"Nothing to worry about, come on in. Just don't lean against anything on that back wall over there. Hmm, so what happened that you're bringing someone here Blake?"

It took the dragon a few minutes to fully explain the problem and what he wanted Athos to do. "Come on I know you've got cameras all over the place, one or two of them had to see something useful. And I don't want to have to go to plan B unless it's absolutely necessary okay?"

Icey stood quietly in the room now. She took just a few seconds to look the place over. She then heard the snake speak and gave a nod to his words. She then quietly listened as the dragon spoke to the snake. He was explaining what had happened and why she was here with him. She was actually kind of glad that the dragon seemed to be so very willing to help prove that she was innocent. Most would not even bother to do something like that. They would just automatically assume that she was the one that did it and just leave it at that. In fact she had seen it happen a few times in her old school. At least this one seemed to be a bit better then that. She was used to have to go to all of those richly boarding schools that had a lot of stuck up creatures there. So far that was the case with this one. She was really not sure what to say in the current conversation. So she just quietly listened and hoped that they would find something that could help. She really was not hip on having to go and be locked up in the dugongs. It just was not natural for a bird like herself to be in a cage for any long amount of time.

"Right, well, in two minutes I'll have the video up and prove your innocence Icey. You've still got a bit of paint on your glove there by the way, can wash it off over there at that little sink. I know it's not much but this place is kind of crowded with security tools. Two hundred cameras all sending info over here and a few computers all saving every hour of video, now let's see... the astronomy tower's on this system, camera number eighty six I think... yes, here we go. Now let's start rolling it back shall we?" At least Athos knew what he was doing. And the snake was rather thankful that Blake picked the best spot in the room to be standing, the spot that right behind him happened to conceal a hidden panel that gave the snake access to all of his security tools. Pepper spray, stun baton, and stun gun, "zip strips" also known as plastic handcuffs, normal handcuffs, and that was just the "friendly" stuff he used.

Icey gave a slight smile when she heard the snakes words now. She was really happy that they could prove her innocence. Now everything should be fine unless of course they told her parents about what happened for some reason.. That would result in them putting icey in a safer school. That was what they did to try to protect icey form the bad things that happened in this world. Then when he told her that she had paint on her gloves still she had to glance down at her hands briefly. Wow this guy really paid a lot of attention considering that icey had her hands at her side before he had said anything about them. No wonder her worker as a security guard. “ Ahh that’s good to know. Oh I do ? Okay thank you. Heh well as long as it serves its purpose it alright. Oh wow.” she said. She then carefully made her way over to the sink. She took her glove off to wash the paint off of them. Of course paint was very hard to get off of fabric. After she had most of it off she made sure to get most of the extra water off so that she did not get the floor wet. Knowing that it would be hard to get wet gloves on she just held them in her hand for the moment. Now they could see what she hide beneath her gloves. Long sharp nails that were painted light blue today. Why did she paint her nails? Just incase she had to reveal them. As her mother had taught her. You must always look your best. She would not really have been surprised if she had seen all of his security items on the wall. After all when you worked in certain areas it only made since that you had tools for every job. At least she would think you would anyhow.

Athos was able to pull up the video pretty quickly, but he was running something else on his computer at the same time. He wanted to know more about the student that was currently in his hidden office and was doing a background check. Just in case she wasn't guilty on this charge but was on something else, or had any sort of record that might not have been so evident. He nodded to Blake to come and look at something, on his screen he had Icey's family and highlighted the record of the sister. It could be a problem later on, but as he was about to mention something the tape was showing what they needed. "Yep, definitely wasn't you. Now we just have to run those kids through the system and see who they come up as. Shouldn't be too hard for the one, aren't many dragons, fewer males, and we know most of them. We'll look for the other two as well but chances are if we find one the others won't be too far behind."

