Long leisurely walks through the wilderness and on the trails where few wandered, the way Verdy enjoyed relaxing. The relative privacy of these paths was what he enjoyed the most, if someone didn't know the trails existed they never came on these routes, heck even the local wildlife didn't use them too often. Basically, everyone that did come out here the green dragon knew... and most of them had left the area. So he could enjoy the privacy, dress any way he wanted, no wildlife to worry about, even a stream that crossed his current route twice that was crystal clear and free of any problems.
Today it was a pair of tight sweatpants and a blue short sleeve shirt, a bounce in his step and even whistling now and then. He was wearing what he considered a utility belt, really all it had was a flask, flashlight, and a few bandages hanging off it or in little pockets. The flask was one of his other reasons to be out here, certain people he cared about didn't exactly approve of him drinking anything alcoholic... so he snuck out to his favorite trail with a bit of wine in the container and sat down on a nice mossy rock by the stream. Splashing his paws in the water lazily, leaning back, sipping his drink and savoring the chance to enjoy something intoxicating. Not much could make this day better. Beautiful weather, surprisingly warm but not unpleasantly so, just a little bit of a breeze, everything just the way he wanted it. Now if only he had a friend to share it with, someone he used to know and that would have been great to see out here.

Too what do I owe this pleasure. Rashik though as he wandered what he had claimed as "his" woods. He had been out for a pleasurable walk threw the thorns and to possibly find a straying student he could play with, when he had come upon the familiar scent of his favorite dragon. He remembered well the fun he had, had with the dragon when he had first encountered him and the thought made him salivate in anticipation of what a second encounter could lead too for the two.
With out hesitation Rashik altered his previous course to stalk the scent of a new prey and not far off of his original course did he come upon the sight of his favorite green dragon sitting, unaware of him, on a mossy rock. A dark smile, full of tooth, spread across his scared face. Now you would have thought he, wouldn't have come back after the last encounter we had. Most wouldn't have. and with that one thought Rashik's mood turned from his twisted happy mood to a dark confusion that didn't sit well with him. He had actually been getting ready to move on to a new town because he had released the dragon from his clutches alive.

The green dragon bore a great many scars hidden under his clothing. Some from a hybrid named Krynn, some from a hybrid named Rashik, a few from a dragon, a few from a true dragon... mostly accidental he figured but wasn't going to focus on, and scars from his old days at a previous school. Broken bones... had his fair share of those in the past too. Nothing really slowed him down, in fact he was kind of happy about all the scars and injuries. When Krynn had been doing a number on him it included biting off part of his tail, yet it grew back longer, stronger, more flexible... and he thought sexier than it had been before.
Verdy's tail curled around the rock, flexing, twitching the tip lazily, another sip of his drink before he finally felt like someone might be watching him. He stretched out a bit, standing up and smiling to himself. Well, if he was being followed or watched that was fine by him. He got up, stretched, and started walking along the path a little more. Up ahead it got a little more shady, more private, and if someone were following him that was likely the place he'd be "ambushed" at. Lot less of an ambush when he was expecting someone to try and sneak up on him though. Tail swishing back and forth, flexing his mostly blunt claws with every stride into the soft earth, making his trail perfectly visible.
It wasn't like he walked into trouble on purpose, but he was getting so incredibly used to trouble finding him not much surprised Verdy. Every time he'd come out alive... scratched and beaten, sometimes quite thrilled for stupid reasons, but still alive. Let the follower meet him there, he'd greet it, him, or her with a smile. Maybe offer a little drink, say hello, and hope once again he came out alive. He still wasn't a good fighter so hoping was all he could do usually. Maybe the wind would shift and he'd get an idea of who it was, or just enjoy the surprise.

Another soft breeze blew the dragons scent along with the faint smell of the alcohol he had been drinking towards Rashik's sensitive nose, the smell gave him a little more insight into why the dragon was out here but not much. Rashiks emotions started to battle each other the longer he watched his prey relax and drink alone. His confusion was the only thing stopping him from what his body wanted to do to the created He once held captive.
Agitation built in Rashik the longer he did nothing and just watched the Verdy. His tail twitched and he began clenching and unclenching his clawed hands, unconsciously and almost silently. All of a sudden though Rashik froze, much like a deer would in head lights, when his prey stood and started down the path a little farther. His dark grind slowly returned as a plan formed in his head, He could have fun with the full dragon while got a few more answers as to his return.
Silently he fallowed Verdy down the path, keeping behind the trees and bushes enough not to be seen. Occasionally he would climb a tree and fallow from above, finessing his plan.

