It was the beginning of a quiet day around the school as a lone student walked the hall. She was humming slightly as she took a turn down the hall way. She did not have class today for school was out for now. so she had decided that it would be a good time to take a small tour around the school. She had now made her way in to the stair way that lead up to the astronomy tower. She knew that there were no classes here right now so she would not be disturbing anyone by going up here . Or so she thought . As she started up the stairs she heard the laughs of at least two or three other students. Not wanting to get in their way she stepped to the side to let them go past her. There was a dragon, a wolf and some sort of cat / dog hybrid in the group. As they went past the male wolf or maybe it was a fox look at her and smiled a toothy grin.


“ hey want to do me a favor? Take this back in to the class room up there. I accidentally took it with me.” he said handing icey a can of blue spray paint and walked on past her laughing with the other two.



“ uhh err I guess I will” mumbled icey as she watched him leave. She had to wonder why he would want to have her take paint up to the class room . after all paint was for art not astronomy. She got a bad feeling that she was going to regret coming up here. however she tried to brush the feeling off and kept on walking. As she got up the stairs she came to the door that lead in to the classroom. She opened the door and took a few steps inside of the room. That is when she saw why the boys were laughing . The room was painted with blue paint and everything that could be broken in there was. “ oh ….. wow.” was the only thing icey could say to the sight. Why would someone want to do something like this? She then looked down at the can of paint in her hand realizing that it now looked like she had done all of this. well that was not good. She decide that she should leave right then and pretend she never saw the mess. That was when she heard the sound of another coming up the stairs. She looked to the door nervously still holding the can of paint in her hand knowing she could be in a lot of trouble now. Wow what a way to start off her day.

Heavy footsteps coming up to the tower, a dragon's. A towering black dragon opened the door and took a look around, not liking what he saw. "What... what the... hey, what happened in here? This isn't good, not in the least." Blake's gaze focused on Icey, a slightly familiar face. No, she wasn't the kind to get into trouble, especially like this. "Something's wrong with this picture, aside from all the damage. You're not the kind to get into this sort of trouble, what happened? Set that can down and show me your hands first, maybe we can clear part of this up right now."
If she had paint on her hands it was from handling the can and from using it a lot, if there wasn't any paint then her odds were slightly improved but not perfect. Athos might have some sort of security tapes but for now the dragon had to deal with it himself.

Icey gave a slight frown to the dragon as he entered the room and looked at the mess. She knew that he was not very happy at the sight before him. Even she knew that there was a lot of damage done here. She also knew that she did not do things like that either. Of course given the current situation she looked guilty and she knew it. However she was slightly relived that the black dragon ,though his name slipped her mind at the moment, knew enough about her to know that she was no troublemaker. However she knew that she was still in trouble until she was proven innocent. “uhh….. I don’t …..know really “ Icey said in a nervous tone. She knew that this only made her look more guilty . However this was the first time that icey had ever been in this kind of situation.



She now listened as he spoke again. . He wanted to see her hands? Oh well that was understandable. She did not spray the paint of course. However there was wet paint all over the can when the boy hand handed it to her. So there fore it had gotten all over her gloves when she took it from him . That was the last time icey would fall for something like that. “ uhh ….no I am not. Uhhh…. Well I don’t know ….it was like this when I got here…. You want to see my hands? Uhhh…. Alright.” she said . She then set the can down on a table that was knocked over. She then lifted her hands showing them to the dragon. She was starting to wonder if she was going to get blamed for this. While she had plenty of money to pay for the damage she did not want to take the blame for someone else crime. She also had to wonder what the punishment for something like this was. She did not want to end up being a labeled a criminal like her older sister was supposed to be. That just was not in iceys nature.

Well it wasn't foolproof evidence by any means but at first glance with the paint all over her gloves it did seem kind of bad for her. So why did she still have the gloves on even if she'd been using them for the "painting" of the room? "This is... a lot of damage. So at first glance either you're really good at wrecking everything in sight really fast, or there was more than one person here. And I just passed a few in the halls, so, I'd guess they're involved but that doesn't prove anything for you either." In all fairness he had to focus on the one right here and do his best to either clear her or decide she was obviously guilty.

"I'd really like to prove you innocent but that's looking to be quite a challenge right now. So... how do we do that? I think there's a security camera somewhere around here but I'm not sure where. And I don't have access to them at the moment."

Icey shifted nervously try to get herself to calm down a bit. She was nervous because she was afraid of being in trouble. After all she did not want to earn a reputation as a troublemaker if she did not cause the trouble. Not that she ever would cause trouble. Really she had not thought of the paint getting all over her when the boy had handed her the can. She was just trying to figure out why he wanted her to take it up here in the first place. There was a reason that she wore gloves all the time. She did not want anyone to see her claws. Why? well that answer was simple . Her parents had always taught her that a lady was supposed to were gloves. It was supposed to make the look more female. Plus icey just did not like having long sharp claws in the first place. She always caught them on things that she went past them. she now listened as the dragon spoke again. Yeah it was a lot of damage. And some of the things that were broken here icey was sure that she could not lift by herself much less break. “ yeah it is… I did not do this….. I don’t even think ………I could break all this really…. If it was the same three …..that asked me to take …… that spray paint up here then yeah …..” she said trying not to sound to nervous.




