The dragoness smiled, slowly letting her tail go from around Vixi's ankle as she stood up and walked around to the girl's side of the table. She couldn't help herself, she hugged Vixi and gave her a kiss on the cheek. "I'm glad you feel that way, I love you too." She didn't care what anyone else might say about that, even if Vixi wasn't the nicest person to some Rose understood her and cared about her. She wanted to be there for her and to do so in any way possible. And what's more, she knew how hard it must have been to say that. Even when she was just struggling with it in her head it was probably still difficult to try and verbalize. She didn't want to add more to the complications so a few other things she might want to say were held back, simply giving her response and her actions a chance to sink in and be appreciated.

Vixi now looked to the dragoness as she saw her smile and felt her move her tail from around her ankle. She then smiled very slightly to her when she stood up and walked over and gave her a hug and kiss. Much to her own surprise vixi carefully reached up and hugged her as well and returned her kiss very gently. Vixi hardly ever showed these kind of emotions to anyone. Though for some reason she felt as if she could do that around rose. However she also felt her killer urges stirring. They were telling her to harm the dragon while her guard was dropped. However she just tried to hold that back. There would be time to ponder such things latter. She then gave rose a soft look as he heard what she was saying now. So she felt the same way for her. Well this made vixi feel slightly better about telling her such feelings. “ and I am glad that you feel the same as well. “ she said with a smile. She was glad that there was at least one person she could trust right now. Though that trust was very slight at the moment at least it was still there. Indeed it was very hard for vixi to tell other what she felt. Her parents never cared , the gang she join saw it as weakness and prison was not a place to show emotions either. So she slowly started to force emotions to go away. And after years of dong that she only felt a few things now. Anger, hate , sometimes lust and then there was a few more that were better left unmentioned. The ones she hid were things like sadness love and another soft emotions as she called them. Though now that she had told rose how she felt even she had to admit that she felt a lot better. Though that did not mean she would show rose love like most would. No vixi would be very slow and subtitle about it for the moment. but at lest she was still showing her that she cared instread of trying to kill her.

And now they needed to either get back to their little game of chess or they had to continue to discuss these feelings. As she didn't think the latter was terribly likely, she opted for the former with a smile and returning to her seat. This time as her tail reached under the table it wrapped gently around Vixi's ankle and the tip was teasingly rubbing against her leg and foot from time to time. She was definitely happy to have someone that she could care about and that cared about her, enough that she was totally distracted from her game now. Still the dragoness figured out a piece to move and took her turn, probably an unimpressive one but at this point she didn't mind. "Your move."

Vixi gave a very slight smile back to the dragoness as she watched her walk back to her seat. Vixi knew most did not understand her odd ways but she also knew that rose was not one of those creatures. She gave an almost flirty smile when she felt rose wrap her tail back around her ankle and rub the tip against her leg and foot. She found that she liked the feeling of another touching her with out wanting to harm her. Though she was making certain that she did not get to excited for that would be rather embarrassing for her. That was one thing about herself that vixi did not care for , being of both genders. However it was something that she had learned to hide quite well. Vixi then concentrated her attention on watching rose make her next move and tell her that it was her turn. “ okay madam” she said with a smile. She was also distracted from their game though she tried not to show it too much. She looked at the board and then moved her piece again . She then looked to rose and said “ now its your turn madam.” she too was very happy to have someone like rose around. Someone she could depend on if she had to. Though vixi could not show this due to her hiding most of her emotions from others. still though atleast she was thinking like that for now.

Rose could definitely be depended on and Vixi could certainly trust her. Even if the girl slipped in Blake's rules she wouldn't want to turn her in. The dragoness smiled and took her turn, no longer caring at all about the outcome but knowing exactly what she would ask for. And after the game, and after any rewards or anything, they could go to Vixi's location and pick up anything she still needed from there. It might even be a nice little hiding place that could be expanded in case they couldn't get back to the cottage from the woods for any reason in the future. Maybe bad weather or a bunch of bigger animals blocking the way, not that Rose had any problems with them. She already knew about the biggest things in the area and they wouldn't bother her. There was something to be said about being the oldest anthro in the area, possibly the world, even a few "feral" dragons took note and listened to their elder.

