Ren burst into the loft full force, nearly breaking his leg on the way up mind you, to the office of Drake, the headmaster of this fine, or at least almost fine in Ren's mind, school.
"You people hire me as a drama instructor..." he says without waiting for a word from The headmaster. "But not only do I find there is no class for me to teach in, but there is not so much as a club! I see the other arts have a fine focus here but not Drama? Please do explain what I'm to do with no place to teach?" Ren's ears twitched, showing his anger. His hair was, uncharacteristically, frazzled in his rush all the way up the building, and lastly his frame trembled in a mix of physical exhaustion and rage.

"Ah, you must be Ren. Sorry for the inconvenience, we had a bit of a remodel last year and they tore out a few things to put in new sections of the school. You see we lost our last drama instructor, and I wasn't able to hire one until this semester when I found your application. I'll have a room ready for you to hold classes soon, the club is being re-listed, and for now I give you the full theater if you like. I'm also giving you personally one of the larger staff rooms as an apology." Drake hadn't exactly been expecting this today but he did know of the problem (for once) and had been taking steps to solve it. "I can give you a tour now if you like, but first I'd suggest taking a moment to sit down, relax, take a breather. I know flying up those steps in a rage can be exhausting." The headmaster pulled up a nice padded armchair recliner for Ren, walking over to his mini kitchen area and grabbing a glass from the cabinet. "How about a drink? Tea? Soda? Or I do have a bottle or two of wine if you'd prefer?"

Ren was surprised, he fully expected a full retaliation from the headmaster, and some of the words the headmaster used troubled his often easily troubled mind.
"uhh... What? I mean, yeah I'd love a glass of wine." The fox slumped into the chair with a sigh. He glanced at the headmaster and absorbed the appearance of the room. It looked very old and well lived in, then again, he should have expected as much, this was a castle. His hair draped over his eyes suddenly and he tipped in surprise, distracting him from his observation and from his annoyance at the situation.
"Headmaster..." Halim said, fixing his hair. "This is most likely a misunderstanding but when you say 'lost' your last drama instructor you didn't mean that in a way that would suggest he or she died, did you?" The fox was naturally inquisitive and almost always had questions, even absurd ones like the one he had just voiced.

Drake smiled, pouring a glass of wine for Ren and bringing it over to him. "Oh no no, nothing like that. A bit of a disagreement on a few subjects, one of them being discipline, another being accomodations. Apparently the previous drama instructor insisted on a plasma screen TV in his own personal room with a fridge constantly stocked at our expense rather than his. Now the fridge I could understand to an extent but then he wanted it stocked with expensive foods and beer, add that to the TV and it was getting absurd. Of course within reason I do my best to satisfy every instructor's desires but he just wouldn't settle." Drake pulled up a table to be closer for Ren to set the drink down on, standing nearby between him and the kitchen. "Anything else I can get you?"

Ren chuckled to himself, surely that was an exaggeration. He knew no person in the field of teaching theatre to be so... Well, dramatic. "and what of the discipline issue? was that student discipline or just his lack of self discipline?"
The fox took a sip of the wine, it was... Rich. He wasn't a wine person, but certain wines he did enjoy quite a bit. He would rather be taking a shot of vodka he thought to himself, remembering the city. Going out to nightclubs. He felt a pang of homesickness, although he hid that from the headmaster. There wasn't much use in telling the headmaster everything about himself at this point, so he sipped his wine, eyes closed as he enjoyed.

"Guess it was a little bit of both really. Don't sweat it, I read all your papers, I know you'll do a better job than him and I'm sure you'll love your time here with us." Drake smiled, getting a glass of wine for himself and gulping it down in one big sip. Hopefully the drama teacher wasn't as frustrated now but he was still without an official classroom. "You still look a little frazzled, anything else I can do to help you relax?" Maybe later when he got a look at his private room he'd be happy, or if giving him the school theater was enough for now. Still, he did feel like a bit of a jerk having hired someone to a position and not having everything ready when he arrived. "It should only be maybe two or three weeks before you've got your own room for classes."

"oh yeah? It's not as soon as I'd like but til then the theatre will be more thansatisfactory. Actually..." Ren scratched his chin thoughtfully. "I'd like to have the theatre every Tuesday and Thursday for my class. It would be a good Atmosphere, especially for an introductory class."
He rose from his seat and set his glass on the table, he thoughtfully peered out the window over the grounds.
"Are classes permitted to be conducted in the forest?" Ren didn't know what he would take a class into the forest for quite yet, but he'd think of something.
"Oh and I would like a tour shortly. I'm surprised I made it up here without losing my way."

