A quiet morning. The kids were all asleep still, Blake was passed out as well. Athan was probably asleep as well.
Creeping out of the castle, a certain hybrid had begun to take up early morning walks, finding it much easier to handle the days activities and surprises. Only this time, she was making her way to the falls upon which she had first come to realize many a thing.
Stepping over logs and thorn bushes, doing an odd hop, skip and jump, she soon found herself standing before the falls.

It had been here where Rynn often decided if she wanted to stay or leave, to decide if she would ever want tp have more than she could possibly cover up after years of yearning.
Rynn had probably discovered more about herself being alone at these falls than being around the company of others who tried to be professional about everything they talked about.
Rynn just wanted to relax this time.
Lately, here in the passed few weeks, Rynn had become less and less easy to aggrivate and more prone to just shrugging and laughing things off. She had become easier to be around and not feeling so overwhelmed of the fact she had so much to do in such little time. Then again... she had started having Blake assign his own babysitter for his kids on a regular basis as Rynn herself started to run off with that naga.

The memories of sneaking out from the dorm just to go do things made Rynn smile as she sat on a log in front of the falls. She knew the kids wanted her to be around as often as everyday and every hour, but she needed some time of her own as well. They needed to understand that Rynn was not with their father. In fact she had seemed more like a distant relative to him than anything. But the hybrid had supposed that was just meant to be. It was just like now she was little more than a passing stranger to her own brother and sister. And yet she still had not mustered up the courage to let them know she was back... nor had they tried to contact her since her last leave of this place.
Oh well... someday soon her mind would be clear enough that she would have nothing to worry about.
Getting lost in her own thoughts was becoming a habit these days. And doing so when she was alone was even more common.

Shimmer had a somewhat low profile lately. She still wasn't entirely certain which of her friends that was slightly... okay, MUCH better off than her, bailed out her little gym. Either way she was doing her best to keep it out of the red again and trying to at least pay the bills. Still she needed to take a little time to herself once in a while, and this place was one she just happened to stumble across lately. The unicorn was standing near the top of the falls in a two piece bathing suit, shrugging off a robe and taking a few quick running steps before leaping off the top and out over the falls with a joyful whinny. Last time she'd been here was just luck, she didn't have a swim suit and she didn't have a plan, so she made one for a return trip. Knew just where the rocks were, how far out she had to jump, and how to hopefully avoid smashing her horn on each dive. Halfway down as she did a few flips and twists the unicorn noticed she wasn't alone here at the falls, something she probably should have checked before diving off the top with a very skimpy outfit, ohhh this could be bad, really bad.

Sudden movement at the top of the Falls that gradually went down into the pool below had snapped Rynn out of her thoughts. Having company this morning was something new and what's more...
Was that... was that Shimmer?
Standing up, the hybrid went to the edge of the water and perked her ears, waiting to see if the unicorn was alright. When she didn't emerge right away, the creature backed away from the water then took a two step run into the water where she dived and wanted to rescue the unicorn. What had Shimmer been thinking? Was she trying to show off or was she trying to cool off and Rynn had distracted her?

Ow... never let it be said that a belly flop into a little lake area at the base of a waterfall is a good idea. Knocks the wind right out of you and stings worse than being beat up by five punk kids. Added to that the fact that she didn't get a good look at who was down here, well, she almost didn't want to surface. Then someone decided to come in after her and help her, and the unicorn finally started coming to the surface. Ohh geeze, that wasn't good but now she found herself face to face with Rynn, and the unicorn was blushing. "Oh uh... heh... hi... hi Rynn." Part of her stammering was nervousness, part of it was that stinging feeling from the failed dive still hurting her and keeping her mostly breathless. "Fancy, fancy seeing you, you out here. Phew, heh, that's quite a dive from up there isn't it?"

