Smiling to the return kiss, shi gently let go of Crimson and took the plate from hir. Least shi could do was carry something heavy after Crimson went through the trouble of making it.
"Let's eat in the dining while we have the chance."
This response, shi knew, would get some kind of gleeful reaction considering Krynn usually wanted to stay out of the public eye period. Right now, shi could not deny that hopeful look in the red dragoness' eyes.
Walking over to the doors, Krynn pushed it open and held it open with hir tailclaw as shi patiently waited for Crimson to follow. Shi wasn't going to lie, though thhe chicken was partially cooked, it still smelled good and was making hir mouth water like no other. It would be hard to keep it down, but because Crimson made it shi was going to try to make it stay down without getting sick.

Crimson grinned and followed after the hybrid, pausing at the door a moment to admire Krynn's tail, even gently brushing her fingers over it a little before focusing on getting through the door and into the dining area with her. If Krynn looked like she was having trouble with the food in a little while she'd find some way to help settle the hybrid's stomach. Whether it was antacids, something to drink, or a kiss, she'd figure out a way. After all if Krynn had to leave later she didn't want her to be running off somewhere and getting sick. "Every moment I get to spend with you is perfect no matter where it is. Hehe, but the dining area's fitting to have a little dinner together." A very late dinner, or early and large breakfast, but she didn't care about the time like that, she only cared how much she'd get to spend with Krynn.

Still smiling as shi held the door open, the creature purred ever-so slightly at the brush of Crimson's fingers. It felt nice, something different and almost calming. It would be a late dinner or early breakfast. A really early breakfast.
Shi just hoped that it wasn't going to hurt Crimson in being able to keep up with her business and kids come day break. Krynn knew it could be hard trying to juggle different things all at once, and on top of that with little sleep. It could make one a little dillusional.
Shi would probably end up leaving shortly after this meal. A few hours of sleep was better than nothing at all.
Looking around the dinning area, the beast went ahead and chose a spot up at the bar. At least if someone did happen to come by and look in they would not be able to see hir face and only a little bit of hir features. On top of that, they were sitting mostly in the dark so all was good for now.
"Is this alright or would you like somewhere else a little more comfortable?"

"This is fine for me. Long as I get to sit with you anything's good." The dragoness wasn't too worried about a lack of sleep tonight. When the kids were still hatchlings she'd spent many nights with no sleep. Besides Scarlet was a very responsible little girl, if she woke up and saw her mommy wasn't awake yet she'd probably go down and open up the restaurant to employees and start the ovens, come back up and see if she was ready to start her day or not. Only a few years old and the little sweetheart could practically run the restaurant on her own. Though her cooking wasn't on par with most of the chefs and especially her mom's food she was still a great help.

Tonight Crimson's attention was focused solely on Krynn, even if she had been completely exhausted the dragoness would have found enough energy to stay up and alert with her all night, not that she expected her friend to stay that long but she'd do anything for her.

"I'm glad you feel that way."
Shi replied with a hidden blush on hir cheeks as pulled out a stool for Crimson to sit on, waiting for the dragoness to sit before taking up hir own seat.
Being so close to the other made Krynn nervous. Last time shi had sat this close to hir was when shi was dying and trying to say how shi felt before leaving her. It certainly brought back some old memories, both welcomed and unwanted.
Pinning hir ears back, Krynn tried to think of something to say as shi looked around the restaurant only to find that words evaded hir and the restaurant's dining area only seemed to suddenly become a place that felt forboding.
"I don't know why, but I always get the goosebumps whenever I'm around you. It's a little frightening at times."
The hybrid quietly spoke. With this new body, Krynn's physical expression could be seen even better with little hair to hide it from the world.
Shi tried to word it the best way possible without making it sound like shi was feeling sick or it was a creepy feeling. Shi wanted it to be looked at as more of an uncomfortable yet nice feeling to have. Shi did manage to fail at speaking of how hard hir heart was pounding.

"I know that feeling Krynn. It's the feeling you get when you care about someone but you don't quite know how you want to express it. Or when there's something you don't quite feel ready to share with them. Sometimes it's just... like... like you need to sort things out in your mind first and you feel by the time you do it's a little late to say what you were thinking." Crimson smiled, blushing a little as she took the first bite of her food. It was good, not the best she could make but it was short notice with limited ingredients. Considering that factor it was about the best someone could ask for really. "So let's just take our time, so either we're both awkward and nervous or neither of us feels that way."
