She was lucky enough to be a good distance from him. That was still kind of scary for her to see though.''Really. I would think that they would be myself. It sounds like that you seem to get around .'' She said with a smile. She had never been one to go that far out of her zone of comfort.She mostly kept to playing music and doing her school work. Though once in a while she did go exloreing.

"I used to do a lot of traveling before I wound up here. Did lots of work in different countries, had a bit of a military tour for a while, worked on statues and furniture for the pharohs and for the old castles of Europe. I've been to a lot of places... this one's probably the first I can call home since I set out on all those travels. Only wound up here because I heard my brother was the headmaster. It's nice to be able to work for family for a change instead of upper class nobles and wealthy snobs." Just didn't pay as well. Not that he cared, he was still able to do some work but it was all smaller stuff now. Figurines and ornaments instead of twenty foot tall or life sized statues.

Icey was kinda surprised at what the dragon had said.She thought that he must have been kind of old. She did not say anything though.She did not want to offend him or anything. Icey was just not that kind of creature. She thought that it must have been interesting to meet those kind of people though. She could not imagine that herself .''Wow . That must have been interesting for you. I would think that it would be a good thing.'' She said with a smile. Her family never had to work. They were very rich and had no reson to do so.She was not a snob though unlike other rich people would be.

"Oh it was nice, kind of wore me out though. Enough time visiting different places all over the world and you'll be exhausted no matter what. Once in a while you've got to take a break. In my case, those breaks were staying in Egypt for a while, and in Japan. And now here, but I don't plan on leaving here any time soon." Blake stood and walked to one of the ledges, leaning out and stretching his wings to feel a nice stronger breeze. Cold air always felt so refreshing to him, he wasn't sure why.

Icey could see how it would make one tired after a while. She would get tired herself though she did not do much herself. She was one who always loved to travle to new places as long as they were safe to travle. ''I see. It seems to be kind of nice around here though. Kind of uhh ... quiet compared to most big city places. '' She said seeming have to think of the right word to use.She did not want to say that it was boreing because that would have seemed rude. She watched the dragon walk out on the ledge as anouther strong breeze came threw. Icey certainly did not like the cold at all. she was not used to it at all.

"It's normally quiet, but just like anywhere else there's always a chance of it getting a bit more exciting. Not normally around this time of year though, anything interesting always seems to come about in the spring or summer. Sometimes it spells trouble for us, sometimes it's just something new and different." Blake stepped back a bit when the breeze died down again, smiling. "Getting a little chilly up here, but still a great view."

Icey kind of hoped that it would not get that cold up here. She would not really want to stay here and freeze. Or get sick for that matter. She did not like doctors at all. She watched the dragon step back from the leadge. ''Well that seems to happen in any place that one goes to. Some places just have it happing more often. Humm it is getting a little cool up here. I think the view is pretty still as well.'' Icey said. She stood and walked one of the windows. She did still enjoy the small things in life.

Blake smiled, pulling a little dish out of his pocket and breathing a jet of flame into it. "If it's too chilly you can hold on to this, should be warm without burning your hands. Made a few of these and always hang on to one, better than those electric hand warmer things." As he passed the dish to her the flame on its surface flickered out, leaving the dish nice and toasty. The dragon could always use a hotter flame if he had to, but generally it was best to keep things simple to avoid burns.