She understood that the dragon was doing his job. She did not blame him for thinking that she did this. Heck anyone caught in a situation like this was automatically a suspect. She just hoped that he could find the real couplets here. If her parents heard that she was in a situation like this they would not be very happy with her. They thought that any kid of their was supposed to be perfect. Maybe that was why vixi left them. Icey could never be for certain on that thought. She now looked at him as he spoke again. Well at least he was trying to help her instead of jumping to conclusions like some would have. “ yeah…. I don’t really know…… I have never been in trouble ….like this before…. Ahh yeah I see.” icey said with a sigh. If there was a camera here or nearby then it could confirm at least part of what she said. She could just hope that there was one in the room so that whoever watched them could see that this was not her doing.

"Well... this is the sort of thing where I should probably call the headmaster and tell him what's happened, and call the other security officers and have them lock down the school. But I have a feeling those other kids probably did it all on their own. And I'd make a guess they think they're off the hook. Or at least they will if this goes just the way I want it to. See, vandals have a nasty habit of striking repeatedly if they think they got away with their first attempt. So I'm expecting they'll go after some place like the bell tower next, or the gardens. So... I'm going to gamble that you didn't have anything to do with this. I'm also going to wager that if those others hear someone's been caught for this little crime they'll hold off on pranks for a day or two, then try again. That should be enough time to catch up with them, at least I hope it is."

And he certainly had a few very creative punishment ideas in mind for the ones that caused all this trouble. Athos might be able to pull something up from the camera but Blake had a different method in mind. If they were as bad as he thought they wouldn't be able to resist teasing this girl if she was reported as "caught" for the crime and put down in the lower levels. "Would you like to help catch them? You'd be used as bait and it wouldn't exactly be comfortable but I'm pretty sure it would work." And on the off chance that she was guilty at least this little idea of his would have her spend some time locked up as a punishment.

Icey listened to the dragon as he spoke . She was rather relived that he was not going to tell the headmaster about this for she knew that would create a lot of trouble for him. Icey did not like to make the jobs of others harder. She wanted those around her to know that they could relax and not have to worry about what she might do. Icey did not like confrontation at all. She was a peaceful sort who would want everyone upset see if a lot of other had to be questioned they might have been mad at her thinking that she had caused it all. See icey was just a little paranoid when it came to things like this. Pulse something like that could make her look even more guilty and she most certainly did not want that. On the other hand though she did not want the dragon to get in to trouble for not doing his job right either. “ yeah . They probably do. Humm ….. I see. Yeah they might do that. ….okay thank you. ……. I certainly hope so.” icey said. She shifted her position now relaxing just a tiny bit. And she did so she moved her wings very slightly to where they were laying against her back a little bit. She just hoped that what ever the dragon had in mind would work. Other wise she was still in trouble.



Icey listened to the dragon now as he spoke again. It sound like he had a plan of some sort already. And it also sounded like he wanted her to help him with it as well. Hum well she was not one who like to get involved with things like this. But she did want to catch the ones who had gotten her in trouble. Not that she would do anything to them but still. Icey was not a violent type of creature. That was more like her father. He was one who was angry and mean especially if he had been drinking and such. Icey gave the dragon at thoughtful look when he asked her if she wanted to help catch the ones who had caused all of this trouble. Well she could help him do that she supposed. Indeed if the boys were bad enough to want to destroy a classroom then they would probably poke at icey for getting in trouble for it as well. Either way if there was a good way to help catch the boys icey would try to help if she could as long as she did not get hurt or anything like that. “ Yeah I would if you would like for me to…. Hum what do you have in mind?” icey said and asked.. She had to wonder exactly what he was planning here now. Icey had explore a lot of the school but she was not aware of the fact that they had a place to lock up bad students. Though she supposed that would work for the really bad students. She would just not want to be punished for a crime she did not commit was all.

"Well there's two options I can think of at the moment. One is probably more frustrating and possibly time consuming but it would be a bit more of a guarantee to get the kids responsible for this. We could go to the security room and ask our head of security to check the cameras around here and reference all the students currently enrolled. Then you'd have to be able to say for sure that you saw them or they were the ones that tried to pin this on you. That's one way. The other way, we'd pretend to lock you up down in the lower levels and announce we caught the person responsible for this mess. They'd hopefully come down to taunt you, I'd be waiting around the corner and they'd get thrown into a real cell down there instead of the fake one you'd be in. Of course if they don't take the bait or if they're not the kind to come down and brag, then it would just be locking you up for no good reason for a while. So which would you prefer to try to help us?"