Yep, definitely being followed. And he definitely didn't mind the fact. It had to be someone, an animal would have come after him by now. The green dragon smiled to himself as he drew closer and closer to the "perfect ambush" location, fifty yards away as he slowed his pace. If the stalker wanted to get there ahead of him this was almost an open invitation to do so. He heard leaves and branches rustling once or twice, more than the breeze would allow. He couldn't smell any actual scent but the feeling, the scent of a hunt, it was definitely in the air.
Why didn't he carry any weapons? Quite simply he figured they'd get taken from him in a scuffle and used against him. No point in bringing a knife to a gun fight, or a gun to a wrestling match either. Hell he couldn't shoot one of those properly even if it were to save his life or to take someone else's, he'd tried once and it was a miserable failure. No, if the stalker was friendly and just having some fun with him he'd welcome the person with open arms. If the stalker was less friendly... he'd probably have little to no choice but to welcome its assault and look for an opening to get away. He could try to fly off right now, avoid the whole situation, but where was the fun in that? And if the stalker was above him he'd get maybe five, ten feet off the ground before being mercilessly torn from the sky with a pounce or strike by the stranger.
Five yards away, the wind finally changed a little and he caught a slightly familiar scent, something just a little canine... wolf maybe... and something else. Damn he wished he could be like the other dragons just once, have super senses, strength, or be able to breathe fire. No, all he could do was apparently recover from injuries rather well. He strolled right into the perfect ambush spot, a grove of trees for maybe thirty to fifty feet, just far enough apart for two people to walk side by side with a comfortable space between them and on their sides. The branches overhead managed to form a complete little canopy, shielding him from the sunlight and limiting the light a little. It was still too early in the day for it to be a really dark spot but it was worth calling "heavily shaded" at the least. "I'm ready for you" he whispered softly, standing right in the center of the grove with nothing at his back and every possible angle for a predator to lunge at him.

Rashik easily fallowed his prey, his plan fully figured out. He knew his preys weekness's for the most part from their previous encounter and had decided to wait as long as possible before he reviled himself to the dragon. His thought's wandered in the few minuets it took for them to move from one clearing to the other. Rashik still didn't understand why other's "frowned" upon what he did. He didn't understand how others didn't find blood and pain to be as pleasurable as a release. It was exhilarating and exciting and so much more. He didn't understand how to be "gentle" with anything really.
He shook himself out of his thoughts once they reached the clearing and started to put his plan into motion. Intentionally he stepped on a stick and created a rather large snapping sound. The sound almost echoed in the silent woods and the clearing the dragon had gone too. It would seem he knew I was here before I wanted him too. The hybrid thought almost poutingly to himself.
Another step sent another sharp startling sound into the air and he let lose a deep rumbling growl. A sadistic pleasure filled Rashik at the thought of scaring his little green dragon again and even having more "fun" with him back at his cave. Weather he would make it out a second time alive he had yet to decide, it would all depend on what he got from the dragon now. He needed to know what the dragon had let out and what he had kept as a secret.

NOW he knew who it was! A thought that sent several chills down his spine, and yet at the same time managed to bring a slight smile to his face. Oh yes, he remembered now, remembered every little detail of the encounter he'd had. And the green dragon wouldn't deny it had been fun, in a very different way but still. He'd thought that predator gone, left for other hunting grounds, and now he was back... perhaps he never left, just didn't manage to run into him for a while.
Even with the smile the green dragon was trembling a little. His knees shaking, the feeling of being "prey" sinking in properly now. This was the one predator he wasn't sure if he'd survive, the others he'd been expecting were more "torture but don't kill" so they could keep using him for entertainment. Now he started looking around, searching for that hunter and wondering how much the predator remembered... if he wanted an encore, blood, food, he couldn't predict this one like the others. So why was there still that sort of thrill at knowing Rashik was back?
Because he was sort of hoping for a different greeting? Rashik, the green dragon thought if they ever ran into one another again it would be more of a sudden intimidating hug than an echoing growl. He didn't see the hybrid's expression yet, didn't know if it was a good growl or a bad one, but it was definitely scary. And if it hadn't been for that, hell, he probably would have been happy to see him and run up to give him a hug.

Watching the dragon shake slightly as the realization of just who it could be fallowing him, sent a swift burst of sadistic pleasure threw Rashik. He was once again being able to play with this dragon and the things that ran threw his mind almost sent him purring with the imagined pleasure. "I am to assume you remember me then." Rashik growled out. "it was Verdy, was it not?" Rashik made sure that his voice was loud enough and that he moved enough so that the green dragon wouldn't have been able to tell his location.
An appreciative glace over the scaled body had Rashik licking his lips."It's been a while, my pet. You've seemed to have healed well." Oh the fun they had, had. The screams of pain and the smell of blood was brought to the fore front of the hybrids mind and he wondered if he would get the answered he wanted, before attacking the young dragon.