Rynn had swam as fast as she could towards the unicorn, trying not to panic when she saw the other female sinking after landing in the water. When the other body began to surface she calmed down a bit but still swam towards her.
"Heh, hi Shimmer. Haven't seen you in quite sometime."
Rynn commented, as she gently embraced Shimmer and began to swim for the bank or at least shallow enough water for them to stand with ease. Having watched the unicorn do a belly flop made Rynn's stomach turn. She, herself, did not having to do belly flops and knew they were more than just painful to the body.
"Yes it is, can also be dangerous as well when your unsure of the distance."

"Heh, well I had everything planned out until I saw this strange enchanting creature by the banks down here and I just lost focus long enough to have to pull out into the belly flop." She was glad for the hug and a chance to swim back to the shallows, though she was still a little nervous at being relatively scantily clad at the moment, at least things weren't as bad as they could have been. She would have died from embarrassment if any of her clothing had actually fallen off as a result of that impact.
"So uh, what brought you out here today? I guess you can kinda figure what got me to the falls this fine day but I have no idea why you're here."

Rynn chuckled softly as they reached the shallower waters, gently releasing the equine and getting herself out of the water. As she reached the dry bank, the hybrid dropped to all fours and proceeded to shake the vast majority of water from her fur. After doing so she sat on the bank and looked at Shimmer with a big smile.
"I had no idea anyone else gets up as early as I do. Had I known you would have been out here I would have brought my own swim suit. But I guess normal clothes can count at times as well. Are you alright?"
She asked, before that smile grew even bigger when Shimmer asked what she was doing out at the falls so early.
"Everyone seems to keep asking that these days. I gues you could say this area has become somewhat like a good thinking spot for me. Anytime I have trouble about personal issues that come up or I just need to get away from the kids for a while I just seem to find myself here for some reason. Heh, even when I came back after a year of being gone I seemed to have found myself here.."
All the while she was talking, Rynn's good eye never once left the sight of Shimmer in a bikini in the water. Sure she was scantily clothed, not like there were others who would try to judge the unicorn for trying to enjoy herself. If she wasn't, at least Rynn was enjoying the view. But then again, Rynn tended to enjoy many different things than just trying to ignore her desires.

Shimmer splashed her way up to the shallows behind Rynn and laughed, sitting there after she managed to get far enough out she wouldn't be dunking herself again. "I'm fine. Out here for a bit of sport and a spot of meditation myself, it's an inspiring view and very calming water isn't it? Didn't mean to intrude on your thinking, I understand how important it can be to get away and have a chance to focus for a bit. Of course since I'm here, and you're here, we might as well focus on something together. Be it swimming, thinking, or talking it's all good to me." Of course it was all good to her, she still had a sort of crush on Rynn even though she'd heard that the hybrid had been hanging around a naga a lot lately. Who said she couldn't have more than one interest? Though the unicorn would never say it... and she'd try not to think it just in case Rynn could hear her thoughts but it had been an idle joke in the past that maybe her horn would act as some sort of interference despite the fact she wasn't in the least bit magical.

Even iif Shimmer had tried her hardest to not think about Rynn in various ways, the hybrid would not have to read her mind to see that the unicorn still had that crush like back then. It cute and very heart warming. Rynn had always been used to others idling her from afar and others trying and failing in acting on their thoughts. However, with Shimmer it was always different. She had been the first to steal a kiss from Rynn successfully. And whether it was obvious or not, the creature still had a crush on the other female as well. Seeing her in that bikini, in the water and after so long, it really made Rynn want to act on an impulse instead of being in control. There are other things for us to do as well.. She thought mischievously as she smiled.
"Well, now that you mention it, you could help me figure something out..."
The hybrid spoke softly, inching ever so slowly closer to Shimmer, trying to retain eye contact all the while.

Shimmer kept her attention locked on Rynn, smiling and blushing a little. "Oh? And uh, what might that be?" Oh the ideas dancing around in her head, so many of them were either inappropriate or naughty, only a scant few were of decent and moral thoughts, which were all hiding in their own little corner of her mind. She sat frozen in place waiting for either Rynn's next words or her next action, not sure if it was going to be a fantasy or a reality. Of course that was meant in more ways than one, and in one possible scenario it would be both, like a dream come true. Oh how she hoped that was what was on the hybrid's mind.

