Vixi gave a smiled as she noticed that the boy was keeping up with her so far. She was trying to figure out what made her so interesting to this kid. She knew for a fact that she was not all that pretty and she was not rich. Heck the kid did not even know her name and had only met her a few minutes ago. By she really had never asked anyone to go to lunch with her either. Though that was only so she did not look like she was trying to hide something from them. Vixi was actually very paranoid about others around her. She tended to think that they were all out to get her one way or another. Even now she was sure to watch the boy as he walked behind her so that he would not try to stab her or something. That was how one learned to think when they had been in prison and on the run. That was the reason that no one could bring vixi into jail. And the fact that vixi could run very fast for long periods of time with out stopping or slowing down. Part of that was her breed and the other part of that was the fact that she had trained her self to do this so that she would never be caught again. One year in prison was more then enough for her.



She could hear them talking to themselves behind her now. She just smiled as she listened to them. Oh this guy could not like her that much already. Though she figured that he only liked her because she was female and he might have a chance to get in her pants . Males bleh . she did wish to find a lover one day but not right now . Right now she just wanted those around her to suffer for her bad home life. She hated her sister and parents for various reasons. That was the reason she had came here anyhow. To find her sister. But that was not an easy task for her to do considering how many went to the school. Oh but she would find her one day and then she would probably kill her. She smiled when she heard the heavy foot steps of the hydra as he ran to get ahead of her. Hehe well he was really trying to impress her. Suppose she could act like she was just that. Not like she would have to do anything else with him. “ thank you dear.” she said with a sight smile. She smiled as sweetly as she could waiting for him to come in as well. Then she led him to a seat that was away from the other peoples. At least this place was not crowed yet. Now what would she do now. Well she could play along with the boy until she got board. She gave him another smile now. Yes vixi could be a flirt herself if she wanted to . Though she was even worse at it then the boy. Because she knew that if she did get in to a relation ship she would have to explain her odd habits and traits. And that was some thing she did not wish to have to do.

Luke started thinking about all the things that could go wrong, or could go right. She didn't seem to know much about hydras, not that many people ever did but possibly she hadn't even heard the myths about their kind. That could work for or against them if she happened to be a violent type. A nice private booth away from everyone else... ohhh Roderick must be thrilled at that. He'd see if there was anything interesting she had to say for a couple minutes before dragging out the textbooks and studying, hoping at that point Mavvy would keep Rod in check.

Roderick actually didn't know where to go from here. It was all pretty sudden, he didn't know enough about her to strike up a conversation on anything she'd like to talk about, and he didn't really know what to avoid either. "So, just out of curiosity, how is it my terrible attempts at flirting haven't turned you away from us yet?"

"Rod, that's not the best way to put it. Besides it's more polite to ask if there's anything on her mind, anything she wants to talk about, what she'd like to eat, start off with the simple things." Not that Maverick was the most adept at social situations but he didn't want to look foolish all the time especially in front of someone they just met.

Vixi smiled slightly as they sat down at the table. To tell the truth she did not really know nothing about hydras . All she knew was that they had multiple heads and looked like dragons. And that knowledge was gained by looking this boy over. Though she had heard the name hydra before due to local gossip . That was why she knew that he must be one. The reason she had lead them away from the locals was a simple one. Vixi did not like to have others in her personal space. She could feel her murderous nature rising when ever they did. She smiled though . For the moment this boy would be safe. But let him make the wrong move and he would share the same fate as the canine had. Vixi was not a creature to toy with. She knew though that if the boy knew that he would not have gone with her. Thought vixi still could not figure out why she had asked him. Maybe he just had a charm about him. Or maybe god forbid vixi was going soft. She did not like that thought. She was a killer it was in her breed even so hoe could she even think that she could ever be kind to anyone without some kind of motive. She now just tried to force those thoughts out of her head and focuses on the situation at hand.


