"Heh, that can be a good thing. Means you won't be falling behind in any of your classes hopefully. And if you do well, something's definitely wrong with that picture." Of course it was also a good thing because she probably hadn't heard about any of the problems from the past. He'd let her know if anything big started going down though, just to be safe. And if something like that did happen he'd probably end up among the first to know, would make it easier to pass along to friends.

Icey could understand that school was very important. She just had to wonder sometimes if she came across as a boaring person. She did try to keep that out of her mind. All that usually did for her was bring her down. She was the kind who did not let herself feel bad. She figured that if she got all upset or depressed that it would just make her feel even worse. She also liked to try to make others around her feel better as well. ‘’ yeah. If I do fall behind then I would problem get kind of upset. ’’ She said with a smile.

Blake finished his food and gathered up the dishes. "Anything else you'd like before we go?" It was about this time he caught a small group of new transfer students at a table pointing in his direction and laughing. Oh, he got the picture. They were probably thinking he was hitting on her. Well if they tried to make a big deal of it, he'd be hitting on someone alright... and those someones wouldn't be getting up for a while.

Icey smiled when the dragon asked if she wanted anything else. He was certainly being kind to her.’’ No I am good thanks. ’’ she said. She the glanced to see what the dragon was looking at. She also saw the students pointing and laughing. She shook her head slightly. If they did think that the dragon was flirting with her then they were way off base. For one thing icey was not the kind who wanted to flirt with older people. For another she had other things for her to worry about. She always thought that the actions of some just showed how immature they were.

Blake let a trail of smoke loose as he glared at the other table, and suddenly all the laughing and pointing stopped. Yeah, seeing a dragon not in a good mood was a decent reason to behave. Though he would agree with his friend, they were only showing how immature they really were. "Okay. Well, we've still got quite a few boxes to pack and send out. I'll be right back and we can get to work on that. Heh, and hopefully things continue to go well."

Icey did not blame the other students for stoping their laughing. She would say that just about anyone would stop laughing at an angery dragon. She herself would not have started laghing in the first place. She had seen a few around who acted like that they would want to take on the whole world. She figured that if they were put in a fight with someone their own size they would probly lose . She did not belive that fighting could solve much though. She beleved that there was always a peaceful soution to something. She did not try to push her belifs on others though. She looked at the dragon with a smile. ‘’ yes we do have a few more to get done. I certainly hope that they keep going well. ’’ she said

"Not that it's a real problem if something were to go wrong though. I've still got plenty of materials and I can always make a replacement piece." Returning from handing in the dishes Blake checked the time. They still had at least a good four hours before the mail room would take their last packages and letters for the day, hopefully more than enough time to pack a few figurines.

Icey hoped that they would be able to get everything packed up without breaking something. She would feel bad if she did break something. She did not like to break anything that belonged to others. Icey was a resopnceable creature so she too pride in almost everything that she did. ‘’ That sounds like it could be a good thing at times. ’’ she said with a smile.

"Yeah, every once in a while I finish a project and I look at it a little later and I swear it's missing something. I end up getting carried away trying to add something and it winds up either nowhere near what it's supposed to be anymore or I break something about it, heh. Not that often really, but still it'd be better if I never wound up messing up any of these projects. People pay a pretty fair sum to get them made, even more if it's from a rare gemstone." Blake smiled as they started back toward his little room in the school. They passed the mail room again and he gave another friendly wave as they looked pretty busy with everything that had been dropped off, doing a great job not letting anything get smashed too.

Icey walked beside the dragon as they when back to his room. From what she had seen she could tell why they would want to pay so much for the dragon’s art. She would have and that was saying something. Though she would never admit it she did take after her mom and dad when it came to her taste in art. That came from the fact that they always told her that it had to have certain standards before you could but it. Actually thinking about it that kind of when for anything that her family bought. ‘’Well at least you care about how your art looks. ’’ She said. She moved slightly when a small group of students came threw the hall. She saw a few strange looks from them. She could have cared less about what they thought though.

"Yeah. I don't think I could stand sending someone a work of art that was below my standards. It's like I'd be insulting them, and my own potential knowing I could do better. Not that I get to the freaky point of smashing things even when they're great just because I think it's got something wrong with it. I've seen people like that and half the time what they smash is better than the next one they put out... which of course they seem to like even more than the first one. Always drove me kinda crazy." So what if students were giving them looks. Blake knew who he was really in love with, who he would really hang out with, and she was just a good friend so far. Geeze, kids these days swore you couldn't hang out with someone unless you wanted to sleep with them.

Icey nodded to what the dragon said. She could understand that most creatures took pride in their art. However there was a line between careing and being obssed with it.she had never met that many atists herself. She left that up to her parents. She could understand how it would bother the dragon though. “ Well I can understand that . After all if you do not like they way something looks then why would your customer like it right? Hummm….. Some of those kind seem to be a bit odd. ” she said with a frown. She was not real sure how to word that statement without being rude. She was not real bothered by the other students. If they wanted to have dirty thoughts then that was their problem not hers. Though it would be kind of bad if rumors were to get spread around about them. She pushed that from her head. The dragon was a friend to her for now and that was all that mattered.

Blake opened the door to his little art room and held it for her, looking around and glad nothing had been disturbed. "So still no plans for the rest of the day when we get all this finished? Looks like at the rate we've been going it shouldn't be more than another hour or two." Of course they would be a very delicate two hours but still, providing no mistakes it should be fine. Maybe he could convince her to at least call her family today if she wasn't busy at all.

Icey smiled when the dragon opened the door for her. She could see that they did not have that much work left to do. She thought about the dragon’s question. Nope none that she could think of that was for sure. ‘’No none yet. Maby we will get this done. We should not rush though. ’’ she said with a smile. If the dragon really wanted her to she probly would call her parents. She just did not know how to do that was all . At least she was the last thime icey had checked. Icey certainly hoped she was anyhow. ‘’ What about you ? Any other plans for the day? ’’ she asked with a smile.

Meanwhile outside the school another creature made her way towards the school. She glared her dark blue eye turing in to a tiney slit. She did not like big crowds at all. There was only one reason she was here. She was on the run from the cops. She could not afford to let them catch her now. Her dark eye looked from left to right as she hid in the bushes. She was glad that the young creatures seemed to be busey playing more then anything else. Suddenly she fliched when something land beside her. It was a football that one of them had thrown. She hissed as one student came to retrieve it. She waited untill he got close then suddenly threw the ball in his face. He gave a yell of surprise and took off running. She laughed softly thinking that maby she could have a little fun while she was here.

Of course Blake wasn't going to be immediately notified of what was going on outside with the new stranger lurking around. A football being thrown at someone was hardly reason to call security. So he remained blissfully unaware for now, sitting down at the large table and bringing over a figurine to wrap. "Here, just a little example. Take the foam like this..."
It only took a minute or two to demonstrate how the packing materials should go on the figurines, and another two or three to show how to get it in the box nice and secure without over stuffing it.
