Verdy was enjoying the walk together and the closeness, laughing at her comment. "Why yes it would, especially when the handsome young gentleman is volunteering to pay so readily." They were getting closer to town, and now she had her arm around his waist. Was this all some really elaborate dream or was he just having a really great day? No, it'd be a great day if they got to the movies and whatever they picked was empty aside from them. Wait... why was he thinking that? She wasn't complaining about anything as they were heading to the movies, was being cheerful and energetic... lots of reasons to like her but to Like her? Ok... she's pretty too... he'd admit that.

It seemed that very soon they were in the town but maybe that was just because she was having fun. Time flew quickly when you were having fun, right? Well, it always had seemed to for her atleast. She knew it didn't for everyone.
Along the way she'd flirted some more, been a little spontaneous and such, and he'd responded in his own way.
"So how close are we now? I don't think I've been to the place you spoke of yet, though I do know my way around this place fairly well otherwise."
"I've gotta keep my work schedule in mind too...it's what, only two hours away that I need to get there? Man..."
Rebecca took out her phone and checked the time. She'd been just about right.
"We'll just hope this works out smoothly is all. I'm sure it will."
At that, she smiled to herself, then looked up to Verdy with the smile still on her face, squeezing his side a little.

"Just a little further, no more than five minutes. And that's if you're going really slow." Verdy led the way and gave her a little hug in return for the squeeze, smiling. There it was, the theater, a smaller one compared to those huge multiplex cinemas but it still played great movies. "Let's go and see what's playing shall we?" It didn't really matter to him, he'd be happy to pay for the movie, watch it with her, enjoy a snack possibly, and some more time together. He wondered how it was she didn't have anything else to do right now, but it worked out well for him. "Looks like one's starting in a couple minutes, wanna go catch it? Don't know if we can hang around waiting for the next show." (movie can be any random movie you want really)