Icey was quietly waiting for the snake to get the video up. She was kind of happy about just how fast he was able to get the video up. She did not know that he was doing a background check on her though. If she did know she would not have really blamed him for it. After all one had to make sure that she was not going to do anything bad right? She kind of frowned when he had the dragon to come and look at something on his computer. Now she had to wonder what they had found. As she started to ponder that thought she heard the snake say something. She gave a slight smile to his statement feeling relived at that. Now maybe they would catch the real criminals here. And hopefully she would not get involved with any more trouble. “ ahh okay that is good to hear. I certainly hope that you can find them.” she said with a slight smile. If she had known that they had been looking at her sister record she would have been very uncomfortable. She did not know very much about her older sister. Everything she knew was from listing in on her parents conversations and what they had decided to tell her after she had asked. She knew that her sister was a bad person and was supposed to be in jail.She knew that she was also said to have a very nasy temper. and that she was very prone to violent rages form what her parents said. That was all she knew save for the rumors that she has escaped from there. Her parents did their best to keep her from knowing about her sister so that she would not be like her. Though icey would never do anything that would upset anyone at least not on purpose.

"Hey... Icey, you're the only one from your family in the area right? Or at least the only one at the school?" Athos didn't know how to make his question sound any less obvious. There weren't exactly many like her in the area, sure plenty of avians but not many were her specific breed. And he wasn't sure but he thought he recognized someone kind of like her on one of the old security tapes, somewhere in the woods possibly. Now if it wasn't her he'd have to run through the computers again, hope it was another student, or they might have a problem on their hands. But he didn't want to outright say that to her.

"You're free to go at any time if you want Icey, we can probably finish things up here. Just in case we can always escort you to your next class or your room if you're worried about those three, and thankfully we won't be needing to go to the backup plan."

Icey now listened as she heard the snake ask his rather odd question now. She took a few seconds to think of how she should respond to his strange question. As far as she knew she was the only one of her family that was here. She did not know that her sister had been stalking around here. If she had she would have freaked out and tried to con the headmaster in to letting her go home. Icey heard stories from her mom and dad about how crazy her sister was. She did not ever want to know if the rumors were true. And if she was here that meant that her sister has gotten out of jail somehow. She now looked to athos and smiled very slightly. “ well as far as know I am. I mean my parts live quiet a ways off with my little bother and my big sister ……. Well I don’t really know her that well. “ icey said with a slight frown. She was not very keen on saying much about vixi when she did not know her very well. After all she was afraid of her slightly. She then looked to Blake when he spoke and gave him a smile. She was not really afraid of the males who framed her. If they wanted to try to start something with her then she could just try to ignore them. “ okay. Thank you very much for clearing all this up for me. I am very glad that we do not have to do the back up plan.” icey said with a slight smile.

"So are we. And I was just curious about the family, didn't know if you'd have someone around to support you if something like this happened again and we didn't have such strong evidence in your defense. Or if there were family members you might not want to hear about something that were in the area, so we could try to keep it quiet. Hopefully something like this never happens again but it's always best to be prepared for the worst case scenario in our line of work."

The female secretary bird could understand why they would want to know certain things about her. She also knew that it would be good to have others around who would support her. Though she did not know it that older sister of hers was around the school. It was just that her sister would never do anything to help her. Unless icey wanted her to help her did that is. That was the reason icey parents tried to keep her away from her sister. She now looked to the snake and the dragon with a slight smile. She supposed that it was time for her to be getting out of their way so that they could do their jobs. She now knew though that they did have some very good security here . “ ahh okay. Yeah it is probably best that they do not know about any of this really. See if there is any trouble started where I go to school and they hear of it they tend to switch me to a school that they think is safer and all of that. Heh yeah I certainly hope it don’t .” icey said with a smile now.

"We'll be sure not to let anything about this slip if we can. I'm sure the headmaster will approve of keeping up appearances anyway, heh." Athos was going to keep an eye on her just to be sure once she left the security office. He'd be looking for the vandals too but first he had to check the hallway outside was clear... yep, nobody around. "Blake, if you'd like to show her out now you can." Next he'd be watching her for a while on the cameras while trying to pick out the three problem students, and send Blake to drag them all in for discipline. And as a final project for the day, see if he could figure out anything about Icey's sister and where she might be at the moment.

Icey gave a smile to the snake when he said that they would not let anything slip about this to anyone. Knowing that would certainly put her mind at ease. She was really sure that she would be okay while she was walking back to her dorm . After all icey was not exactly helpless. However she did appreciate their concern for her that was for sure. “okay . Thank you very much.” she said softly to the snake as the dragon showed her the way out. She then smiled softly back to black as she made her way out so that they could do their jobs and all of that. Once she was outside she gave a small look around and just sighed. She then slowly made her way down to her dorm . She was going to try to avoid getting in to any more trouble today. Maybe she would take a walk outside or something. As far as where he sister was the snake may be shocked to find that she was near the school. After all it was vixis goal to harm her sister as payback for her parents mistreating her. Though for the moment icey was unaware of any of that.