Vixi now smiled as she heard him speak again. Well that was an odd sort of question for him to ask her. And what was more was that it compeered her earlier assumption . Then she heard the other tell him that it was not the best way to put. Heh that was an understatement . The middle head seemed to be the smart guy of the bunch. Well that was nice for her to know. however vixi was in a rather good mood and just smiled back and said. “ hehehe well I have seen worse dear. When you get my age things like that do not bother you so much.” she smiled now rub her patched eye slightly . the scar that was left by an injury she had was itching her. But she knew that it would not be wise to scratch it with those claws of hers. Oh well maybe it would not bother her too much. If it did she could always take the patch off she supposed.

"Your age?" Maverick managed to bring a hand up to mute Roderick before he could finish the cheezy compliment or make a huge mistake. "Lucky for us then. I'll try to keep him from asking too many stupid or awkward questions though, don't want to wear on your patience too much."

Luke took out one of the books he needed to study, setting it off to the side of the table and starting to read. He was kind of surprised there hadn't been a waiter over yet, maybe they knew to avoid the girl? "Maybe we should start this lunch with proper introductions. I'm Luke, middle head's Maverick, right head over there's Roderick."

"And who do we have the pleasure of saying we met today? Aside from... er... ok, they're right, I should probably hold off on flirting attempts until I at least have a name to work with."

Vixi kind of smiled at the boy trying to keep the other from insulting her. Though if he did vixi would not have said much. Right now she was happy just learning about the boy. He was a very interesting creature to say the least. She now smiled to the middle head as he spoke. “ hehe yes it is. Alright that sounds good to me though I try not to get mad at others.” of course that statement was a lie. Vixi always had a reason to be upset at someone else. Vixi the turned to the left head who spoke next. It seemed to her like they were trying to help their brother learn to talk with her. It also seemed that neither of them really knew how. She did not expect much though from a kid like him. “ it is a pause to know your names.” vixi said. Though she had to try to remember just who was who. Then she turned to the other head who asked what her name was. She wondered if she should tell them the truth or lie to them. She deicide that in this case it would not really hurt her to tell the truth . “ hehehe . Well I am vixi . Humm probably better,” she said with a smile. She was kind of glade that he had stopped for a few seconds. He was starting to make her feel odd because she knew that she was not that pretty.Vixi herself was starting to wonder why a waited had not come by yet. Though just as she thought this the waitress came up to the table.


“ sorry for the wait had a little spill in the back. Hehe are you some menus and what may I get you to drink? “ she asked with a smile



Vixi smiled to her and said “just water for me thanks” she noted the odd look the waitress gave them. Was that to her or to the boy? Probably both if the truth were known. She the smiled and waited for the boy to respond. Hopefully he would not think much about her just wanting water as a drink. Vixi did not like the taste of sodas and things like that. She lived in the woods and was used to drinking nothing but water for the most part.

Maverick turned to the waitress with a smile as Rod kept staring in Vixi's direction and Luke continued reading. "Water's fine for us too for now." He caught some of the looks they were getting and shrugged a little. "We only need one glass, we might have three heads but there's still only two arms." He said it with a smile so she wouldn't take offense, and she seemed relieved to have an answer without asking a question. She left the menus and hurried off to get the water, which shouldn't take long.

"Vixi, nice name. We're kind of easy to remember who's who. If you have any trouble or forget, and it happens a lot to us, just look where we are. Right head, me, Roderick. Left head Luke, Middle is Maverick. Names starting with our position, had a few teachers that used to have enough trouble they just started using L R and M instead of names."

"Wow, you actually managed to get a few sentences out without some cheap flirt, you're learning Rod. Must be some kind of record."

"If you weren't all the way over there Luke I'd try to throw a punch at you for that. Let's try not to argue too much when we're with company."

Vixi rubbed her claws against her leg slightly. She could feel them cutting the metrical slightly as she moved them. Yes those were still sharp as her knife with hung at her said and just as deadly vas the gun that was on the other side She was kind of starting to like this kid . Though that could be due to the fact that she found him slightly entraining for now. You see that was a good thing when you were around vixi. You wanted her to have some sort of interest in you. Because if she ever got board of you that was when she killed you. Unless you she was just in the mood to kill or you upset her. She glanced around briefly noticing that the place was starting to fill up more. Of that was just great. Vixi hated crowds. Though in this sort of setting it was something she expected to happed. Heck this day was taking a very odd turn. Though vixi was not really sure rather it was for better or worse. She smiled slightly when the boy order water as well . Hum maybe not all young kids liked soda . She certainly did not that was for sure. He also answer a question that had popped in vixis mind. Rather or not each head need a glass. Well at least that was answer for her. And what was ever better was that the waitress seemed to have giving him that same look. Vixi then had another thought poop in her. She hoped that these fools did not think that she was together with this boy. She forced that thought away as soon as it enter though. She was just being kinds and to hell with what these fools thought about that. She could do nice things and kill others . That way she had a good cover up story.




