And what a surprise!!
Normally the hybrid was able to detect the kids trying to pull a prank on her or immitate something of the fashion before they could fully pull it off. But getting dive-bombed out of nowhere was highly unexpected from others.
Taking a moment to get her breath back, Rynn had been knocked to the ground in a fashionable hugging hold on Hinata.
Good grief... what has she been feeding these kids these days?!
The poor creature thought to herself, accepting the creative gift she was being handed, smiling.
"Hehe, well hi to you too, Hinata. Oh wow, look at this. You did this all by yourself?"
It was pretty impressive to see how fast the kids were growing and exactly all that they can accomplish in just short whiles.

"Hehe, yup yup, all me. Well ok, Blake got me the materials an' stuff but I did all the hard work." Hinata let Rynn get up and admire her work more thoroughly, smiling and nudging Scarlet before hugging Crimson. In public she could be a delight, in private she was usually more of a terror. Not quite as bad as Black in a bad mood but still, a more consistent terror. Just jumping up on tables and knocking over lamps was a little beneath her now, and mom was slowly getting more interested in what other families seemed to call "punishment?" Such a strange concept to her, and mom wanted to start using it.

"Oh wow. You're gonna end up being better than your uncle Blakey before you it. You know that right?"
Rynn got up and admired the mini-bike sculpture. Perhaps she would keep the bike a little while longer. But as far as right now went, it seemed all of Crimson's girls were a bit fascinated/fixated on her antique of a bike.
"Seems like you girls are faster moving than your brothers ever will be."
She laughed jokingly. Well that was the way it seemed right now.
So far it was almost always the girls who come first. Was she really that bad to the boys?

Large ears twitching against the hood that was pulled over the creature's head. Eyes like embers glowed faintly underneath as they peered out at the others. It was Black. Not only had the hybrid not been in the room when Scarlet had come, but hadn't said anything about being ill either... Yes, a lot had changed since back then... Part of which Crimson was still in denial about too. That day at the park had gone mostly unheeded after they'd gone on their way, almost like nothing had ever been said. Still though, maybe it was for the best to let people judge on their own. As silent as a shadow, Black slowly moved towards the group and coming to a stop behind Rynn. Sharp teeth bared as a dark ash and red nose wrinkled at the scent. Damn, it'd been a while since that smell had been here. If it had been anyone else that gesture may have been taken as creepy, but Black would always be Black.. Albeit a little creepy in the first place. The crossbreed leaned forward, a surprisingly deep growl rumbling next to Rynn's ear. "Long time no see..."

Crimson was glad the little ones were behaving and seemed so happy to have Rynn back. And then she saw Black stealthing up toward her, though she only saw her maybe a few seconds before that creepy greeting she gave. "Hehe, looks like everyone missed you Rynn. Where'd you come from Black? Weren't you in your room?" She turned to Scarlet wondering if the fuzzy little hybrid would have an answer, met with a shrug.

"Eep, hehe, you can be pretty creepy sometimes Black. What ever happened to a friendly handshake and smile to say hi instead of a stalky looming over shoulder hi?" Of course she kind of already knew the answer. If any of Black's siblings would ever be understanding of her desires it would be this one, but mom never told them and she was still pretty much oblivious. She did know there was something off in Black's behavior though.

As if on a whim to change direction in which her thoughts were going, she heard someone approaching from behind. Swivelling an ear slightly, caught the scent and breath of another familiar creature.
"Hey Black.."
The hybrid slowly turned, for what was the first to physically see Black in well over two years, to see nearly eye to eye with her. As though the growth spurt did not bother her, Rynn looked serious then cracked a smirk.
"Been a long time since I saw you last. Last I saw you, you were half the size you are now."
She chuckled, patting the crossbreed on the shoulder. And turning to look at Crimson and the two other girls as they commentated.
"Hehe its ok. Believe me, I've had much more creepy greetings than just growling words."
Honestly, it was extremely surprising to see how Black sprouted compared to the others, then again, their father was a pretty tall boy for his feline breed. Nonetheless, it was nice to see her.

