It was another cool morning as a lone make made his way to the falls. He knew well that he should have been in class. However he knew something else also. He had to keep everyone safe from the monster inside him.He had to keep everyone safe from pen. Pen it seemed was not coping well with life as a student. He wanted to hurt others more often now. Pension could not allow that to happen. He could not let pen hurt or kill others.

But now things were getting out of hand. Pen was blocking him out completely when he came out. Pension could no longer see or hear what pen did. Nor could he remember it. In his mind it was getting out of hand. So here he was going to his favorite quiet place to think of a way to stop pen .

As he finally got to the falls he gave a huge sigh now he was away from anyone pen could hurt. Though it did not occur to him that pen could just go back to the school. No he just knew that they were alone. At least he thought they were.

Of course there was someone else that enjoyed nature, and being outdoors.  Though it wasn't making him miss any classes at the moment Verdy did enjoy taking little trips to the falls and other areas where most students saw "boring nature" as he'd heard it called so often.  And, well, he did have a home out in the woods so this area wasn't so far off that he wouldn't want to stop by now and then.  Actually what he should have focused on right about now was gardening, his paid job at the school that also happened to be in far greater proximity to class when he would need to get there later.  "I am focused on gardening, rock gardening or zen gardening or natural inspiration.  Can't have it always be the same all over, I do have some creative license with it all."  And he was talking to himself while strolling slowly up the river bank searching for any lovely plants or shiny stones.  The talking to himself part might be a bit crazy but it was rather refreshing to step into the cool water now and then in his shorts and find a fancy looking stone or piece of driftwood he could admire, sometimes even pocket for later.  What he didn't realize was in his own little world of thought the young green dragon had wandered his way almost right up to Pension, snapping out of his little daydream world when he noticed a familiar face and gave a friendly smile.  "Hey Pension, haven't seen you for a while.  What's up?"

pension was now standing at the edge of the falls. He wondered slightly if he could jump to the other side without getting wet. Probably not but it was a funny thought. As he stood there he knew that he was not far from snapping.
One day pen would win. One day he would take over completely. But he knew that he would not allow that to happen if he had any say in it. For now though pen was quite. Strangely quiet. He knew that he was up to something. But he did not know what that was just yet.

Pension frown when he heard someone talking as they came closer to where he was standing. He listened to see how many people were coming. Then he saw a young green Dragon commuting in to view. He knew who it was too. He was a friend of his from the school. He smiled as he looked at him now. " hey man. I has been kinda distracted here lately. I has been stay out here a lot.." he said with a smile.

He noted how closeto he had gotten before pension had noticed him. That was edited.to him He then push his sunglasses up on his face to hide those stunning blue eyes of his. " what has you been doin ?" He asked with a smile now.

"Heh, not too much.  Just the usual gardening at school and taking a class or two.  I get classes can be stressful, especially with some of the teachers.  Still, think you might want to see Drake about getting a pass or something.  Wouldn't want you to miss out on so much that you get in trouble."  Actually he was a little surprised anyone else would be out here at this time of day.  Or that anyone would be out here at all.  Then again the school did have a lot of very unique individuals so he wasn't focusing so much on "typical" attitudes right now.  He walked a little closer, noticing the sunglasses.  That's right, he wasn't big on the light was he?  Or was it something else... he had a feeling he was forgetting something important.

pension listened as his friend spoke. It was then that he heard pen laughing . It was that evil laugh he always gave when he was about to cause trouble. " Well I has been needing to protect everyone. Pen is getting out of hand. I is not wanting to hurt no one. Or let him be doing that. So I has to be away from everyone." He said with a sigh. He then looked at his friend. So far pen did not do anything butI laugh. But that could very well change.

The light was only half the reason he hid his eyes. It kept others for seeing the evil looks that pen made him give. And it kept others from staring at his eyes. Pen absolutely hated that. And he did not want to provoke him any more then he already did just by breathing wrong.