Vixi was now watching rose with a very slight smile on her face. She was feeling the evil thought coming back again. See she was always fighting these urges. It was why she had not ever had any desire to get close to others. She was always feeing urges to kill them while they were sleeping or had their back to her. No one could ever trust someone like her either. Perhaps though this would all change one day . For now she just had to fight them and ignore them. Though the more she did this the darker the look in her eye was. She then focused her attention on the game at hand and smile. Now she knew just how she wanted to move though it would no be a very good move. “ heh you know madam I think I do need to tell you something since were are to be staying together and all if I had not already told you. I have a smoking habit. I only smoke outside though because I know it bothers others but I thought I would say that in case you ever need to know" she said softly now. She never had been good at games like this after all. After making her moved she moved her feet very slightly as she stretched a bit. She was not used to being still for very long at a time. She was always on the move to keep away from the cops and other who wanted hurt her. Though she was very glad to know that she was safe here with her dragoness friend. As far as where vixi stayed it was not very impressive. She had her home put under a large rock shelf so that she was protected from the rain. Infract to get under there one had to crawl under the moss and ferns that covered the entrance. Though that also meant that it was well protected from other who wanted to steal from her. Why ever they would want to make a move like that.

The dragoness simply smiled, turned her head slightly to the side, and let a thin trail of smoke escape her nostrils. "That's quite alright, only time I'd mind smoking is if I was patching someone up and needed to keep their injury clean. Or if another guest would mind it." Of course smoking outside was still a little preferable since if someone did come to pay a visit it'd be nicer on them. She could always buy an air freshener if she had to or just open a window and fan out some of the smokey air with her wings. Now what should she do for her next move in this game? Hmm, this one might confuse her but it might not pay off too much either, well that was part of the fun to her sometimes. Just try something random and see if you could perplex the opponent a little. Sometimes it was fun watching an expert criticize a move she made only to find out it worked for her five or six moves later. "Your turn." she said with a smile after she moved the piece.

Vixi smiled when she saw the dragoness breath smoke from nose. Hum now there was a rather interesting talent . She then smiled a bit more when she hard what the dragoness said next. She really would not have to worry much about her smoking inside . See she knew how that sort of thing could leave a bad smell in a house and she would not want to do that to rose. Besides smoking outside made less of the smell get on her own cloths and if she dropped it she would not have to worry about anything getting burned up. Well anything important any how. “ ahh I see . Well I mostly smoke outside so the smell don’t get on me . That way others do not say I stink. Heh unless of course they notice I don’t bathe often. Heh I actually do not know why I just told you that.” she said. It was obvious now that her mood had shifted to a lighter more trusting one though it seemed that vixi did not notice the change. Unlike most vixi did not ever notice her odd mood swings and actions. That was why when she hurt someone she did not see why she got in trouble for it. Was it not in a creatures nature to kill when they were a predator? In her mind the killers had every right to do what they did for the were at the top of the food chain and everyone else was below them. They were just prey to those like her. Vixi now moved her foot very gently against rose tail as she thought of her next move after rose had made hers. She had to think very carefully about what she wanted to do next. She gave a smile as she figured out a good move that she could make. However doing that left a few of her pieces open but that was about her only option. Maybe the move would help her or maybe it would hurt her. Either way she did not really mind . “ and now its yours again.” She said as she kept rubbing rose tail very gently with her foot. See in this mood she could be loving and gentle though most never got to know that before she went and tried to kill them.

"Heh, it's alright. We can always stop by a stream if you want or you can wash up here any time. I'm not even sure who's winning here but it looks like we're about to find out." Rose took her move and one of Vixi's pieces, realizing a little late that she left herself open. Oh well it might make the game for Vixi or it might make the game for her. Rose had always suspected that Vixi could be a very gentle girl if she wanted to be, but she'd never been given that chance. She'd have it here, the dragoness would certainly see to that.

Vixi gave a slight smile as she heard what rose said. She was kind of glad that she had rose as a friend . However she kept having to fight her urges to leave and kill her host. She gave a frown now as she had another mood change . She went back to her darker mood . What if rose was doing all of this so that she could hurt her? That though kept repeating in her mind over and over again . See that was the problem with being paranoid , you never learned what it was like to completely trust someone. Now her eyes when from looking happy to getting a darker more sinister look to them. She tried her best to ignore the thoughts but found that to be hard to do. She had to wonder if rose would grow tired of her strange persona switches. If she was going to help vixi get better then she would have to get used to it that was for sure. There had been a few who had the nerve to tell vixi that she was insane due to her ever changing mood. That had ended with her telling them that they were the crazy ones as she attacked in the most vicious way she could. See vixi really hated the word insane for some reason. “ thank you madam I appreciate that. Heh yes I am sure we will .” she said now. She carefully watched the dragoness now as she made her move. She just smiled again and looked at the board was she thought about her next move. Then she moved her pieces again know that she did not make a good move. But she was not to worried about winning right now. No she actually had to wonder what the dragoness would want as a reward if she did beat her. Though that did not mean that she would lose on purpose.