Smirking all the while she drew closer, Rynn stopped a few feet away and crossed her arms.
"How am I ever going to concentrate and think with you dressed like that? Do you realize just how distracting it is when I'm trying to have a civilized and straight conversation with you?"
The hybrid tried to sound mean and disappointed in her words, hoping to throw off the unicorn by a mile. If it worked, then it was a good thing. She had a plan to make up for what she had just said. Without giving her much room to speak again, she started up again.
"If I had a right to act on my words, I'd haul you right back up there and make you put your clothes back on.."
She tried keeping as straight a face as she could when she had started getting nearer, breaking the comfort zone of personal space.
And without giving the other a chance to speak or do much of anything, the hybrid pulled her into a kiss. Letting it linger for a few minutes, she slowly eased out of the kiss and stared at Shimmer with a big grin.

The unicorn made an effort to pout almost mockingly and grinned after the kiss was finally over. "Well when I can manage to distract you enough to get a kiss like that, I think I need to keep you from concentrating for a long long time, long enough at least for me to get a few little revenge kisses." Shimmer, if she were ever asked, could honestly tell anyone who wanted to know that she found Rynn incredibly sexy. And why wouldn't she, half the town seemed to feel the same way. Of course the unicorn had justifications for her feelings on the subject, not that she needed them, or could focus on them right now. All she wanted, as she licked her lips trying to re-live the moment, was to get her lips back on the hybrid's and not back off for as long as possible. She grinned and leaned in close to Rynn, her turn to get a sneaky kiss in. "And besides, how can I possibly think about getting dressed and looking decent when someone like you gets me so hot?" leaning in and stealing her own kiss, hoping it would last just as long if not longer than the one she'd been given.

As the female spoke, the hybrid tried doing a mock imitation of being mad and annoyed by being back talked. When she actually tried to speak, she found herself at a loss for words. Not only was she surprised at what Shimmer had just said, the kiss she snuck in right behind it was surprising as well. Alright! Let's play then...
As it seemed it was going to be a battle of wits that she had started, it was a welcomed moment in time. Growling playfully as their lips locked once again, the hybrid made an effort to gently bite and pull her bottom lip before resuming to kiss her more paasionately. Sure Rynn may have initiated the kissing, but she felt it was better than just flat out tackling Shimmer to the ground and ripping her little bikini off. Besides, the creature would have been embaressed afterwards from the hostile beast within her.

If Shimmer had known one of the alternatives running through Rynn's mind she would have held out for it, even if it would have meant having to sew up or replace her bikini. She kissed Rynn firmly and enjoyed every second of it, slowly reaching out and putting an arm around her shoulder as she scooted a little closer. That was better, not having to lean in so far for the kiss, and being able to pull the hybrid closer was a nice bonus too. Oh sure she probably shouldn't get too carried away... but she would be. The unicorn wasn't too worried on social graces or anything like that, she wanted to be able to pay her own way in the world but as far as others opinions of her choices, the only one that mattered was probably the one she was kissing right now. Heck nobody else ever came out here anyway and it wasn't likely they would at this hour, they had some alone time and they could damn well enjoy it.

This was probably one of the more interesting mornings. Usually she was walking through here alone, sitting alone or running alone. This was the first time, well aside from her first coming back, that she was here with another.
As she was pulled into another kiss and closer than before, the hybrd helped herself even closer. She sat up on her knees and straddled one of Shimmer's legs as she put a hand on the other's cheek to stroked it back behind her head. Without thinking clearly, the creature pushed the unicorn onto her back and pinned her there as she kept the kiss going. Something was stirring inside of Rynn, something that was either going to make this situation go into a whole new ball park or start making things take a turn for the worst... though possibly still pleasurable to a point. Besides, if they wee going to be alone out here for a long while, why not make it worth that long while. As one hand remained near Shimmer's head, the other trailed ever so slowly down her chin to her neck... then towards her chest..
