Vixi just kind of frowned as she heard rose speak now. She was unsure of what to think of the dragoness saying that her claws were pretty. That was yet another thing that no one had ever said to her. She was starting to get the feeling that she was going to hear a lot more things like that as she stayed with the dragoness. Though she had to admit she did not mind all of the complements. If this kept up her ego might get a little bigger. Like that was really possible but still. She now moved off of the dragoness lap as she stood and walked her over to the sink. “ alright if you want to help then I will let you madam.“ she said with a slightly softer tone then she had used before. She could feel her evil urges passing as quickly as they had started. That was they way that these sort of things happen with vixi. One she was trying to kill you and the next she was getting along just fine with you. It was all very strange and hard for most to understand. But then again the mind was a very strange thing. And the minds of killers like vixi were even stranger in some ways. she was also not very sure what to think when rose helped her wash her hand either. Suppose rose was taking care of her as if she was her kid. If that was the case then vixi could have told the dragoness that she did not need a new mother. No after the way that her other one had treated her.



She now watched rose as she wrapped her hands tight with bandages to stop the bleeding. She then heard her say that it would be hard for her to make a fist now. As if to test that thereby vixi flexed her hand cringing at the slight pain that caused them. “ yeah it might. No it wont be that bad madam and alright then.“ she said with a smile now. Vixi took a second to glance about the kitchen. Yes this place might have things she could use as weapons if she ever wanted to. An evil grin once again spread on her face as she thought about that. She then distracted herself by watching the old dragoness as she got out the chess board. Vixi had played this game once while she was in prison. It had resulted in her beating the other female and the other female breaking the board over her right wing. Then vixi had attacked the other and killed her before the guards came and broke it up. That was when they thought that it was best to keep her away from the other inmates. So it had been until she had escaped that place. She then saw her sit don and made her way over to the table and sat near her listing as she asked her question. “ hehehe you know these thing hurt if you ever get hit hard enough with them. Trust me I know all to well. oh ? That sounds interesting. Of course to be fair you would need an award if you win too though.” vixi said with a smile. She wanted this to be a fair game for both after all. Though to tell the truth vixi was not sure what she wanted as a reward. After all helping her get better was good enough for her.

Rose smiled, nodding toward the board again. "We'll see how things go. For the first game winner gets to declare their reward after the end, just to make things interesting." Now that Vixi was sitting down Rose let her tail wander under the table and wrap around the girl's ankle, smiling a little more. She wasn't interested in becoming a replacement parent for Vixi, more like a very important big sister or something else. "Well you get the first move, and hopefully it won't be using the board as a weapon." Now her friend was capable of radical changes in her personality but she was also quite capable of prolonged periods of being nice, respectful, fun to be around, all sorts of positive things. She was also quite prone to the exact opposite but the dragoness didn't want to think about that right now. Only positive thoughts for now to keep Vixi happy and entertained, or at least confused as to what she was trying to keep her busy and happy.

Vixi started watching rose as she smiled at her as she nodded to the board with a smile as she spoke. Her idea for how to set up the rules for winning the first game sounded good to her at the moment.” okay madam that sounds good to me then.” She then smiled very slightly as she felt her wrap her tail around her ankle. Vixi had forgotten slight how strange that felt for her to do that. Though she was not going to complain about it right now because she thought that this was either a loving jester or it was to prevent her from moving away from her to far. And she was really leaning towards the preventing her from moving away method. Oh well vixi supposed that she could tolerate that for the moment . She then smiled as she heard rose tell her that she could have the first move.” okay madam I can do that. Heh no I am not going to do to you unless you go and pick on me or something if I loose . And I doubt you would do that .” she started keeping an evil hiss to her voice. That showed that her evil thoughts were still around in her mind. Hum well now here came the part where she took a second to remember how this game worked. That should take her mind off of her thoughts for a second or two. Then an evil smile came to her face as she made her first move and looked back at in to rose eyes now. “ okay madam now it is your turn.” she said using the same tone as before. Indeed vixi did have many good aspects about her persona. However she was very afraid to show this to other for fear that they would make fun of her for it or tell her that she was weak for feeling that way. Though she knew rose would not do that she still had the strong urge to keep that dark demeanor of hers up and her guard high just incase she was wrong or something like that. Though she was starting to feel calmer at the moment.