She smiled as she heard him speak again now. Humm well that would help her remember a bit better. She certainly would have never thought of it that way. Though vixi otter did not think about things. More or less she just reacted to them. She the heart the left head lucke as he said his name was make a remark at his bother. Then she heard him threaten to hit him then say that the should not fight. Oh vixi really did not want them to do that around her. Humm but she expect such a thing from bothers. She smiled slightly to them. “ hehe thanks. That dose make it much easier to remember.” she said with a smile. This was certainly one of the odder creature vixi had met. He was a face she would not forget any time soon.

Oh what to order without looking like a cheapskate or like he was using her money to eat well? Hmm, there was a decent option, not too heavily priced, good food, pretty common in most places but hey why not? At least he'd be prepared when the waitress managed to get back to them. With more people filtering their way into the little restaurant she was probably going to be overwhelmed by them all at once, he could understand it but Rod didn't know which way to steer the conversation until then. "I guess if you currently live in the woods then you're probably pretty good at taking care of yourself. Survival instinct and all that?"

Maverick gave a mental sigh. If she was a less than pleasant person as he and Luke initially suspected that wasn't the right way to be moving the conversation. Too late to stop him or take it back now though, so he listened eagerly and tried not to look like he was watching for any subtle movements that might mean trouble. He heard a story once where someone was killed in a corner booth like this and nobody found out until much later, the person had been stabbed and passed off as napping until the check came and the server found him dead. The attacker long since departing the "sleeping" victim... good thing they were on opposite sides of the table for now right?"

Vixi smiled as she looked at the menu now. She had to whisper the words as she read them. The reason for this was that vixi could not read very well. However she could read enough to know what certain things were. And right now she knew what she would eat today. Something light and not to greasy. That was about her thing she did not like. She frowned abit noticing the amount of people. She however could keep herself calm for the moment. After al it was not like they knew what she did. And of they did say anything she could get away just as easy as she had many times before. She was not stupid though. Vixi was not going to try to kill the boy in the middle of a crowed restaurant. She would be too afraid that she would be caught by someone before she could get out. Besides that she often wanted to torment her victims before she killed them.

She looked at the boy when he asked his question. Humm well that was not a question that she would have expected . However it was not one that she did not expect though. She could live in the woods for a long time with out much if she had to. Vixi did like to have things from town where she did not have to hunt for her food. Though if it came down to it that would satisfy her more murderous nature. “ yes I am. Hehe when you live in the woods you learn how to live like the local wild life in a way.” she said a slightly darker tone hinting at her voice now. Vixi was not ashamed to admit that she lived that sort of life. Though the way she said it probably bothered him slightly. But vixi really did not care if it did or not. She now glanced at the waitress who had just came back with their water.


“ here you go . Are you ready to order or do you need a few more minutes?” she asked with a smile

Vixi would wait for the boy to answer before she did. That was merely because she was actually being nice to day. Hum maybe she was getting soft . She could try not to though. She rather liked being the killing kind and did not really want that to change anytime soon.

Phew, perfect timing for the waitress. "Yes I'd like the chicken strips with a side salad please." Rod needed a moment to sort through what she just said. It made sense but then again most of the time you'd associate a male figure with the whole acting more like an animal mindset. She was definitely an independant type of person though, so it wasn't that hard to believe. But if she was a wild person she wouldn't be in town, there was probably a lot more to her than meets the eye.

"Nothing for either of us thanks." Maverick wasn't surprised by her comment but the way she said it put him back on guard a little. And just when he'd been starting to warm up to her and figure she wasn't as bad as they first thought. She could definitely take care of herself but he started to wonder a bit about that eye, injured in the woods or in town? Was it the reason she was out there instead of here with everybody else, she didn't trust society as much anymore? Or maybe it was just something else entirely and he shouldn't put any stock in it.