Oh that's right.  Pen, he remembered Pen vaguely.  Actually, he thought about one time that he might have encountered him and they actually somewhat got along?  Well, at least to the point that he survived the encounter.  "I wouldn't worry too much about it, but maybe that's just me.  At school there's security after all, but I guess it wouldn't be nice to even think about the possibility of hurting someone else and then getting hurt too."  Depending on which part of security ran across him of course.  And how quickly they'd respond, if it was just in a dorm room then it might not be the quick response compared to in one of the classes.  Maybe he just needed a room out here or something and that would help?

pension smiled as he heard what his friend was saying to him. He knew most did not think pen was a big deal. However he knew that pen could be a handful. At least when he did not get what he wanted he was. "Well I just don't want to hurt anyone. He about killed a kid just for looking at us funny yesterday. " he said with a frown. Of course he did not say that he was starting to have trouble remember what pen did. That he was being blocked out sometimes. He did not want to scare verdy away.

Verdy shrugged as he sat down at the edge of the falls.  "Well while we're out here might as well relax and enjoy nature right?  Shouldn't be too bad, and while I'm betting he'd rather be back picking fights, even a part of him can appreciate the serene falls here.  Something well away from the rest of the school."  Though there was some other reason that Pen might like it out here, Verdy just didn't feel like voicing that possibility.  He figured Pen might enjoy a quiet place where there'd be no interruptions if he did choose to do something nasty.  The green dragon smiled softly and beckoned his friend to join him.  "Take a seat and relax."

pension smiled. He was right they should just relax and enjoy the surroundings. Though pen was thinking that they could enjoy something else. Something more fun. Though violence was not part of that fun for once. He did think his friend was cute after all. Though if asked pen would deniy that completely. " yeah it is pretty out here." Pension said with a smile. Though he did not add what pen told him at that moment. Sometimes the guy could be a bit odd for someone so evil.

He walked over and sat by his friend. He then took out a blueish green rock from his pocket. " that's kinda pretty . I found it here the other day." He said holding it out verdy now so he could look at it

The green dragon smiles softly as Pension joined him, taking a moment to admire the rock.  "Very nice.  I've heard rumors there's some sort of crystal cave around here but I've never found it, probably something that just got made up as a story but there's still plenty of nice things to see out here.  And some of them are even the scenery, heh."  Verdy blushed a little as he said that, it was kind of silly but he did kind of like Pension.  The water was nice and cool, the grass behind them soft, it was a perfect place to relax as long as you didn't mind you'd probably get a little damp from the mist around the falls.

pension just smiled as me looked at his friend. He too liked the green Dragon. However he was not sure if the feeling was mutual. Though he knew that pen did not care about that. If he wanted something he would just take it. He did not believe in love. Or even like for that matter. " really. That be interesting.I heard that but I anit never looked for it.
" he then smiled when he heard what else was said to him. "I like what I is looking at right now." He said looking at verdy with a grin. Maybe he could let pen have some fun. And have some himself.

Verdy blushed a bit, relaxing as best he could and looking up at the sky and over to his friend.  "So since we're out here, doesn't make any sense to try to get back to half of a class or anything.  Want to just hang here for a while?"  He could probably take a quick trip to his little place out here in the woods and gather a sort  of picnic, or any other comforts that Pension might want.  Though at the moment he was thinking what Pension really needed was a friend he could trust, someone he had a good idea would still be alive and well if Pen did decide to take over for a bit.

pension laid on his side beside his friend. He has to be careful of his long tail feathers. It hurt to break those. He then heard pen saying that he wanted out. Pension knew one thing. If pen liked this kid he would not kill him.
He liked having toys around after all.

" yeah we can hang out here for a while. I don't mind that at all." He said with a smile. He then mumbled for pen to behave himself. Sometimes he had to wonder how the guy kept from getting them hurt a lot more then he already had.

The green dragon laughs softly and nods.  "Well good, if you had said no then I would have felt a little odd, like I'd done something wrong or intruded on your privacy.  And I wouldn't want to do that.  I could get a nice little picnic lunch or dinner for us if you feel like it later though."  Actually he should have said something sooner about not wanting to intrude if Pension had wanted true privacy out here.  And with Pen being a possibility he knew that could have been a factor.  Then again, with the glasses on, it was hard to tell by the look in his eyes if he was even Pension or if he was already Pen.  At least with some of the others he'd meet out here like dragons he could tell what they wanted right away.
