Ritzi wakes into the the dorm and look around in the nice room* Well I can't wait to see what you room is like* Waging his tail madly from side to side. He close his eyes and gently smell the atmosphere in the room* Well it definitely not smell like a farm* giggles and starts to think maybe it was not that funny after all and begins to blush a little bit

"Hehe, no not unless I get a little carried away with trying to make some perfumes. Little hobby of mine considering I do work in the garden, if I'm trimming all of those plants and flowers might as well find a use for them right?" Verdy's room might actually seem kind of plain, he had a poster or two up on the walls but they were of certain books including one his adoptive father Rook wrote. Then one or two paintings, a sort of "new family portrait" with him Sauda and Rook done by the headmaster's brother, not much else to decorate the walls. He did have a very nice ultra soft plush carpet on most of the floor, which he took care of to make sure it was always nice and soft. Then there was the nice big bed since he was the only one who stayed in his room here, there was a smaller guest bed in a corner but very few people had ever used it. A simple dresser, a bookshelf half full of books and half full of assorted decorations and figurines, and a nice big cabinet for his nicer suits and other things he'd keep around in case he needed to look a lot more presentable.

"Well this is it, not too bad huh? Heh, guess being here for a couple years I've had some time to make it more presentable."

Starts to gently walks in the room and stop for a moment and move my feet on the soft carpet* Wow this feel soooooo soft on my paws much better than the hard floor on my room* gently rube my feet against it so I don't make it less soft and looks at some on the posters* Rook? Who's that?* and looks at the portrait * And who's that on the picture? if I may ask* Looks close to the picture

"Oh don't worry about it, the carpet's here to be enjoyed so enjoy it. Heck every once in a while it's so nice I'll even take a nap on the floor. Oh, that's my adoptive family. The shorter younger looking one's Sauda, the older one's Rook. He's a literature professor here, sometimes creative writing, sometimes literature, always a difficult course but well worth taking. So you like the place?" The green dragon was smiling, his own tail swaying happily behind him a little as he looked fondly at the family portrait then back at the other student.

Owww I can see I will always sleep on the floor if I hat a carpet like this one* gently rub the feet and gigels as it tickels his pads* Owww you are an adoptive child too? Well so am I* Smiles and stats to think that he is maybe a person he could talke to about some of the wories he has. * well I do like it looks really nice. Mutch cooler than my room but I just moved in and only got some cloth and books and my guitar whit me.* Gently look at the picture* You look really happy together * look up at him and smiles

"Yeah, happy now but before I was with them it was tough. Anyway, it's good to have someone there for you even if they might not be your original parents." Verdy smiled, looking at his new friend's paws and the carpet and coming up with an idea. "If you like the carpet you can have it. Consider it a nice welcoming gift to the school. Heh, besides it probably feels a lot nicer on your paws than it does on mine." The green dragon knew how hard it could be to feel welcome and any little thing he could do might help.

OWWWW really?* His tail starts to madly wagging from side to side and runs over to him and hugs him* Thank you thank you. You are really kind if I can have it.* Looks in his eyes * and stop hugging because he don't want to be misunderstand* Sorry for the huge I don't know if you are a person who hugs his friends or not* Starts to blush and get a lintel bit nervous

Verdy laughed softly, gladly giving the other student a hug back. "That should be a pretty good answer, heh. I don't mind hugs at all, and I'd be glad to give it to you. Hehe, especially good to get it in your room soon before any extra furniture or other things get moved in and make bringing in the nice plush carpet harder. Of course it also means any time I come over to your room I'll get to enjoy it again." He was glad he could make a nice positive impact in someone's time here, give them something to look forward to. Besides though he wasn't about to say it out loud he kind of thought he was cute.

Smiles big and enjoy the hug. He hat never got a hug from someone that did not have fur on their skin. It felt different but nice at the same time* Well maybe you will help me get it into my room. I think I need help whit moving some of the things so the carpet can get in and look great on the floor.* He gently look up in his eyes and fell lucky that he already got one friend. Maybe the years at this school will maybe be one of the greatest years of his life

"Sure, I'd be happy to help. So you don't have anyone to share the room with yet huh? And you play guitar? Nice, always wished I could be good with an instrument or something." The green dragon grinned, liking his new friend and glad they could hang out for a while like this. And for once he was being looked up to instead of the one doing all the looking up. All his time here was finally starting to pay off. "So what brought you to this school anyway? If you don't mind my asking."

Ritzi starts to roll the carpet together and try to pull it up" Wow that is heavy what are it made of? Gold?* giggles a little bit and smile at the dragon* Well I can also play drums, bass, piano, mandolin and sings sometimes. And yes I have the room for myself until someone takes the other bed* He starts to pull the carpet out of the room* And I got to this school because my teacher in my old school said that it will be a good thing if I got to this school. Because I can work a lot on my drama and music skills. And also because I need to get away from all the problems at my old school. But my mother and father said that they did not have the money to it. But after some years they find the money. So that is why I am hear. What about you?"

Verdy laughed and lent a hand in getting the carpet up to be able to get it to his friend's room. "Hehe, the price of comfort I guess. Well I came here for kind of the same reason as you. I was always beaten up at my last school, the kids all insulted me and called me little more than a winged iguana. Only one student ever backed me up, I had my wings broken repeatedly, had a lot of little injuries and my mom only ever told me to suck it up. That's what led to getting adopted. Hey hang on a sec, you play mandolin? Sweet, now I'm getting jealous, hehe." He was really starting to like this kid, talented with a lot of music and had a nice supportive family. Until he moved here Verdy had been the exact opposite and his life turned around at Golden Oaks. He wanted to be around and watch Ritzi enjoy the school and all the opportunities it could bring. "Hey, if anyone ever gives you any trouble, just come to me and I'll be there to back you up. Heheh, even if it's someone twice my size."

Giggles at him and open the door to his room. A brown decorated room whit tow beds, tow large desk and tow closet nothing on the wall and a big window out to the garden.* So you can't fly like a normal dragoon? I personal don't like to fly I more like windsurfing. Me and my dad use to get out at summer to the beach and spend hours on the sea and when we get home me and my dad eat dinner on the top of his tractor and look at the sun goes down.* He gently smile and stats to push the bed so he could roll out the carpet. * My dad use to say that I should be a pro surfer when I grow up, but my mother said I should be a actor or a conductor . And my sister want me to be a super model or a doll maker. So I guess I have to find what I want to be too

"Nice room here, the carpet's going to look great with everything else. Well, I've got the muscle strength back in my wings, I can fly, not for too long and it's hard for me to carry anything or anyone. Still working on it though. If they ever get broken again then all the therapy and recovery time in the world won't help me fly." Verdy set the carpet down and started to roll it out into place, helping with moving furniture to get it all out where it should be. "Sure sounds like plenty of options, and at least a few possible goals for you. And you never know, actor and super model can sometimes be the same thing. Maybe act in a bunch of surfing movies or shows, combine all three together. You're definitely cute enough to do it." Ohh, as soon as it left his mouth Verdy knew that was probably phrased wrong. And he knew it could very easily be taken the wrong way, but hopefully the compliment would still be there and still understood.

Ritzi looked at him in the eyes he had been called cute sometimes but not from another mall* You...you.......you think..." He tryed to say something but it was like something holding it back. He suddenly starts to feel really strange his heart starts to go faster, His tail was wagging really faster and he starts to feel warmer. " you ....you think I am.......cu.....cu* He starts to get really nervous and gets trouble whit breathing. * You ...you* He could not say anything more. And tow seconds later he past put on the floor