Meanwhile now that Icey was out of the office Athos showed Blake one of his suspicious images he'd come across. It could be passed off as Icey, or someone else somewhat like her, but the angle was bad and it was only there for a moment. "Remind me to go and cut that branch blocking half the camera angle. Now, as important as getting those vandals is, they can wait a little while. This image is recent, and I'm pretty sure she couldn't be in two places at once so it would be really tight for her to have been out there and then at the tower. Go take a few quick loops around the grounds, if you can spot her from the air all the better. I'll keep working here and get Drake to get off his lazy tail to deal with the vandals."

"Gotta admit a possible killer on the loose is a little more pressing than a few vandals. Alright, I'm on my way. If this turns out to be nothing though, you owe me a dinner at Crimson's."

Icey continued to make her way down to her dorm. She was feeling very relieved that they had gotten her little problem all cleared up for her. Little did she know that soon she would have a more sinister problem to have to deal with. She just knew that she was going to do something to try to clear her mind of her trouble for a few moments. She was also not aware that the dragon had gone outside looking for some one other wise she would have never went outside. No for now she was busy getting some dry gloves and her flute. She had decide that today would be a good day to just get away from the school after all that had just happened. So she slowly made her way down the halls smiling to a few females as she passed them. She then came to large doors that lead outside. Then she opened them and walked outside.

She began to walk to a quiet place where she could play her flute without bothering anyone. That was when she saw something moving in the bushes that lined the edge of the school. She frowned slightly as she moved closer to the sound. That was when icey saw a female walking threw the woods. Slowly icey walked to the very edge of the woods so that she could get a better look at the woman before her. What was this female doing out in the woods anyhow? Was she lost? Before icey could say anything the female saw her a gave a frown. All icey could do was stand there as she waited to see what the woman would do next. After all she was not sure who she was even though she look very familiar to her. Oh she was in more trouble now that was for sure. So much for trying to relax for a bit.



There was another making her way threw the woods. She had been around here for a little while now hiding from the law and of course killing or at least scaring everyone around her . Today though was a little different . She was simple gathering a few things to take back to her lair that she had set up deep in the forest. After all you could not really live in the woods when you were low on food and water. As she was returning from her outing she had decided to take a detoured by the school before disappearing in the woods. She could not resist her more predatory instincts at the moment. She had no idea that they had cameras set up in the woods near the school. If she had know that she would have never come near the place. For now the female watched a few stray students walk around the edge of the school as if they did not have a care in the woods. They did not know that on any given day she could take them in to the woods never to be found again. An evil smile came to her face as she thought about that. Oh how she loved to hurt those who were around her. She was the kind of monster who found it to be very pleasurable to scare and hurt others when ever she could.

She now gave a slight smile as she saw a young female secretary bird walking closer to the edge of the woods where she was walking and hunting for victims. Well looked like that her victim had picked her this time. So the sick mined female took a few steps back away from the edge so that no one would see her take her victim in to the woods. After all she did not want to be caught just yet. She then smiled when the girl walked a bit closer to her and stopped in her tracks. As vixi glared at her she found that the female looked almost like a young version of herself. Save for the fact that vixi looked more male the female. She walked closer to her now and gave a dark smile walking up to her now. “ do not scream or run. If you do I will kill you understand? “ vixi hissed to the female as she pulled out her gun and pressed it to her chest now.

The black dragon didn't normally go out on patrol flights armed but this was a special circumstance. though in this case being armed wasn't really anything big, a stun gun and his radio aside from his own immense build and muscles. He started out a fair distance down the way, circling in toward the school instead of out away from it. Maybe this wasn't the best strategy but he was using it mainly due to where the last camera sighting Athos had came from. If she wasn't within a certain range then he didn't have to worry too much, if she was then he'd run across her sooner or later, and in this case the later was probably more likely. He finally came down to the ground about fifty yards deep into the forest and started making a straight line for the school, waiting for any possible information from Athos.