Rose knew how to play the game very well, and she knew how to make a game close. She looked at Vixi's move and took her own, a move that according to most pros would probably be foolish, but she wasn't playing a pro and this first game in her mind was for fun. Sure there was still a reward one of them would get to name at the end but until then it was just a friendly match. Besides the girl wasn't going anywhere at the moment, Rose was seeing to that. She could be unpredictable in her current mindframe but it would pass soon enough, especially if she won or lost by a huge margin. "I promise I won't pick on you whether you win or lose, and now it's your move."

Vixi watched rose now as she made her move. The look in her eyes changed from dark to more soft and thoughtful then anything. It was odd just how fast that this female could switch moods. The bad thing was that part of the time she was not aware that her eyes also told how she felt. Vixi always figured that she could hide that part very well. Though the fact was that she could not be farther from the truth. Either way it was not like she could do much in terms of hurting anyone if she whished to live according to the black dragon. Though vixi rather doubted that he could ever catch her again if he had to. She moved her hand over to her patched eye as rubbing it she sat there. That wound had healed very nicely this was true. However for some reason her eye never gained its vision back and had gone blind. Maybe it was because she could not keep it clean and live in the woods at the same time. After all she did not have very good bathing habits. The dragoness had probably gathered as much when she had vixi in her lap a few moments ago. So she had started to just keep it covered all of the time so that no one would stare at her or ask questions. She also kept it covered now so that rose would not feel bad over what happened. After all that was not the dragons fault it was her own. As she did this she also searched her arms a bit so that it would look like she was getting comfortable instead of thinking as she thought about what she said and what her next move would be. “ that’s good to know madam. Hum alright then.” she said with a smile. She then looked at the board and smiled. She then made her move and looked back to the female dragon. “ your turn again madam.” she said softly to her. Indeed this would prove to be a very fun game.

Rose smiled and took her move quickly, a simple strategy in mind. She also took time to notice Vixi rubbing at the patch. She had suspected it might not heal but at least it hadn't become worse. She hoped it didn't get worse anyway, last thing she wanted to do was have to remove it if it became infected or had other serious complications. "If you need me to clean that out again for you I can. It's your move." Now she'd need to start considering what she might want for a potential reward, and what Vixi might want to claim if she won. Since Rose never really put any kind of limit on things it was hard to tell, with the girl's mood swings she might come up with something incredibly creative and devious, or something straightforward and obvious. Maybe something that would be breaking Blake's rules or for all she knew something that would help her keep inside those guidelines.

Vixi gave a slight smile as she watched rose make her move. Vixi was pretty certain that she was going to lose this first round. After all it had been a very long time since she had played and she had only played that one game with a very poor player. A very poor player with a nasty temper to boot. Luckily that was not the case with the dragoness here. She then smiled again when rose said that she could fix her wound again if she needed it. She doubted that it would do her eye much good though. After all what was the use in taking care of something that she did not use any longer? If it was really bad though vixi would have to think a bit before allowing rose to remove it. That kind of thing could kill her after all. Though the infection something like that could cause might hurt her even worse. Though she was going to keep that kind of thinking out of her mind for the moment. “ heh well I can not tell you rather it needs to be cleaned or not. I do know that it can no longer see there fore it hurts me quite a bit because of that . At least that is what I assume anyhow cause I am not a doctor by no means. And alright then” she said frowning slightly. She hated admitting that something hurt her at all. Only reason she did that now was because she wanted to honest with rose right now.

She smiled thinking about her next move. Then she smiled as she made it looking at the female dragon as she did so. As far as what she wanted for a reward vixi had no clue. After all there really was not much she needed right now. She had turned to her move loving mood right now. This meant that her reward could be anything from a simple statement of praise to something like a hug or a kiss. See even vixi did not know what she wanted until the last second. Though she did know that some smokes would be really good right now. Though she had some of those at her home she could have her host get her some. Suppose she should tell rose about that. Oh wait she already did that. Vixi shook her head now once again clearing her mind as she waited for rose to make her move.

Rose looked at the board and almost seemed to randomly grab a piece and move it. "I'll take a look after our little game here and see if there's anything I can do for it." At least she could try to keep Vixi healthy for the most part. She couldn't magically make her eye work again but she could keep it from getting worse. If she knew how Vixi's moods were swinging and how unpredictable her desires could be right now she would have been even happier to say the winner gets to claim their prize at the end, what she wanted at the beginning might not be the same thing at all at this rate. And of course the smoking habit, Rose had all but forgotten about it. Apparently people that always smoked outside didn't have the same lingering odor like those who kept lighting up indoors.