And if she didn't like either idea or didn't want to be a part of things, well, he could understand that but it would also sort of make her look bad for a while.

Icey gave a slight frown as she thought about what the dragon had said. She was willing to help him as far as that went. She had to think about witch one she wanted to do. The first one would be easier on her but it would take quiet a while to do. She had only glanced at the students so she could not really be for certain that was them. Though she was pretty sure that she knew what they looked like. Then there was the second option which actuality sounded kind of scary to her. The thought of being locked up had always unnerved her slightly especially since she had heard so many terrible stories from her father and mother . They told her that it was the reason they never let her or her brother visit her sister. Not that icey ever wanted to. She was afraid of her older sister due to fact that her mother claimed that she was insane. However if it meant that they might catch the boys she was willing to try either one he wanted to. She now looked to the dragon now that she had made her decision. “ well we could try the second option first since it might be a little easier then the first one. Though I guess if it dose not work you would have to try the other option…” she said softly. She was not really sure why those boys would want to try to get her in trouble. Was it because she was a rich girl who never caused trouble? Or maybe she was just a random victim? She could never know the answers to those questions. All she did know was that she did not plan to get in to all of this trouble in the first place. Oh well that is what she got for being too nice she supposed.

"We'll stop by the security office along the way just to make sure that someone's starting to look through the cameras and see if they can come up with anything. Then I'll show you the dungeon area and you can change your mind about that if you want. Better lock the place up though before we go anywhere just in case the vandals want to come back. Don't think anyone will be using the room for the rest of the day, and don't want the janitor to have to come up here and clean it all up if we can get those problem kids to do it. The least they should do is clean up their mess after all right?"

Icey nodded as she listened to the big black dragon speak. There was one thing to note about the you secretary bird. If she said that she was going to do something then she would do it. Unless of course she found out that it could get her in trouble or something like that. Though the though of being locked up did bother her a little bit she was sure that she could deal with it. It was no like he was going to leave her down there for several days or something. Unless he truly though that she had done all of this. Though she could not blame him for thinking that. Icey was not one of those who held grudges. She was the kind who just let things go and went with the flow. “ alright that sounds good…okay. Yeah that sounds like a good idea. …. Heh yeah they really should have to clean up their own messes.” she said with a slight frown. Icey just hoped that they could catch the criminals before they did anything else.

Blake led the way out of the tower and down into the school, locking up both the entrance to the actual classroom and the entrance to the tower. Now he had to figure out how to get to the security room, Athos loved hiding it and had only let him in there once but he knew which floor it was on at least. "I don't think they're crazy enough to continue a spree when they almost got caught this time. If you had been someone else, like a staff member, they would be in detention or back up there by now. So their luck is going to run out pretty soon, just a matter of when. Hmm... I think the security office is right around this corner here..."

Icey walked behind the dragon as they made their way to the security room. She waited quietly as he locked up the place. She could not blame the security people for hiding their office. Heck someone might be stupid enough to break in there and destroy evidence of their crimes. She had heard of some doing things like that. Icey just really did not see the point in going around and causing a big bunch of trouble. Though that was just the way some students liked to act. That was why some were sent here. Though in icey case her parents simply wanted her to be educated by a fine school. Though if they knew that something like this had happened they would not want her to go here any long. Which was why she kind of hoped that her parents never found out about any of this. She now pushed her thoughts away as she heard the dragon speak once again. “ hum probably not. Unless they are drunk or something. Yeah . Okay .” she said walking behind him still. She knew that no one could tell just what troublemaking teens would go and do these days. Though these probably weren’t stupid like some could be.

"Hmm, it has to be around here somewhere, but where?"

Blake was standing at the intersection when the corner of the hallway itself shifted, opening up to a narrow doorway. "Yes Blake, it's right here. Nobody's ever clever enough to think of the corner, they all think it has to be somewhere along the side. That's why nobody ever finds my security office. Now get in here before someone comes along."

"Dang Athos, don't sneak up on me like that. Well, ok, come on Icey, let's get in before he throws a tantrum." The dragon was barely able to fit into the office entrance but once inside it was nice and roomy, motioning the student to follow.

Icey was following Blake as he made his way to the security room. She heard him say that it had vto around somewhere. Then something happened that icey did not really expect to happen. She watched a bit amazed as the corner of the hallway shifter reveling the small doorway. She then heard a vice come from inside the door way. That almost made her jump. However she was the kind who hide the fact that they were afraid. Yet another thing her father had taught her. She kind of looked at the dragon funny as she stood there with him. She knew one thing . Whoever had made this doorway was very smart and good at what they did. No wonder blake had trouble finding this place. She heard the dragon now speak to the person that was inside the room. Then he told her to follow him inside. She still could not help but feel slightly nervous about this who situation. “ okay .” she said softly to Blake. Then she followed him inside of the room. She held a nervous look on her face still. She simply was not sure what to expect now was all.
