The hydra heads all smiled and laughed a little, sitting up and reaching up to rub the mouse's shoulders. "Sounds good. Let's take a few minutes to relax first though and figure out what we want to do. Anywhere specific you want to explore?" Roderick smirked as he had them rubbing Matthew's shoulders and down to his chest, teasing him a little. He really liked their cute little roomie, and was definitely looking forward to being able to have fun with him again.

He shivered under the teasing, appearing to put effort behind concentrating despite the distraction. "I think, um... a-anywhere you particularly like. Geez, I like these." He moved his hands to seize the hydra's, beaming cheerfully up at the trio of heads.

"Heh, don't mind him Roderick's just trying to distract you so he can try and convince you to spend more time in bed with us. Actually we do like going to the theater in the school sometimes, worth seeing what they've got going on there. Not sure if it'd be practice for a performance or if they'd be showing a movie." That always kind of confused Maverick, how the theater was used for showing movies in the school and for students to practice and put on plays and musicals. Oh well it was entertaining all the same and a good place to hang out.

"Let's walk there, then." He leaned in and gave each of the heads an intimate, familiar sort of kiss, before he wriggled his way around the hydra and out of the bed. Matthew rummaged through his discarded clothing until he found something loose and baggy enough to be deemed wearable.

He spared a glance back at the hydra before tugging a shirt on over his head. While tangled in clothing, he asked, "maybe something to eat, too? I feel kind of hungry now." His ears emerged from the shirt with a flick, before the rest of his head followed.

The hydra sat watching Matthew for a minute before getting up and getting dressed as well, pulling a few fresh clothes out and throwing them on. "Okay, we can stop at the cafeteria along the way. Maybe get one of their pizzas or something, I'll buy." Luke was always the most generous with their money, which often had the other two quite upset at him.

Matthew seized the hydra in a sudden, bubbly hug. "That's alright! I have some money. Um, it'd probably be bad if I let you buy me things for stuff like that, r-right?" He did his very best to show point a humored smile up at the three. It only appeared to have a tinge of uncertainty, nothing more.

The mouse drew away and made his way across to the dormitory door. He fumbled with the lock for a moment, then shuffled his way out into the hallway, where he waited for the hydra to join him. He'd be awkward and silent again as they made their way to the cafeteria.

"If you insist. It wouldn't be bad but Luke tends to be overly generous." Once fully dressed Roderick smirked and they followed Matthew out into the hallway. He liked watching the little mouse, so much energy and so much nervousness to him, it was cute. Though he still really enjoyed the company of another person, they hadn't slept together yet and he was wondering if that friend would ever let him get to that stage.

"What? We may very well end up working three jobs some day in the future and even if we each made minimum wage that'd still get us a lot of cash we could spare. Why not be generous now?"

"Three jobs?" The idea was clearly more than daunting. "I, um, know y'all wonna do different things n' such, but... Won't that be exhausting?"

Matthew was weaving his way around the people in the corridors, sometimes hurrying and sometimes lagging about to keep pace with the hydra. His mannerisms were anxious again. He kept his eyes low and did his very best to avoid making eye contact with any of the people around them.

"Nah not really. It's really tough to exhaust all three of us. One head could always get some sleep even while the others are working and then be fully capable of keeping us going when those two have to take a break. Heh, course if all three of us are busy, maybe not so hard to wear us out." He was making a specific reference for Matthew, grinning as usual about that sort of thing. Roderick hoped their mouse friend didn't mind a little teasing now and then. The hydra was generally the one being dodged by other students due to his size, very few making him actually step out of the way. Matthew could probably just as easily walk behind them and be perfectly clear, but the hydra wanted to be able to keep an eye on him and admire him too.

He bit his lip when Roderick mentioned the exhaustion bit, though it was hard to keep the corners of his mouth from curling upward. It was pretty clear that Matthew was proud of his accomplishment, although his irrepressible shyness kept him from saying so aloud. He continued to skitter along in front of the hydra, leading his way without being sure at all of where he was going.

"Um, but y'all can only be in one place at a time... I-I'm not saying you can't all be what you like. I'm not trying to do that at all. I'm just curious is all..." And now it seemed that the mouse was worried, once again, that he may well have offended the three. The concerned glance that he gave back toward them might have indicated as much.

"Heh, no worries, we'll figure it out. Besides if we were to, say, open our own place of business one part could be for vet work, one for doctor work, one for psychiatry or psychology work. Then we wouldn't have to be in three places at once, three places would all come to us. Or we might all end up unemployed for all we know, future isn't certain so might as well give it our best and see what happens right?" Maverick always tried to make sense of things especially when the other two liked to come up with impossible or difficult situations. Of course in his own mind being the middle head gave him a bit more responsibility than the others but he never told them that, and tried not to show it.

"I'd give you all jobs in my, um, in... W-well, I kind of want t-to start a bakery, see." Although he had twisted back to smile up at the trio, that smile was quickly replaced by more shy shuffling and doddering. He wasn't sure whether a bakery was the most impressive of ambitions, especially not when the three were discussing doctoring and psychologist... ing...

"A bakery huh?" Maverick thought about that for a minute and smiled, leaning forward to whisper something in Matthew's ear that nobody else would hear and he was pretty sure would set the mouse blushing. "Sweet treats baked by the sweetest mouse I know? Mmm, sounds delicious, I'd love working with you." And really, it did sound like a nice idea. From breads to sweets like cupcakes and donuts, plenty of things that could make a person happy, why not be proud of wanting to bake?

Maverick's mumble made him skip a step, bringing him to a sudden pause and perhaps causing them both to collide. He didn't seem to know how to respond. So he decided to mumble a clumsy "thank you" before continuing on, seeming a little more disoriented by the hallways and the people within them.

"My mum and dad think it's a horrible idea," he added as he continued along, now toying with his shirt as though the clothing was uncomfortable.

"How could any idea you come up with be a bad one? Heh, come on, let's keep going to the cafeteria, it's this way. You can sample the competition, hehe, or know what's best to start supplying them with ahead of time." It might be nice eventually working for the school in a way, sending everything back here. Certainly wouldn't bother him or the others.