Luke had a pretty good idea as he was listening to everything what kind of picture to paint of her. She was likely the kind that if you didn't mean anything to her, didn't catch her interest, you were just like one of the animals out in the wild. You were expendable, you could be entertaining or you could be a pain, you could be a lapdog if trained or you could be the stray creature that needed to be dealt with before it closed in and attacked. And she didn't seem the kind to train a lapdog either, but he was focusing on the book and pretending he didn't notice anything else going on right now. If he was right she was still dangerous, but she'd be even more so if any of them made mention of it.

Vixi gave a slight smile to the waitress and said “ uh I just have the Caesar salad” T the waitress smiled back and went off to put in their orders. Vixi was aware of the fact that what she said could have been worded better. However she did not really think about that at the time. At least she had a second to think now. This kid wasp of no use to her but yet she had not killed him. She could not figure out why that was . Oh sure there were cops around but vixi could get away from them. Hum maybe she just liked him or something. Though the boy was not stupid she could see that. Though he took what she said too literal. She meant that one knew just where to go , what to kill, what to avoid and things like that when the lived in the woods. Oh well he could think of her however he wished. Others did that all the time. No one dared to try to befriend her. Maybe that was because of the way she acted though. She could feel her claws starting to cut in to her leg now. Though the action did not hurt she knew that she should stop or it soon would. That made her move them so that they did not make her bleed. Vixi had a habit of gripping her claws when she was not comfortable or when she was thinking. That was why she tried not to were thin pants a lot.



Vixi listened to the people around her as she pondered rather she should say anything or not. Probably best to just keep quiet for the moment. She mover her wings slightly were they were more comfortable. She could nay help but wonder what he was thinking about. Well it had better not be anything that he would regret. Because vixi was just crazy enough to shoot him and run if he did. After all he was not nothing to her right now. She did not keep victims for long amounts of time. She did not get a rush from that. However if she found that she liked some one she would say that she did. That way she would not have it on her mind . As twisted as she was though if ever she did find someone she truly trust she would want them never to near her so that they could not try to turn her in or she would not just up and kill them.. vixi could never bring herself to trust others after being betrayed by her parents. Even if she did kill someone they should not have called the cops in her mind. If the boy were to ask about her injury she would merely say that it was just an old injury from a fight. Really that was close to the truth. It was from a guard at the prison she had escaped from. He had tried to catch her but instead got killed. That was how she had gotten her weapons in the first place. She lived in the wood for the mere fact that no one would ever go there looking for her. Actually no one would really go there at all . That thought alone made her confident that she was safe out there in the woods.

"So uh, after lunch, did you have anything planned or just making things up as you go along?" It was a fair question, maybe not the best one to be asking right now especially if he knew what was on her mind, but it would help Rod steer the conversation accordingly. Of course their own plans had to be getting back to school but maybe she'd want to walk with them, or maybe she just wanted to have lunch and leave.

Maverick had a few questions of his own in mind for her, but he figured one at a time was probably best. Try not to overwhelm her with too many things to think about and answer at once, one conversation instead of two or three. However Rod's question put another possible negative thought in his head. Maybe she was the kind who would try to dine and dash instead of paying for the food. But why would she invite someone along if that was her plan to begin with? Maybe make it easier to shift the blame if she got caught?

Vixi took a second to think about the boy question. She did not really wish to tell him where she would be going. She did not want to run the risk of him following her for one reason or another. However he did say that he was going back to school pretty quick. So really he could not follow her to far unless he wanted to sleep outside or something right? Not that there was anything wrong with sleeping in the woods. Heck she done it all the time. It was a welcome change from sleeping in the bed of a prison hopping you would not be the next to be tormented or killed or a little of both. That in her mind was a horrid fate to have to endure. Maybe she would just tell him part of what she was doing and leave it at that. Though she got the idea that even with her bad attitude the kid wanted to learn about her. Well he had a lot to learn about those like her that was for sure. For now though he was doing a good job of not making her mad so that was a pulse. “ hehe not really. I am just pretty well just doing nothing at all today. You know doing something besides the same old thing. “ she said simplify. She really did not see what the kids interest in her was. Maybe they found an interest in her because she did not judge them. The only reason for that was that she was used to being judge her self. She would play along with this one for a while until he did something she did not like. Then she would either leave him or kill him. And it would probably be leave him for now and kill him latter. That way he would not be expecting her attack. Yes that maybe what she would do


