"Heheh, well yes I suppose it did. Glad he learned his lesson after all. Sometimes with guys like that, it takes more of a demonstration than a suggestion and I'm glad that wasn't the case this time." Primarily because Crimson could do much worse to him if he made a mess in her restaurant, and because it really didn't go well for his public image to go around thrashing disrespectful louts in public. He was supposed to be the nice school teacher now, the fewer people knew what he was capable of in person the better. Leave it to the students to gossip all they wanted and spread a little local legend. "Of course, I bet Crimson probably could have handled the whole thing pretty well too."

[BG=81f7f3] Nox gave a musical laugh, leaning back in the chair and smiling wide, her small teeth shining in the dull light. Her eye had closed with the laughter before opening them again and looking at the snake. “I always try to handle it myself. Maybe that’s why Crimson likes me.” The feline gave a shrug. ”I’m not really sure. I don’t like bugging her too much with such petty stuff so I make sure I get the picture through. People think they can walk all over females. I give them a reason they can’t. “ She laughed again and leaned back on the table. ”You should eat. I’m going to go clean up some more.” She stood, leaving the snake to his meal. The otter came over to her and was nothing but smiles. “Nox, that guy wanted me to give you this.” She had a feeling it was the badger. She took the note and read it, smiling to herself. ”Cute, he left me his number.” She murmured. “You going to call him?” The otter inquired. Nox pocketed the note and gave a shrug. ”Maybe. I’ll think on it. I’m turning in early for the day.” She called out a goodbye to the kitchen and went and grabbed a few things, bringing her phone with her as she went back to the table where Athos was. She gave a smile. ”I’m off the clock now.” She said with a smile, taking her apron and her money out, putting it in her pants pocket and folding it up, shoving it in her school backpack. Afterwards she took her seat again and smiled at the snake.

Athos smiled as she sat down. Now he'd really get a chance to figure her out, and, was that a hint of an attraction in her eyes? Just the slightest sparkle of one perhaps? Maybe, or maybe she just liked his direct approach to handling things. Well whatever it might be there wasn't much point in guessing right now, especially when he could probably find out in a few minutes of talking to her. He did however take a moment to eat some of his food so it wouldn't go to waste or get cold. "Good to know. So what do you usually do when you're not working? I'm guessing it's not exactly every day you decide to sit down with one of the last customers you served and chat with them?"

Nox gave another laugh, smiling at the snake. No not really. On my off time I kinda just hang out, go around with my friends. I like to write in my journal, play some. I'm trying to learn the guitar. I've been wanting to try and go for some sports but I don't know what to go for." She gave a shrug until her phone vibrated, taking a glance and seeing her mother's message. She giggled and responded back quickly. Putting the phone back down she sighed. "I'm just hoping to kinda better myself too. To help my mom out." She said softly.

"That's a good goal to have. Now as for sports, I hear there's been an increased interest in a little fencing club that's formed. I think the headmaster is supporting it but he hasn't officially registered it as a club or sport yet. Still might be worth looking into, get some practice at it before lots of others come in and you lose a chance to get good one on one teaching. Oddly I was never really one for sports myself, more of a thinking person I suppose. I never cared to be the small snake on a football field of bears dragons and elephants or the short guy running around a soccer field chasing a kangaroo that's got a very obvious advantage. I preferred playing a game of chess, or cards, or chinese checkers. Guess playing checkers isn't exactly going to help anyone out though." Shame too, even when there were tournaments they were mostly international ones or things where you risked spending a whole bunch to compete and then gaining back nothing from it all.

Fencing? Nox almost perked. Scratch that, she did perk. Her tail went up and her ears went forward. Even her eyes dialted some. The thought of attacking your opponent with a sword, well that sent chills down her very being. She was almost giddy at it. She chuckled at his analogies on the football and soccer. "Well having the mental capacity to do those sports can be used later on down the line in important jobs like poltics and even war strageties." She piped in, her eyes going elsewhere as she pondered a few things. Joining the military had been a choice at first after her graduation but she had decided against it when she figured that doing what people say didn't quiet go in well with what she liked to do. "So what are your plans for the rest of the day?" She asked curiously.

"I've got nothing planned really. Kinda came here to figure out what I wanted to do. Well, that and get some good food, always helps me think. Besides I do get to meet all kinds of interesting people here from fellow customers to pretty waitresses like you, and sometimes the owner when she's not busy and wants to try and pry some gossip out of me." Aha, so she liked the idea of fencing. Well that would definitely earn her a few extra brownie points with Crimson, a former world champion. Come to think of it he might like to try and get his hands on a few old tapes of her matches to see what her style was and eventually challenge her. He'd mastered so many other forms of... well... usually what he had mastered was a bit more lethal but it would be fun to give it a shot.

Gossip. Nox couldn’t help but seem unappeased by it. Gossip lead to rumors which were often or not lies. Lies would and could lead to bullying. Bullying had several different levels that the feline didn’t want to even think about. Forcing the thoughts to cease, she went back and smiled at him. “Well, I was going to try and catch a movie tonight if you’re interested. Just to see what they have.” She gave a large smile. She liked watching movies, even if she had no idea what they were about. She would talk to some of her friends and their times overseas and seeing big movies in other countries. The only downside was the subtitles, but at least they were spoken in English.

The otter had come over suddenly and whispered in her ear. She looked at him and raised a brow. “No way.” She giggled.
“Way” He said. “I’m going over tonight.” She gave a smile and punched his shoulder gently.
“Be safe.” He only laughed and walked off with a wave. Nox looked back over at the snake. “He got a date. I’m so proud. Poor guy was so shy when I started here.” She giggled.

Athos smiled, listening to her and then the little exchange between his waitress and the other employee. "Oh? Well he's not the only one I suppose. I'd be honored to join you in a trip to the movies. You want to try the drive in theater or the one at the school, or there's supposed to be a small one in town somewhere." Actually he knew exactly where it was, and he knew where the "adults only" theater was too. Athos just didn't want to act too pompous or anything. He made it his business to know where these places were, everything in town from the smallest grocery store to the police station to the biggest... and only... mall. Just coming right out and saying something like that sometimes gave a bad impression. People tended to look at it and say you've been stuck in a place too long no matter how good the town might be.

“A drive in!!!” Nox was all giddy that she actually bounded up and out of her seat and plopped herself right next to Anthos. “I’ve never been to a drive in! I always wanted to go. Lets go there! Oh wait can we go tonight? I’ll cancel all my plans!” Nox had always dreamed of going to a drive in. She heard it from some of her friends that went that there was a large amount of food and items, and even a building with video games so you could play before the movie started. The thought was so exciting to the female as she grinned happily. She began to fumble with her phone, texting her friends to tell them she was going to be out tonight again and to not bug her, emphasizing the ‘bug’ in the sentence.

Athos was grinning too. For once he'd have a good reason to be at the drive through, but... oh... he'd probably have to borrow someone's car... his bike probably wasn't the best thing for trying to watch a movie comfortably on for two hours. "Sure thing, tonight's great. So should I pick you up in town somewhere or at the school or where? And how early should we be?" Oh there were plenty of things to do at a good drive in movie theater but there were also a few things you wouldn't want to forget. Like if you knew they wouldn't have snacks you'd like, bring your own and just stash it in a compartment until you were at your spot. Now which car should he abscond with? Drake's? Rook's? Blake's? that one fox professor's? Hmm... Drake wouldn't even notice his car was missing, when was the last time he drove it even? "Hey, what's your favorite kind of car?"
