Now hat they were released, and not being distracted by the ever growing 'fondness' of those coils, she cleared her mind of those thoughts that Athan brought and actually listened to their conversation. A student having trouble on the dirt roads? Rynn knew it was not Dracul anymore, knew that he had become domesticated again and living elsewhere...
Shrugging, Rynn continued to listen, half listening that was.
Then again, when Blake spoke of tomorrow being a relaxing day tomorrow it was meant of being tackled and clung to by his children. Whether or not he knew the truth of why she really left, she still felt it her responsibility to take care of them no matter what.
"Blake, you don't have to worry about the kids, or me running off again. I'm sure they'll be glued to me for the next month or so until they know for certain I wouldn't leave again. Trust me, I won't be leaving again for a long time. I think a year is long enough.."
She hoped her point would get through to him, sometimes it didn't but just in case.
"Think of it as improving the safety for your kids as well when they get old enough."
Rynn could understand Blake better than he thought, and that was not having to read his mind. The hybrid knew he was happy to have her back, he just wanted to hold it in and hide most of it. Which was fine, but Rynn knew just as well as anyone else that the safety of the school and the occupants inside came first. In this case he was just lucky to have Rynn to help him willingly with some things.

"Heh, that sounds about right. I know you won't be running off again, least not for a good long while. Guess I should keep an eye out on the woods and the dirt road, maybe put up some alarm boxes or something along the path. Or see if Drake's going to pay for a shuttle bus or something and prevent students from walking it for a while. That should be a decent start for helping things." As it seemed every time they took care of or lost one threat another came wandering along. Or if the threat faded for a while it'd come back even stronger.

"Well if you need any help big guy just give me a shout, or Athos. Same goes for you Rynn, any time you need anything I'm around."

As it seemed, everyone's mind was preoccupied with this knew task at hand, which was good. Right now she needed a distraction for herself and it was working, but could not help letting her mind sneak back towards the naga.
"I'll have to remember that."
She said softly, quietly watching him. Tail flickering back and forth, she looked between the both of them and was feeling the need to take a deep sigh. Blake, at first, seemed to have caught on, but if he did he didn't say anything. If he didn't, all the more reason to relax and carry on.

Blake generally wasn't one to go around getting into other people's business or love lives. After all his was quite complicated and not at all what he had originally hoped for. He had ideas about what might be going on around him but he wasn't about to call any extra attention to it. "Alrighty then, heh. Been trying to get back to the school for what, the past hour? Hope the kids are still asleep and nobody gives us any trouble. Hey... how did you get out here? Thought the gates were locked up?"

"Heheh, silly dragon. Athos is family remember, it's easy for me to get the keys to the garden door when I need it. Just be sure to lock it up again after we go in."

Well, if it was at all possible to be a little bewildered and bemused at the same time, Rynn had that look now.
Bewildered because everyone seemed to have new tricks up their sleeves... eh, so to speak, and she was off her game. Wow she had been gone for quite some time if she couldn't keep track of things.
And bemused because, well, just because she could feel the need to laugh but only smirked and shook her head.
"Well... eh.. shall we head in then? We need to get a little shut eye before 'they' wake up early.. Not that it'll last once they realize I'm back heh."
Rynn felt that she should talk to the naga in private about things, but now was not the time, nor the place. At least that is what she kept telling herself.
Sure she was a procrastinator at heart, but this hybrid had abandonned that habit for the most part when it came to the kids. They kept her going even if she didn't want to get moving.

Blake laughed. "Crafty snakes, almost as bad as us dragons. Alright, well, I think I'll fly ahead so if the little ones are up they'll mug me first instead of just you Rynn. Athan, just remember to lock it up and get the key back to Athos, okay?"

Blake took off into the air and left them alone, when Athan was sure he was out of sight he gave Rynn a big hug. "Missed you, was about to come out looking for you and ran into you. Didn't want to seem so clingy in front of your friend."

Rynn was about to protest as Blake took off and was about to start walking again when she was pulled into the big hug. At first she resisted then just melted as he pulled her close, dropping her pack in the process which was fine. Without even thinking twice about it, the hybrid found her own arms around his neck as if this wasn't the first time they've done so.
In all honesty, she felt herself blushing again as he spoke.
"Missed you too. Blake found me at the waterfall and ended up talking me into coming back a little sooner than I wanted to."
She smiled shyly.
"Don't worry about Blake, he just thinks of me as the babysitter for his kids, probably almost always why you saw me out with them heh."
Gathering her legs back under her, and in a more comfortable position, Rynn couldn't help but stare into his eyes.

