It was the start of another lovely day. for one particular con this was a good day for a hunt. She moved quietly threw the woods smiling as she did so. She was hungry for blood today and was going to kill whatever got in her path. She had left a note back at her new home telling her mate where she was at the moment. “ Free my hands from bondage and Take these chains away Running from destruction Avarice will kill you in time” she sang as she stalked the woods. She then smiled as she found a deer standing in the path. She walked towards it smiling as she did so. She then ran as fast as she could towards the deer. The animal saw the threat too late and was not able to out run her. Vixi leapt up and landed on her prey back and was sure to stab it several times before the poor deer hit the ground. She then laughed as she stood there watching her prey as it died. She then started to drag her back to her home. This would make a good meal for her and her rose.

Usually the woods were very comforting for Verdy. He could take a nice quiet stroll, enjoy all the beauty of nature and get away from the other students, not that they were all bad of course but he needed his alone time. But sometimes the woods could be very much the opposite from what he wanted, filled with danger. You'd think by now he would have known this but the dangers always wound up close to him. Today he heard the shriek of a deer and started looking around trying to track the sound. Whatever had gone on it was the cries of a prey animal being brought down and he didn't want to be next on the menu. Oh but where could he go, if he picked the wrong path then he'd just interrupt something's feast possibly and that would definitely be a bad idea.

Vixi now gave a grunt as she pulled her prey behind her . She knew that this was going to be the hard part of her little trip. However she did not mind for she had satisfied her predatory urge for the time being. As she lugged her prey down the hill that she was on she heard the sound of another walking in the woods. She paused and smiled as she heard then getting closer to her. She then smiled again as she spotted who was in the woods with her. It was that strange little dragon she had clawed up a while back. Too bad vixi had no urge to kill right now. Other wise he might have been her next victim. For now she just stood there watching him. “ nice day for a walk .“ she stated now. She figured that there was no harm in talking to the kid right now. What would he do now? She had to wonder now. Would he run or stay and chat a while?

"Oh uh... yeah, I guess it is." Phew. So it was someone he knew to be a predator but at least she had already taken her prey and wasn't likely to strike out at him. At least not yet. She was carrying, or dragging, a pretty big animal along though and might have a long walk ahead of her. "Um... need help with that?" No, he shouldn't be offering, he should probably be walking swiftly in another direction to get away from a potential danger. She could just as easily regain that urge to kill and come after him as fresher and easier to carry quarry.

Vixi smiled as she heard the other talking to her now. It seemed that he was going to stick around for a while. She now gave a slight smile when she heard him ask if she needed help with her prey. Well the kid was still as kind as he used to be. Some creatures never learned it seemed. “ well you can help if you want to , kid.” she said with a smile on her face. It was true that she could kill him if she wanted to. But why kill some one who was helping her? Besides vixi was a changed con as far as her lover knew. If she did kill the kid she would probably just leave his carcass out here away from rose. After all she did not want her lover to know that she was back to killing other anthros. So the kid was safe , At least he was for now.

"Okay. I'll help." Verdy was still nervous around her but he also had to figure that he'd have been dead by now if he was at risk. She might develop that urge to kill again but she was also the kind to give some kind of clue she was about to turn on him. She liked the fear if he remembered right. Grabbing one of the back legs of the animal he nodded to her ready to help carry it. He was half looking where he was going and half trying to spot the weapon she must have.