"Hmm, yes, it can easily be arranged to give you the theater Tuesdays and Thursdays." Drake had to pause for a moment when he heard the second request. That could be an awkward one, but it could be arranged. "Normally I would strongly advise against classes in the forest. However I do feel as though I owe you a little extra breathing room. So, if you think you can keep track of all your students, and if you go out with a security officer or myself, it can be arranged. Sometimes the woods can be a touch dangerous, wild creatures out there that aren't exactly the most sociable. As for a tour I'm happy to oblige whenever you want one." The headmaster stood beside Ren, looking out over the school and the woods as well as dwarfing the new teacher next to him.

"hmm alright. I would prefer you accompany any class I might take out. Security will stress the students." Ren shifted slightly, away from the larger dragon subconsciously. "And I do believe now would be a good time for a tour, once I've finished my wine of course." he spun on his heels, gracefully, as one trained for theatre would. He plucked his glass from the table and brought it to his lips. He downed it in ten seconds, not too fast ad he still wanted to taste it.
"Ahh..," Ren sighed and set his glass down again. "Might we commence this tour now?"
Ren smiled and flicked one of his ears.

"I suppose that makes sense, and if it ever became necessary I could always call for assistance. Ah yes, let's begin the tour. Now we could start by walking all the way back down those steps or we could start in the gardens outside, personally I think that's the better way to begin but if we take the steps we can start with your luxury room. I'll leave that decision up to you." And if they started with the gardens it would be quite a thrill ride for the new professor, hopefully one he'd enjoy. After all how many times did you get to ride a dragon as he dove off a balcony from the highest tower in the castle? Though it would make more sense to start from his room where he'd be waking up and going to bed every day.

"the... Gardens?" Ren's right ear folded down in curiosity, he never noticed that he did that. "How would it make sense to start there?" Ren eyed the dragon's wings and thought to himself, wondering if the physics of a non-feral dragon allowed flight.
"You want to fly down there?" Ren smirked. "I've not met a dragon with wings before, the only dragon I've met was from the middle east, he had no wings. So I've no idea."
Ren had his doubts, he had never seen a dragon fly of course, and wasn't sure if the headmaster was joking or not.

"Well if you want to start from the outside of the school and go in, then it makes sense. Heh, and yes, I can fly us down there if you like. Most people say it's quite a thrill. It's your choice though, figured it'd be easier than going down those steps though, heh. So, aside from that, anything you want to discuss? I know you had quite a bit of frustration but there's bound to be more than just that on your mind. Wondering about coworkers, about the school itself, probably half a dozen other things. What the students are usually like, feel free to ask anything."

If anything was going to be thrilling in this town this would be it, thought the fox to himself. He spent a few moments thinking about it before agreeing to the idea.
"So how do we do this thing?" he asked the headmaster with an inquisitive expression. He was excited for the action, but terrified of the possible problems. He looked back outside. It was a long way down, for all he knew the dragon was simply planning suicide but didn't wanna go alone.
"that's ridiculous..." He whispered to himself, almost forgetting the headmaster was just behind him.
"I'll be fine with the students, assuming none of them try to sleep with me." he spoke when he realized he hadn't answered the question. "As for staff I'm sure I can handle being an outcast for a while."

"How do we do this? It's easy, you can climb on my back but that's really for more of a long drawn out flight. This is just a quick trip down to the ground so I can carry you. Heh, well I don't think any of the students will but you never know, and the teachers have all been in your position before so I doubt you'll be an outcast for long if at all." Drake grinned, wrapping his arms around the new teacher and leaping out from his room and spreading his wings. He made sure to have a tight grip but not crushing on his new professor, letting the wind catch his wings to start them off at a slow fall. Then he started beating his wings until they came down to a graceful and gentle landing in the center of the gardens. "How was that?"

"oh well That's-" Ren yipped when Drake picked him off of the floor. His heart stopped in the second it took for drake to leap out of the loft. Ren's jaw was clamped shut, but in his head he could hear himself screaming for his life. His nails dug into the dragons scales, he felt as if he would start to tear scales off of drake if he held any harder to him. When they had touché down Ren feebly took a few steps and then collapsed to his knees.
"Thrilling... Is an understatement." He managed to say as he felt his heart racing. That might have been the most frightening thing he'd ever experienced. A little warning would have helped a lot. "Great..." He thought to himself. "I've been hired by a mad man."