Vixi now watched rose as she made her moved now. It seemed to her that the dragoness had a strategy in her mind for defeating her in this game. She smiled though for she had the feeling that she was going to lose when the game had first started. She then heard rose say that she would take a look at her eye when they were done playing. She actually kind of dreaded that for she did not want there to be something bad wrong with her eye for that was the last thing she needed right now. She knew full well that rosé care about her and wanted the best for her . She also knew that rose was no metical worker either nor did she expect her to be. She only told rose about it being hurt because she had mentioned the wound and vixi did not want to be sick. “ alright that sounds good to me madam. ” she said with a smile. Then she smiled and moved her peace after looking at the board for a few minutes . This was kind of frustrating for her though she was trying to show it at the moment. Indeed vixi might change her mind fifty time before deciding on a prize. Then again she might just find one thing she wanted and stick to. Never could tell with those like vixi. Indeed those who smoked outside tended not to have the bad smell about them. After all vixi smoked a few a day and still did not smell that badly like smoke. Unless one smelled her breath after she smoked. Though if rose did not want her to smoke she would try not to . Though that would make her more prone to going in rages all of the sudden.

Vixi wasn't doing too bad for the first few moves, and Rose had a plan somewhat forming, but if she tried it she'd have to pretty much voluntarily offer up a piece to be taken. She moved one of her pawns right into the way of another and figured either way she might stand a chance of gaining some ground. The way would be open for a power piece if her pawn was taken or if it got to take Vixi's. "Your move now." Actually she had picked up a few things since the girl's last visit here, a few things that she thought might make her stay more comfortable. Not to mention a few clean clothes she'd made for her, maybe that would be her prize, have Vixi try on the clothing she made and see if it fits well or looks nice to her.

Vixi gave a very slight smile when she saw rose make her. Move. Indeed it gave her a very good opportunity to move her piece and be able to take roses. She just had to wonder though why the dragoness would do something like that. That got vixi to thinking about her own plan. Though one should always not that vixi never had plans about anything. She was very random and impulsive most of the time. Though her impulsive nature made her appear stupid that was never the case with her. “ alright madam .” she said with a smile. She then moved her piece and smiled slightly now putting her plan sort of in to action. “ okay now its your turn again madam “ she said with a smile. Vixi had decided a while ago that made was going to be her term of endearment for rose. It showed that she respected her and it gave her something to call her as well as her name. generally vixi was not the kind who liked to model cloths for others. Though she would do whatever the dragoness wanted for the moment. She did want to change but knew that it would take a while to do that. Now as she waited for rose to make her moved she decided to test something. She moved her foot that rose had her tail wrapped around feeling it pull very slightly. She was not trying to get away though. She was just seeing how the dragoness would react to her doing such a thing. She liked to test her limits with other to see what upset them and what did not.

Rose just kept her tail loosely around Vixi's ankle so she'd know she was still there but not about to pull her back down into her seat if she got up. That wasn't necessary, if the girl wanted to get up or leave she could, at any time really. What happened when she left was a different story. The dragoness took Vixi's bait in the game though and made her move, smiling. If she ever frowned or stopped smiling her opponent would know something was up, so winning, losing, even just starting she was always smiling. "Let's see how this goes now."

Vixi noted that rose did not tighten her tail grip on her ankle when she pulled against it. That made her wonder if she was really telling the black dragon the truth when she said she would try to keep her out of trouble. She also started to wander what rose would do if ever she found that she had left her again. Would she call the black dragon and tell him or would the older dragon go after her herself? And if it was the latter what would the older dragoness do with her once she caught her? See she knew that the dragon would kill her just like he said she just was not sure what this one would do. See vixi had a very strange fascination with that sort of thing. It reminded her of what she sis to her own victims if the messed with her too much while she was tormenting them. Yet another thing about having a very sick twisted outlook in life. Her face now had a slightly confused look as she pondered those questions now. She then decide that perhaps it would be better if she just asked her host those questions. After all she had the right to know such things. So as she watched rose smiling and making her move she looked her in the eyes with a cold dark stare. See there was only a very few things that made her laugh and smile and this was currently not one of them. “ heh yeah. Madam I have a question though I know you probably wont want to answer it. If I ever leave here what would you do? I mean would you send some one to get me or go yourself ? Then if you did find me what would you do to punish me ? Or would you do so at all? I ask this because I like to know what to expect if I break your rules .” she said with that same cold tone .