"You know, I just thought of something." Rose said as she stared at the board and then across the table to Vixi. "What if we have a draw? Do we both get to make a request or neither one of us? Not that it's likely to happen but you never know." She had sensed a slight change again in her friend and wanted to direct her thoughts in a new direction, something that she might have to put some thought into. If this distraction didn't work she'd try another and another, until she was sure this worst stage passed or never really got started. Rose could handle the darker side of Vixi but she didn't want to have to, and she wouldn't be betraying or letting her down any time soon so that would hopefully leave one less thing to worry about.

Vixi gave a very slight frown as she heard what rose was saying. That was not something she had really thought about since she figured that one or the other would win. See she had never played a game where both won or anything like that She looked at the dragoness with an evil smile as she thought about her answer. She figure that if it was a draw then it would only be fair that both won right? “ well madam I think that if we were to come to a draw then we would both get to chose something. Dose that sound fair to you?” she said her tone still dark and cold. See once her moods changed it was hard for her to change them again for a bit. Though channeling the subject did help a bit. She was not going to harm rose unless she did something that upset her. She now smiled as she was still rubbing rose tail with her foot. She had to wonder what she wanted from rose if she won. Maybe she would tell her that she did not want anything or maybe she would think of something evil. In this state of mind she might just tell rose that she got hurt her if she won. Though that was not likely considering she like the dragoness so well. Still anything was possible when you were a physco killer who change moods so very often.

Rose was grinning, and glad Vixi was still showing she cared with her foot on her tail. "That sounds nice to me. Hehe, now I kind of hope we both get to win so we both get a reward." Ah but Vixi was still a puzzle, and shifted back to one of her slightly darker moods it seemed. Oh well, that would make her choice of reward all the more interesting. And if Rose won then her victory would be a little difficult to claim but she'd probably still get it. Even in her bad moods the girl was probably still an honest type, one to keep her word without question. Maybe a few complaints but she'd still keep her word. However the dragoness wasn't even sure she'd be winning this game, as she made her move and hoped it was a good one at this point. She wasn't sure what to do really, just keep playing and see what happens.

Vixi just gave a slight smile when she heard what rose said. She had to admit that it would be rather nice for both of them to win and get a reward. Though that made her once again start wondering just what the dragoness would want from her if she won. She figured that it would not be anything horrible because from what she had seen rose was not that sort of creature. No rose seemed to be a real caring and nice sort of creature. The kind of creature who would do about anything to help a friend of hers. The kind of person that under the right circumstances vixi could take advantage of her. A dark smile came to her face as that thought ran threw her mind. “ Hehe that would be rather nice madam . Though I will say this game is a lot better then the first one I played” she said with a slight laugh. Though her laugh sounded more like a dark hiss then anything else. Indeed even though vixi was prone to violent habits and terrible mood swings she did have a very deep senses of honor to her. She never lied to those around her. Whatever she said she would do she would do it no matter what. Sometimes that was a good thing and sometimes it was not depending on what she was doing at the time.

Whatever rose wanted from her if she won vixi would do for her unless it was something that she was against or something like that. Mostly she would just growl and do whatever rose wanted that was all. She now watched rose carefuly as she made her next move now. This was going to make the con have to think very carefully about her move. After rose was done vixi frowned obviously think a bit about wheat she wanted to do next. There was not really much she could do do right now. Oh well she was still going to try to play. After a few seconds she found a piece that she could move. Now all she had to do was wait and see what the dragoness would do next.

"Hehe, well I'm not trying to hit you with the board and not looking to be hit with it either. I'd rather have a nice civil game and either win or lose, it feels better I think, to know if you have the victory without cheating or taking a loss without lashing out at someone." And as much as a draw would be nice, and as much as she'd love to win, what she saw on the board was Vixi only one or two moves away from winning. And she really had nothing nearby to cover it, either she had to distract her from a win, or get her own in that time. Probably not going to happen but she was going to try with her next move. Of course she heard the hissing laugh but Rose wasn't the least bit put off by it, she just accepted it as another aspect of Vixi and how she'd behave on a regular basis for a while.