. If the boy were to ask her more then one question at once vixi would try to keep up with him as she had before. She would just take that as another challenge of sorts. Vixi always love a challenge. Though the real challenge for her was find the perfect victim to stalk and kill. Or hiding her true self around strangers as she was doing now. Witch really was not all that hard for her to do for she had done it many times before. It always serves on well to distract their prey then attack it. Unlike most cons she was not stupid nor was she that impulsive. though there were exceptions as with all things. Even those who claim never to get mad get upset at certain things. Even those who never frowned would eventually break down and cry And vixi was not exception. The only difference was that she knew just how to use her anger to her advantage . She was very smart most of the time and knew just how to plan her attacks out just so perfectly at least in her mind they were perfect. In fact in her mind any plan she had was perfect and those who tried to say otherwise were eliminated . That way she would not have problems in the future. As far as paying for the meal went when vixi said that she would do something she would do it. She was a woman of her word at times. She was a con but even cons had morals. Or at least she still did some times. Perhaps this is why most cops could never catch her even if the saw her. She was too good at acting like she was just another citizen of the town.

"Oh, alright. Well, after lunch we really should be getting back to the school but if you happen to be heading that way we could walk together for a bit or something. Heheh, unless you get bored of us between now and then." Or too frustrated, but hopefully neither would be the case. Rod just wanted to hang out with a pretty face for a while, feel like he was getting somewhere even though he knew he wasn't.

Considering how poorly some of their trips to the school had gone it might be a bad idea to invite someone else along and invite them right into disaster. Maverick swore if they had another problem going to and from the school on that path they'd start taking a bus every time even if it would get expensive quick. Oddly enough out of the three of them he seemed to be the most wired to any sort of pain their body felt. Possibly some sort of hydra defense mechanism to have one head suffer all the pain and distraction so the other two could still think and act clearly. Better than all three being distracted right?

"That might not be a bad idea if you are heading that way at some point, though I wouldn't know why you would be going toward the school... no offense. You could show us the worst places to stop and rest and the areas to rush through a little more instead of taking our time in. Since you know the woods and all right?"

Vixi gave a slight smiled as she heard what the boy said now. The part of the woods she lived in was near the school. Though vixi would not really want him to know that. That would make her look like a stalker. Though she could not blame him for thinking that though. Heck he probably though she was a bad person anyhow . Though he was also right to think that. Vixi was here only for revenge on her family. So she stayed near the school so she could watch for her sister .Strangely vixi had a lot of placentas for an impulsive killer. That came from the fact that she liked to stalk certain victims. Maybe she could have some fun with this one that way. She could always return to town to get what she needed latter. She could tell that this boy was trying to trust her or at least act like he did. Sadly that would be a very bad mistake. Vixi liked to hurt those who trusted her. Why because the always wanted to hurt her in one way or another. Vixi figured that she might as well be the one who did the hurting so that she could get some pleasure out of the deal. That was why she hurt others anyhow. Because it brought her pleasure in a sick sort of way.


She now looked at the boy thinking carefully about her response. “ okay. Well I could walk with you a little ways until we get near the woods” she said to the head who spoke first. Then she turned to the other head with a smile and said. The woods where I live are in the same direction as the school. The reason I know this is that I see students walking threw from time to time. hehe , but yes I could do that for you if you want me to” she said this in a neutral sort of tone. She felt that she needed to explain just a little bit. She would not tell him that she was that close to the school so that she could find easy victims. That was something he did not need to know . Vixi was used to wondering threw the woods watching for anything that might try to get her. And if some animal did want to fight her she would kill it just like any other victim. Though with someone with her that might be hard to do. Though maybe he could understand self defense if that kind of thing were to happen. Though she hoped that something like that would never happen to with or without company. Above anything else vixi did not whis to get hurt like that.