She rather doubted that the dragoness would answer her directly . She figured that she was not really sure herself or that she was going to use that as surprise if ever vixi tried to run. Well not if but when because vixi was just as liable to run even if she said she wanted to change. That was part of her rather random persona. Then as she waited for rose to respond vixi made her next move. She look carefully at the board as she moved her pieces again. It was probably obvious to the dragoness now that she was a bit of a poor chess player. But a least she did know a little about how to play unlike most other cons. So far it looked like she was getting the upper hand in this game. She noted the way that rose smiled all the while . It made her wonder what was on her mind now. Maybe this was what the dragoness wanted. She wanted her to gain the upper hand so that she could find a way to beat her or something like that. Oh well if that was the case then vixi supposed that she could counter it some how or just accept the fact that she was defeated by a better player. Either way this was turning out to be a very interesting game for both of them.

"Oh I'd keep track of you for a while." Rose said, tail gently brushing up and down along Vixi's ankle and leg. "You aren't exactly confined to this one little cottage after all. And if you handle yourself very well while I keep track of you, then I might even leave you alone until you choose to come back. If I saw you slipping when nobody was around, just acting irritable and looking like you want to kill someone, I'd come down, give you a gentle reminder of how bad an idea that would be, then fly off again. Now... if you were to go after someone..." Rose had to think for a moment, not just on her next move in the game but on exactly how she wanted to phrase this to get it clear without sounding mean or threatening. Her tail squeezed a little around Vixi now, just enough to let her know she was being serious. "Depending on how far things have gotten would depend on whether I'd just try to restrain you or have to take you back here by some other means. I'd really hate to even consider it but, if you were about to kill someone, and if I rushed, it could be serious injuries to you or worse. But I'm betting that won't happen, and I'm hoping you'll want to stay here with me." Rose made her move and captured one of Vixi's stronger pieces, leaving one of her own open at the same time but she figured it would be a fair trade.

Vixi gave a slight frown as she listened to rose speak. It actually kind of surprised her that she would answer something like that. Perhaps vixi needed more time to try to figure this lady dragon out. So far she was quit interesting to the killer con and that was part of what kept her from trying to kill her . Then of course there was the fact that she liked the dragoness and considered her a friend. See if you were vixis friend then you did not have much to worry about unless she got upset or her urges got to strong to resist. She now just smiled as she felt rose moving her tail against her leg. She actually kind of liked that sensation though she would never admit it. See vixi was not used to getting touched by others unless they wanted to hurt her. She shivered slightly at that thought. What if the dragoness was doing all of this so that she could hurt her latter. No that was the way vixi was not the dragoness. At least that’s what vixi had gather so far by watching her while she was here. She then frowned and tensed slightly when she felt rose tighten her tail around her as she though of her next statement. Then she heard her statement about how she would hurt her only if she hurt some one else . Surprisingly enough vixi could understand that well enough. Then she saw rose make her move and take one of her pieces . For the first time in a while a sort of playful grin came to her face. She was having fun in this game . Though the smile quickly faded when vixi realized what she was doing. She did not want to let her guard down for too long in case something bad happened. She then was quiet for a second as she though about what the dragoness said and made her move. She then moved her pieces to where she could catch the piece that rose had left open. That made her smile again and look back to rose this time holding her grin.



Vixi now got a softer look to her eyes as she thought of what to say. She decided that she would give the dragoness another sort of test. She was going to let her in on just how she felt about her. This was a hard thing for her to do but for some reason she wanted to rose to know how she felt right now. Now there was two things that could happen. Either rose would take her statement to or she would laugh back in her face. And vixi would react according to what she said or did. “ ahh I see. Well madam I will tell you that I am not going anywhere right now. I just had to know what to expect in such a situation. I can not make you any promises on that one madam but I will try to behave. Now I have something to tell you . I uhh… heh….. You know I have never told anyone this but I …. think I like you . No not like or think … love that’s the word I know I love you madam as a friend . A really close friend.” she said pausing a few times to find the right words for her statement. It actually made her feel really awkward to say such a thing but it was also sort of a relief at the same time.
