Scarlet was feeling kind of bored as she stood around in the restaurant's entrance area. It was slow right now, halfway between the breakfast and lunch crowds and nothing to do really. She just stood at her little podium daydreaming of some of the interesting people that came here. Miss Bella, she was nice and she was fun to work with in the kitchen. And then there was that nice rat fellow, he was probably her favorite customer right now and she wished she'd see him more often. Maybe one of them would come in today, she needed something to do and someone to talk to. Scarlet was so busy daydreaming she hardly noticed the door opening and someone entering the restaurant.

Bella walked in after another day at the school she did not really have that much to do but she could always go to work and learn some skills. She gently open the door. Not that much to see in the restaurant. Maybe it was still early. She looked around to see if she could see the rat no he was not around here right now so she starts to think that it was safe to walk in right now. She took some steps and saw the cute little scarlet and walk gently over to her and took her tail and gently tickle her in the neck to surprise her. She look like she did not have that much to do right now.

Scarlet practically jumped at the sudden tickling, purring and giving Bella a big hug. "MISS BELLA! Hehe, hi, good to see you here. I was starting to get bored. So what are you doing here today? Cooking or early lunch?" The little hybrid girl was grinning, practically dancing at her station now that she had someone fun to talk to. Maybe miss Bella would even teach her a thing or two in the kitchen today? Or for a change she could teach her something?

Well I was thinking maybe work a little bit but if you really want to try out something you make I can always take a early lunch. And I am really happy to see you. What have you done today?* She ask hugging her and lifting her up so she could have eye contact. She smiled at her and give her a little lick on her chin. She was so cute. If all kids was as cute as Scarlet she could not wait to have her own kids. but she was still really young so maybe she should wait till a norther day to think about babies. She take a look around the restaurant did not look like she could see the Mafia rat so she could take a sit down in the restaurant if scarlet wanted to make something

"Hehe, well I been here serving everyone that comes in and it's been a pretty normal day. Nothing exciting until you came in, hehe. I wanna make something for you but I dunno what, I'm good at sandwiches but not a lotta fancy cooking." Actually she was pretty good if she knew what she was supposed to make. Tell her something like a cake or a chicken salad or anything simple she'd be able to make it. She liked being able to keep busy, and she also liked it when Bella picked her up so she could talk to her better.

Well how about some pancakes I could really eat a lot of them right now. And I am here if you need any help to make them. And I know a great one where it have a lot of fruit in it. Would you like to try that out. I can also help you whit the other costumers * She smiled and bumb gently her nose into her and make a little boob sound and smiled at her. She was a little charming one that no one could say no to if she ask for something.

"Ooooo, pancakes, hehe, they're so fun to make. And so tasty too, hehe, okay, I getcha a biiiiiiiiig stack of pancakes an' if you want to make some with me you can." Even if it might ruin half the fun of making them. Scarlet loved mixing the batter and having some of it splash out of the mixing bowl on her fur. Getting sticky and messy was always fun to little kids, the cleaning up that came after it not so much. "Lesse... berry cakes, extra sugary pancakes, hmm, ooo, chocolate chip pancakes, pancakes in funny shapes, better get cooking at this rate hehe."

Bella run over and find a big bowl to put all the stuff down into. *Well what shall we do to make the pancakes. If you find that I try to find some frees things to put on top of them. is that okay?* She smiled at her and scartes her behind the ears and let her purr for her. * hmmm let see if I was a glass of jam where would I go hiding.* she go into a room whit a lot of things. She did first find some fruit to put on top of it. And she also run over and find a big glass of jam

Scarlet purred and got the biggest mixing bowl she could find, set it out on the counter, then started getting all of the basic materials she needed for making good fresh pancakes. Her mom didn't believe in just pouring something out of a box or can or anything and having that get served, it all had to be freshly made. Sure a whole ton of ingredients were around the place and being kept properly but no "instant potatoes" or "pancake mix" were available. Not unless she was sick or something and just made all the ingredients herself the previous day. So Scarlet had to rummage around and find what they needed, giggling and watching miss Bella when she had what she needed. "Hehe, you in quite a jam miss Bella, it likes to hide from me or I'd eat it all up every day."

*Well I think it is good if your mother keep it on a place you can't get it. Or ells you will get a little bit fat. Don't you think? It will be a shame for it because you can't fly around whit your friends if you was too heavy.* She smiled and gently tickles her tummy. And giggles a little bit. Wow that was a big bowl if she did not know it was it could look like a basket for scarlet. She help her find the last things to put in. * so now I think we are ready to start don't you think?* She smiled at her she did definitely have the cutest head. Well all of Crimsons kids was cute and kind

Scarlet's ears perked up and she grinned, jumping up and down happily. "Yay, hehe. I dunno I can burn off a LOT of calories running around all day silly, hehe. Okay, let's start mixing and making the most yummyest pancakes Ever!" The little hybrid started mixing their ingredients together and trying at first not to splash anything on Bella or herself, but it was so much fun and she loved to bounce around sometimes and mix really fast, it was hard not to let a little splash up now and then. "Mixxy mixxy mixxy, hehe, soon it will be reddy." Another little habit of hers that her siblings often considered annoying. A lot of the time she'd start cooking and "narrate" it in a little singsong voice or with silly rhymes. "Miss Bella wanna get a pan an' turn on the stove for the pancakes?"

Bella smiled as she was close to get hid by some of the stuff.* Well you look like you having real much fun. Just be careful you don't spill on something or someone* She could see and little spot on her her* Just like that. And yes chef I go turn on a pane* She smiled and love how fun it was. She was like a little version of Cirmson. Well it was her child so it was not so weird that they have something they look like.* I think this look big enough. * She put it on and turn on the heat of it. so it was hot and ready to put some pancakes on it. she find some butter to make it more easy to get it of the pane again

Now came the serious side of Scarlet the chef, the side that didn't want to make any mistakes in the actual cooking. She was extremely delicate as she portioned out a nice amount of the batter into the pan and let it shape, adding tiny little drops here and there quickly so it would all form together and still be flippable. Most would have assumed she'd do something silly like slap a spatula full of batter on it or something but no, she was very careful. "Miss Bella wanna make this a berry cake with fruits and berries right in it or just wanna top it with fruit?" It would have to be a quick decision because before too long the batter would be too hard to add it all in.

Why don't want we do one of every one so we can try which one is the best. I have a lot of berries and some orange and some melons and passion and kiwi so lets try to find out what is the best mix.* She smiled and look at her she was now the more serious part of her. She was not sure if she Strong enough to lift the big pane. But she could always help her maybe if she lucky she could make a pancake flip like her old nanny

"Hehe, okay, add in something now if you want miss Bella. An' you wanna flip it or should I?" Scarlet despite her size was definitely very strong. When she had to she had a grip of iron practically. She was starting to think of which would be best, looking forward to trying a pancake with kiwi or pineapple. "No yucky veggie pancakes though right miss Bella? Only tasty fruit and chocolate ones?" If she had her way she'd probably only eat one that was completely covered in chocolate chips and whipped cream or something.
