"I know he's probably listening in and throwing insults constantly right about now, but if your other side wants to give me problems he should wait until your hand's all better. If he comes at me with anything less than one hundred percent it's both insulting to me and to him really. Not that I want him to be picking fights, but figure you deserve at least a chance to have a walk in peace right?" Aubri was keeping pace just fine so far, and he hadn't even needed many sips from his drink. He was trying to figure out ways to have a good time with Pension and not have the constant threat of Pen coming out to ruin it.

Pension listied to the boy. Sadly there really was no way to avoid pen and his constant insults. He did care if he got himself or other in trouble. And all aubris comment did was make pen mad.” how dare he insult my jugdement. Humph I do not need to be a hunred precent to defeat such an unworthy oppent. “ pen said to him now. Pension just tried to ignore his other side. He knew that there was not any way to talk since in to pen. “ hum you are right about that. You see he dose not think about things like that. Lucky for you though he dose not wish to attack just yet. Heh I guess when I get back to my dorm to night I am gonna have to find my brace again. “ he said. He now took a turn down another part of the hall. To tell the truth he was not certain where they were. But that did not bother him much. He figured if they did happen to get totally lost that they would eventually find a way out.

"Yeah... kinda figured. Still it's a nice walk so far. Halls are pretty quiet, nothing really exciting but nothing bad either." A brace huh? Aubri figured Pen had probably got them into a few problems before and Pension was smart enough to keep it knowing something would happen again in the future. He remembered something about the lower levels of the school, something about them being a bad place to go wandering about. Multiple reasons for that, but thankfully from what he could tell they were nowhere near the "dungeon" of the school. It probably made a great way to give out detentions a long time ago when something like that wasn't considered so terrible.

Pension smiled at the boy response. He too was enjoying the walk so far . He did glance at his watch now to make sure that it was not getting to late. . Not that it really mattered to him. He just figured that the boy would have other things to do latter. Indeed his other half was notorieties for causing him trouble. Since his dark half reacted the way he did to most who came near him pension did his best to fix any wounds that he got. Over the years he had gotten better at it as well. Really though pen did not seem to learn much from his mistakes as of yet. “ yeah it has been a nice walk. I guess everyone is either in class or doing something with their friends.” he said. That was a good thing though. It made it harder for his other side to cause trouble. Pension to had heard some rumors about the lower part of the school. It was just that pension did not believe everything that he heard. He was the kind who wanted to find things out for himself. Though he was smart enough to stay away from danger as he did so. Indeed though staying in a cold dark dungeon as a punishment would work for most. Though his dark half would probably enjoy being in such a place. His dark half tended to like things that most would avoid at all costs. Maybe that was why he got into so much trouble.

"Heh, well so are we. We're doing something with a friend, even if that something might look like nothing to others." And others might not understand why Aubri wanted to hang out with Pension, but he was a nice guy. Even with the dark side that posed a near constant threat the gryphon liked him. Pen's actions weren't his fault anyway, he just had to clean up his darker side's messes. That he was able to do so was actually impressive to Aubri, most would panic or freak out but he seemed so used to it. Maybe it had become routine for him, or maybe he was just strong enough to deal with whatever his other half did. "Shall we stay in the school or wander outside?"

Pension smiled in response to what the griffin. Pension himself was not sure why griffin would want to hang out with him. Over the years he had gotten used to his other half causing him trouble. That is what happened when you lived with some one like pen . To tell the truth though he liked to hang out with the griffin so far. He seemed nice enough at least at first glance. “ yeah I did not think about that.” he said with a smile. He did not know that the griffin already considered him his friend. But he did not mind. After all he could use all of the friends that he could get. He took another turn down the hall and gave a smile at the boys question. “ hum well witch ever you want to do is cool with me.” pension said with a smile. The good news was that his other side seemed to be content with being quiet for the time being.

"Hmm, I think outside might be better. Has more possibilities and fewer crowds that might come rushing out of classes." And that meant a lot fewer people for Pen to have to deal with and potentially get mad at. Just one gryphon, made it a much safer choice. And there were bound to be cool things to see outside, maybe check through the nearby sections of the woods for anything cool, like a little wild flower bed or orchard. He never had a reason to pay attention to little details like that before, not around the school anyway. If he was out hunting sure, or looking for his friend Dracul.