"I remember you alright Rashik. Yeah, it's Verdy... glad you didn't forget. Yeah... healed up pretty nicely. Can't complain about it at least." Where was he? This was usually the point where someone would pop out at him and start walking toward him in the most menacing manner they could. Rashik was different though, different from all the other predators. He was also probably the only one that ripped him up a bit, had "fun" with him, ripped him up a little more, and let him go. Verdy could remember everything about that night, and the days that followed. Thankfully he'd bandaged himself up and didn't need to explain his injuries to anyone. Maybe that was something special about him, not just quick recovery but a lot of luck with not getting infections from serious injuries. Not that it was going to help if this specific hybrid wanted to just tear him apart this time.

" Hmm well that's almost to bad." Rashik commented, his voice not relieving a thing about his emotions. He found it so amusing to play with others so. It got their blood pumping with a fear induced adrenalin. It made them bleed just that much more due to their racing heart. "I would have thought that you would never have wanted to tred in these woods again after our encounter." Rashik finally asked, at least part of, about what he didn't understand.
Verdy was a conundrum for Rashik. He didn't understand the dragon very well and it made him all the more appealing to the violent hybrid.
(sorry sucky reply I know T.T)

"Yeah? Well I thought you disappeared so figured it wasn't so bad. Besides, these woods aren't yours alone you know. Heh, and I was here before you after all." Trying to put a brave face on things, and probably failing. Verdy was getting the sense he was going to get hurt, but he'd expected that no matter who came sneaking up on him. This was just a much deeper sense, the feeling that he wasn't just going to get hurt, but was going to be hurt pretty bad. Maybe one of the other "monsters" in the area would actually come to his rescue eventually, maybe one that liked him or had his or her own proper "claim" to the green dragon. Which was kind of sad that so many could actually do that... one of which was dead as far as he knew but somehow he still felt she'd try to make some sort of effort to keep him from being torn apart completely.

A harsh smirk fell across Rashik's face. So that was it, he had thought he had left, but still that doesn't answer one thing. "It doesn't matter who was first, all that matters is who is still standing at the end." Rashik barked out a sadistic laugh fallowing his harsh words. "So my little pet, just who did you tell about us?" that was the real question Rashik wanted an answer too. It would determine just how long he would be able to stay here.
Rashik Finally slowly made his entrance into the clearing, but he stayed on the very edges. He was slowly becoming tired of all of his running. He needed to rest but he couldn't do that if he was wanted in this town as well. His agitation at the unknown had his fur puffing out and standing on end while his tail twitched rapidly back and forth.

Now he was finally visible, and this time in a bit more light than the green dragon had seen him in for... well... pretty much all of their last encounter. He'd still have to admit the hybrid was kind of handsome, and scary at the same time. "Why would I tell anyone? That wasn't exactly the sort of thing I wanted to go around advertising, and much as I'd sometimes like to deny it I did have fun... kind of." He was trying not to let Rashik know how much that time had stuck with him, how well he remembered it for all its positive and all its negative things. Though he'd change a few details the green dragon wouldn't object to a repeat... too much. He had a feeling that wasn't quite what Rashik had in mind though, this felt more like the "silence him" sort of visit.

Rashik raised one lazy eyebrow at the green dragon before him and his tail twitched behind him knocking into. " For most that I have come across they would have gone to the police, even if they had enjoyed it." Rashik stated, his fur settling down a little but his agitation still showed in his twitching tail. "You are strange, Verdy and it would seem we have more in common than I originally thought." His blood red eyes gleamed with a dark lust and his tail began twitching for a whole different reason.

The green dragon listened carefully to what Rashik had to say. Short and sweet, and simple. Those words had power... a very strange power. Verdy nervously took a half step back as he considered both statements... then oddly found himself taking that same half step... forward? Closer to Rashik? His tail was swaying slowly back and forth behind him as he finally found the strength to speak again. "Really? And... and how exactly... what... what do we have in common Rashik?" Good, as long as he could still call him by name he hadn't lost his senses. He felt a strange change of mood, something from anger and hate to a more... desiring feeling? Oh... that'd almost be welcome from the other feeling, but he wasn't sure it was exactly an improvement. Verdy started watching the hybrid's eyes and his every little movement, unaware of his own as he took another sort of half step shakily toward Rashik.
