Icey smiled to the dragon.She liked to keep busey herself.She just did not do much that could be called interesting.She did school,music.walikng,and sometimes talked to other students .But at least she did do more then most who were her age did. She smiled.she did not really read all that much.it Often gave her a headacke.''Humm that sounds like it could be fun. Humm good news is you will not have to worry about me ever skipping class.'' She said with a slight smile. He might have to weorry about her wondering off though when she felt that she wanted to explore or something like that.

"Heh, good to know. That's one of the worst things I have to deal with now and then. Someone I like or consider a friend doing something wrong. I know what I have to do, and I know what they want me to do, and it's a terrible strain to try and hold to what has to be done. Not that it happens often but when it does it's painful. When you consider someone a friend you don't want to think they'd do something you're morally against."

Icey knew that it could be hard to do something that might hurt someone that is close to you. She had to do that when she had come here. She had many friends where she had come from. She did send them letters but it was just not the same as seeing them . She pushed that thought from her mind not wanting to think about that now.''I know how that feels. I have left a few of my friends when I came here.'' She said with a smile. She did not ever have to deal with them doing anything that she would not do anyway. If they wanted to do that then she simply did go with them.

"It's always hard, isn't it? But you know they're still friends, even if you don't get to see them all the time. Besides, you get to make new friends here. Tons of people around, bound to be at least a few that are nice and you can talk to right?" Blake had to take a while to get accepted here. He had a bit of a shaky past as far as some of them were concerned though. Still, he was here now and widely accepted as a nice guy.

Icey smiled to the dragon.She had not really met anyone here.The students here were not the kind of creatures that she was used to hanging out with. She was not against them for that. It would just take her a while to get use to how they acted. She was not a very out going creature. Where most her age drank and had boyfriends or girlfriends she did not.Icey was actually afraid of that kind of thing. The thought that she could get in trouble or worse for doing such things made her more then wary of them. ''Yes it is. I do miss them a lot. Yeah I hope that I can make a couple of friends while I am here.'' she said with a smile.She did not want the dragon to think that she was just another rich snob. That was not the case. If he wanted to see a rich snob then he should talk to her father. Icey deiced to push that thought away. After all she did not want to acidently say it or something.

In a way it was kind of ironic. She was rich, though she didn't want to show any signs of it. Blake was semi-rich and always tried to show signs and distribute what he could. Gemstone statues and figurines weren't cheap, he could be selling them for thousands at the least, and often enough he'd just give them away to friends or to a charity or something. If anything he was eventually going to end up poor but act like he was still rich, just because of the work he did. "I'm sure you will. And when you do, heh, you'll probably have a nice little figurine for a conversation starter."

A cold breeze gusted threw the gardens carring small sticks and leaves with it. Icey shut her eyes so that she would not get dirt in them. She had learned to do that since she was just a small kid. She now opened her eyes and smiled slightly. Icey was not the kind who showed that she had money.That was for several reasons. She did not want others to shy away from her of try to harm her for that fact. She had alot of fears when it came to that sort of thing.It did not really help that her parents did the same thing only they were snoby about it. However if she knew that there was some person who needed some money she would more then gladly give it to them.'' That is right. Who knows maby it may get you a couple more who are intreasted in what you do.'' She said with a smile.

"I hope so really. It's not often you can find someone who's interested in sculpting and is actually good at it. Slowly becoming a bit of a lost art. I'm trying to start up little classes here to boost interest and see if I can find a decent apprentice too. So far, I've only got one who's decent. Oh well, I'm sure I can find more if I give it time." And if not he could always look elsewhere, send out invitations. There had to be some spectacular sculptors out there still, there just had to be.

Icey smiled at the dragon.Maby he would be able to find a few craeture who wanted to learn the art.Icey just simply did not have intrest in it.Sure it might have been fun if she was to try it but it still looked like a lot of work though. ''Well I am sure with as many students that come Here that you are bound to find someone who is good at sculpting. Maby when you start a class you may find that there are more then you think here.'' She said with a smile. The world was just too big for there not to be a few who still did things like that anymore.

Blake smiled. "Yeah, probably right. And it's not like I'm going anywhere so I'll have several years to find someone who's good at it. Have you ever considered any art aside from music? Even just in passing?" Blake could teach almost any kind of art after all. Just a matter of how well he could do. Sketches were one of his weaker points but they still turned out pretty decent. Paintings and sculpture were his best, pottery was difficult sometimes but he was getting better.

Icey gave a smile as she thought about what the dragon said.She had concidered taking on anouther art but she did not really know wich one. If she was to pick one though it would be painting. She found that it fun to watch other do that but she was really not all that good at it. '' Well I have thought about taking on anoutherart but i would even know wher to begin . If I were to pick one painting would be it though.'' Icey said with a smile. She did not know much about this dragon but so far he seemed to be pretty nice.

"Painting huh? Pretty good choice if you ever really feel like finding a new form of art to go with. It can be a little tricky at times, but it's not as bad as it used to be. If you want a specific color anymore you can buy it, when I started you still had to mix up your own colors from the basic ones and work from there. Heh, just for fun I even learned how to make my own paint. Guess I've always been an artist at heart." And he had been doing these things for a long time. Hopefully an even longer time was still ahead of him though.

Icey smiled as she pulled her gloves back over her hands to keep them from sliding off her hands.She did not want her clasw to show after all. Icey had always been around the arts ever since she was young.Her parent would take her to shows and musems of all sorts.She just leaned more towards music for the simple fact that she did not get board with it like she did with all the others. She suposed that if she were to get good at doing some other art then she might not get so board with it. She would have to just try and see on that though.''That is true. Really no offence but you must have started a long while ago then.'' Icey said with a smile. She was not trying to offend the dragon but it did intrest her a little bit.

"Heh, about fifty years of practice. A little more or less depending on which art form. I might not look like it but I'm actually just a little over eighty years old. Heh, if I weren't a dragon I'd probably be in a rocker somewhere complaining about the good old days and such. Guess I'm lucky to have plenty of time to do what I want." And plenty of time left to teach others too.

Icey did not think that the dragon looked all that old.Then again she also knew that they aged much slower then most other creatures did.that could be a good thing though.you would not have to worry about something that could take years to compleate. Most others would have to worry about such things. Icey did not do much thinkng about her future though. She figured what ever whanted to happen would happed and that there nothing that she would be able to do about it anyway.''Thats right from what I have heard you dragons can live for a very long time.'' she said. It was kind of funny to picture the black dragon in a rocker though.
