Pen kind of smiled when he saw the confused look on the females face. It seemed that it was to loud in her for either of then to hear what the other was saying. Oh well that was probably a good thing . After all most did not understand those like him anyhow. He could not her his lighter half telling him that he should just dance and relax like he said he was going to do instead of confusing the poor female to death. Pen just sighed and told his other half not to tell him what to do. He heard his other half get quiet indicating that he was ignoring pen for the moment. That was just fine to pen anyhow. He then turned his attention back to the girl and cocked his head slightly when she said something to him. He was having trouble hearing her as well. So pen decided just to smile at her and give a slight nod hoping that he had not missed anything important . He then gently started to dance swaying back and forth to the music. He slowly took her hand indicating to her that he wanted her to dance along with him. Normally pen would flirt with the female. However something told him not to do that with her just yet. Maybe latter when he got to understand her better.That was a very rare thing for pen to do. Maybe it was because he could somewhat realte with this female. he really could not tell for sure. For now he would just dance with her and think about he next moves carefully and quietly since he could not hear anyhow.

Tulia was relieved that Pension didn't press the issue of whatever conversation she missed. The music shifted songs to a very upbeat, catchy tune when Pension grabbed her hand as he started to dance. Finally, what she wanted all night.

Without any hesitation, Tulia broke into a fluid dance trying to keep her moves pretty consistent with her dancing partner. She allowed him to hold her hand throughout while throwing the other up in the air as she let loose.

Pen smiled as he danced slowly with the female at first. Then as the music picked up in beat he started to moved faster. However he was careful not to move too fast so that she could keep up with him. He pondered rather he should do more then just hold her had while they dance. However he figured that she probably take that as him flirting or something. And that would not be too far from the truth. It was just that he had decided that he was going to be taking things slow with this female. He had determined that she could be a good friend once he got to know her better. That is if she would let him know her better. He moved now to the beat smiling as he saw her dancing along with him. He was careful not to let his claws cut in to her hand as he held it. As he moved back and forth to the beat with her he could feel his shinny tail feathers brushing the floor. He gave her a dark sort of smile as he watched her dance dancing with her as he did so. He was also doing something else though. He was keeping an eye out for any security that might be heading their way. The last thing he wanted was to be caught off guard.