Pension liked the idea of going outside himself. They would just have to be sure to keep an eye on the time so that they would not have to walk back in the dark. Not that it would matter to pension. Yeah it would be better to keep pen away from the other students for now. Even now when a small group passed them in the hall he could feel pen stir slightly. And those were females so he would act worse around males. “ yeah I would like to go out as well. Pen would not be happy to be surrounded by a whole bunch of peoples.” he said with a smile now. Though they should be careful how far out in the woods they went for there were some bad creature said to be living in those woods.

"Heh, then I guess we have a sort of direction for the wandering now. Long as it isn't into anything's den or too deep into the woods." They had their own monster right here in Pen after all, who needed to go looking for another? Not that Aubri thought Pension was a monster or anything, just his dark side definitely didn't fit into the "socially gifted" sort of category. Pension himself was wonderful though. Time wouldn't be an issue for Aubri today, but it was still too early to be thinking about walking at night. That was hours away and if he was still moving in a few hours that alone would be impressive to him.

Pension could agree with what the boy was saying. He did not want to go out and get in to any trouble. Epically considering that pen would like to cause trouble in anyway possible right now. ”so we are going out now are we?” snorted his other half as they headed to go out. “yeah we is.” he stated back to him. His other half seemed content with that idea for now. Pension figured that he was just trying to plot against the boy or something. “ yeah we do have direction. I hope that we stay out of everyone’s homes out there.” said to the boy with a smile now. Indeed pen was a monster in most others eyes . But to pension he was just a factor that made his life that much harder. The peafowl always wondered about thing when he was in any situation. that was because he was used to worring about pen constanly.

"I don't think that'll be a problem unless we wander our way into town pretty quick. But yeah, best if we can stay out of the populated areas for a while. Does he ever sleep or just when you sleep?" He thought it was a fair question, wanting to know if there were ever times that Pension got to be "free" of Pen for a little while. Maybe when Pen was tired of getting into trouble or when he knew Pension had to clean up a mess he made. Or maybe he was awake whenever Pension was, maybe even when he was asleep. Though that would make it rather difficult for one or the other he'd imagine.

Pension smiled slightly. He knew that the boy did not quiet understand his statement. He was referring to the animals homes in the woods. but he did not choose to say anything about it though. Everyone made mistakes he knew that. “ yeah hopefully we will not wonder that far today. Well to tell you the truth he pretty well sleeps when I do. But he tends to wake me up wanting to do something no matter what time it is.” he said giving the subject some thought before answering. To tell the truth he was never truly free of his other half. But there were times when his other side let up and seemed to relax. But that was usually when they were doing something that he wanted to do. Good news was for now his other side was being quiet. Pension though was reaming already for any sign that his other side was going to try to do something that would not benefit either him or the boy.

"That's interesting to know. And kind of makes ya think a little. Glad he's not pressing for anything right now though." And it would be a nice pleasant walk outside, with no problems he hoped. Just nice scenery and the only real goal being to get back here before dark. Maybe if Pen felt like acting up he'd do it where there was nobody else around... come to think of it that might not be so good for the gryphon but it was a risk he was willing to take. Better than Pen freaking out on a whole group of people right? Besides, he was kind of hoping that if there really were any pressing danger Pension would be able to step in and hold his other half back.

Pension contained to walk towards the woods. He had never really been out in the woods. He mostly stayed around the school. The thought had crossed his mind that he would be better off staying away from others due to his other side. But then again he did not wish to be alone his whole life. “ yeah he gotten quiet again. I guess he is either plotting or tired. “ pension stated as he continued to walk. Indeed it was a good day for a walk. If he could help it he would try to keep his other half at bay. But that was not an easy task for him to do. But if his other half were to try to hurt the boy to bad he would try to stop him. He tried to think positively though for now. His other half was being clam so that was a good thing for now. To tell the truth his other half was not one to attack large groups. There were just to many for him to fight that way. He only tended to attack one at a time. That was why he rarely came out when he was in class. He may have been a monster but he defiantly was not stupid by no means. That fact alone could be scary when one considers that not all of his thoughts are known by pension and vise versa.

"Hopefully just tired." Aubri laughed softly, smiling. It felt good to have natural earth under his paws again, better than the cold stone of the castle. Not that the stone was bad, and it was a perfect comfort after a long day, but he didn't want to be stuck in there all day every day. That was part of what had him going crazy at the old monastery he was at. "So you think we'll run into anything interesting out here today? Or maybe it'll just be a quiet walk with nothing special, no great views or problems coming up?"