"Oh so that's it huh? Heh, well those toddlers are definitely cute, and if anyone could handle them it'd definitely be you. I'm always glad to see you Rynn, you're more hypnotic than I am, hehe. Now... I guess we do have to head in, but nothing says we have to hurry right?" Athan placed a kiss firmly on her lips, glad the dragon was out of sight so she wouldn't be as embarrassed. If their closeness was going to go anywhere, and he hoped it would, then it was all on her terms and when she was comfortable with it. But seriously, dealing with those kids had to be pretty stressful unless she liked them...

"I don't know about that, yours always know how to catch my breath in my throat."
It couldn't be helped, and now she was actually trying to flirt instead of acting more aloof. Then again, when you had nearly two weeks to think about things, the mind tends to wander off to the 'what ifs' department.
And before she could say anything further, he planted the kiss. Oh that made her legs feel like jello. She had never let anyone close enough to have this effect on her, this was absolutely making her feel like she was on cloud nine, or whatever that floating happy place was. Yes she liked the kids, wouldn't mind eventually having one, but with as many as there were already it sometimes ended up a bit stressful indeed.
With the worries in the world, everything disappeared as her heart pounded as they kissed, flutterbies in her stomach, nothing else mattered in this moment. He was right, no one would miss them right this minute or even in thirty or so...

Athan slowly deepened the kiss and wrapped a coil lovingly around her. All the students were inside those walls, except maybe Verdy. All the teachers were asleep by now getting ready and rested for tomorrow, and Athos' little security camera was pointed in the wrong direction to catch them. Nobody was around to interrupt, and he loved it. Rynn was worth every last bit of effort to find even a few minutes of quiet time with, time to just enjoy each other's company. Every time he got to touch her it felt right, perfect, thrilling. His heart sometimes skipped a beat and if he had rattlesnake in his blood he'd be giving off a nonstop concert right now. Yes... they could be alone out here for a while, maybe even an hour.

Was this what she had always missed out on when she rejected others in their proposals? Did it always feel like this or was it just like this with just the one?
Rynn didn't know, she had always pushed everyone away before they had a chance to even start getting close.
Sure this creature had a phobia towards snakes, but this was one way of getting over that fear. Letting her body rest against his completely now, she legs were completely like pudding. The coil he wrapped around was more than welcomed, kneading her claws lightly on the back of Athan's neck as he deepened the kiss. For something she had always thought so badly of, it felt so right. Maybe she really would give this, give Athan a chance to break that icy shield she had always kept up.

Feeling just how much she was relaxing, and the kneading on his neck that actually was almost like a massage to him, the naga looped another coil around her carefully. She was like the greatest treasure he could ever find, sometimes so stern and imprenetrable and other times so delicate. If they weren't so close to the school he might be tempted to try and slither under clothing and... no, not right here at the gate even if everyone else was asleep or busy. But that wasn't going to stop him from kissing her, holding her, loving her.

She could feel the want in his body, feel the electricity flying between the two of them as they stood there in each other's arms.
Athan... I accept..
She whispered into his mind, hoping he could understand. Rynn had been around here long enough to know very few could actually be affected by telepaths, Crimson was one and two others in town. Could Athan hear her as well?
Stealing a moment, the hybrid's tongue brushed against Athan's lips, perhaps a little rough, almost hungry. Sure it would have been exhilarating to undress out here, but it just wouldn't be right. Perhaps in the garden, there were only two windows, two cameras, and many wide blindspots. But what was she thinking? Things like that should be done out in the woods when they were alone or in a room of their own.
As Athan encouraged more coils around her, Rynn's tail somehow found its way to wrap around his coils.

As he was kissing her, holding her in his arms, he heard her sweet voice... but... how when they were kissing? Wait... ohhhh, Athan knew she was special but he didn't know she was that special. What a lovely surprise. Now, she "said" she accepted. As he felt her tongue against his lips he gladly parted them for her, wondering what exactly she accepted and if she might be able to hear thoughts as well as send them. Feeling her tail around his coils, he really was wanting to do more than kiss now. It was hard to think straight when his mind was being clouded with love, lust, and a vague sense of a ticking clock. Still he managed to try to think strongly about her clarifying what she meant, and if she meant... time together... now... where they should go.

Now when she meant she accepted, she merely meant that she would accept his proposal in letting him into her life. But the reaction from his mind was fairly interesting as there was a sudden wave of heat from him that was near startling.
As long as I'm with you, time doesn't matter..
Hopefully that would clear things up a little bit better. It always seemed like Rynn couldn't comminicate that well sometimes, but right now even her own judgement was beginning to cloud as well. Sending vague ideas to hi mind, she tried not to make it as obvious that it was her.
With hands moving from around his neck to his upper chest slowly, her tongue teasingly explored the inside of his mouth, flicking at his own tongue playfully.