Curiosity was bubbling, but ignored in the back of the cross' mind. Eyes narrowed at Scarlet for a moment, obviously contemplating a way to break the 'cute' attitude. There was real potential there for an open mind, but damn, it was hard to get past that.. that.. Powder puff Persona. Black shrugged it off, moving away and leaning against the wall. Rynn hadn't changed all that much, she still looked the same, the scent was the same, but for some reason she seemed nicer somehow. Was everyone going soft? Tail flickered, dragging across the ground in agitation, something that was common when the hybrid was around family. None of them ever really stopped to have a decent conversation and bothered to remember it ten minutes later, so why bother being around them? If it hadn't been for Rynn being there at that moment, then there would be no reason to stick around.. Other than the smell of food and a growling stomach.

Scarlet saw Black's tail swishing in the dirt, smirking. When they were both littler she'd often see something like that and decide to randomly pounce at the tail, sometimes catching it and a strong smack or kick from Black in the process. Maybe they should have a sister to sister talk later, but first she should probably focus on Rynn before she pulled another famous disappearing act. "Auntie Rynn? Didn't you have presents for everyone?"

Hinata perked up at the mention of presents. Sure she was glad to have given Rynn a gift but she loved getting them even more. "Present? What present? C'mon gimme gimme gimme! Erm..." she blushed, looking up to Crimson. "Er... please? Please gimme?"

Watching as Black moved away, the hybrid was starting to feel that she would like to discuss something but could not do it with the oblivious family.
What's wrong Black? Something's on your mind I can tell... Tell me, don't worry, they won't know..
The beast thought to the other as she placed her pack down on the ground and pulled out a few trinkets for Hinata and the other two who had yet to show up. And when it came down to Black, well it was in a small black box.
"Here you go Black. Something you can open up when you get alone."
The small box contained a rope pendant with Black's name in Latin. Having seen that on her way back, Rynn thought the child would like it.
"Hope you guys like what I got you guys. Was unsure since it had been a while since I last saw all of you."
She smirked. Yeah she may have softened up a little since everyone had last seen her, but give it a few more weeks being back and her original personality would show up and bite back. Her temper had dampened but that didn't mean it wouldn't flair without warning.

No, it had to wait till an appropriate subject was present. Not that it would be strange to just blurt it out in public, at least not for the hybrid. Crimson on the other hand would probably learn what kind of language her children were really using when she wasn't listening. Black's head shook slightly, tilting off the hood to expose long ears, a red mohawk and sharp black spikes atop the crossbreed's head. Wings shifted, stretching a little, then returned to ther former position. Oh sure, Scarlet used to tackle that big fluffy tail, but she'd better not try it now, she'd be lucky not to get sliced open from the spikes that were now kept extra sharp, even though they were well hidden. Hmm? What was this? Taking the box and placing it in a pants pocket, the tigon's head tilted in question, but not a word was spoken exept for a grunted "Thanks."

"Wow, that's about the most sentiment you'll ever get from Black, hehe. Well, that and not being mauled." Scarlet grinned, practically dancing and anticipating a swat from her sister. Even if Black was kind of the odd one out sometimes she still liked her the most. Maybe it was just the cool name.

"Ooo, I love it Rynn, thank you! Never too grown up to get a present, hehehe. I'm gonna go find a safe place for it real quick and see if I can kick the boys into getting their tails down here. Be right back!" Hinata smirked and ran off, cluthing her present tight to her chest. Maybe the boys just didn't believe Scarlet when she said Rynn was back?

Smirking and nodding slightly, the hybrid returned her attention back to the others instead of just watching Black.
In all honesty, now would have been a perfect time to say her goodbyes and run before others who knew her would find her, but something wanted her to stay a bit longer.
Why?? Why do I always have this feeling to stay or run when I'm around them?
Watching as Hinata disappeared, Rynn's expression was changing with each passing second. If it wasn't her facial expression it was the gleem in those sapphire eyes.

Looking away towards the skyline above the forest, she did not want everyone to notice the change in those eyes.
"It's almost time to leave again..."
She mumbled to herself, mistakingly quiet yet aloud. Last she wanted was to be confronted by her siblings who had not physically seen her in years.
