He smiled to the female now. He was starting to think that she was actualy a good creature. She seemed like she may have been just a little bit misunderstood. He had seen some females who played a lot of different sports. He was not big on playing them himself. He did not really like physical contact at all or risking hurting someone while playing sports. He knew that he was not the best looking guy around. In fact he could be what one could call chubby. He was not fat though. At least not in his mind. He whent to the point of not eating after a creatian time so that he did not gain a lot of weight. On that fact he was not very muscular either. “ heh no I am not really in to playing sports myself. However I do like watching other play them though.” he said with a smile. He did not care that she was not a super fermium girl .

"Aw, why not? Swimming and running are very good for you..."
The last part was mostly to herself, though certainly still audible.
"I actually wasn't very into sports myself for a while. Basketball and soccer are very different, though...I can't really tell you how I got into both of them cuz I don't know."
The female rat laughed, shaking her head.
Rebecca played with her earring for a moment, staying silent until they were at the lake. It only took another minute anyway.
Then she pointed to the oak, looking around at the same time. "There's the tree I talked about. I did say something about it right? Well, I don't see any kids around it. Probably took too long to get here for people to still be hanging around. Doesn't matter to me anyway, really."
She laughed silently at herself. She really was forgetful sometimes. Couldn't believe she'd actually forgotten if she'd mentioned the oak, though.

The male rat gave a slight sigh when she asked him why he did not play sports. He got asked this question alot and his anwser was always the same“ well to tell you the truth I gusse you could say that I am plainly too lazey to do anything other then read or make modles.” he listen now as she spoke. He could see that others could learn to get in to sports. In fact truth be told he would probly if he was to ever take the time to try them. He smiled alittle when she laughed and shook her head.

Wow she seemed like that she could be a real good friend for him here. He had to look at her a little strangly when she told him about the oak tree. Well it would be a good place to sit anyhow.” well if you did I forgot about it myself heh. It is a pretty nice place to sit though. Yeah I am not all that great around large crowds myself anyhow.” he said. He knew that he was not all that intreasting to most. In fact he did have to wonder why the female would want to hang around him in the first place. Maby he was just that kind. Or perhaps it was she who was being kind to him.

(Wait...read or make what? Models? What do you mean by that? Sorry for no reply but it might hinge on what you said there)

"Too lazy?" She glanced sharply at him. "Reading is good, though. Making models sounds hands-on...which is good as well. Atleast he doesn't sit on his ass all day."
So he wasn't particularly social either. Her mind wandered to his body, judging and searching, as always, and she shook it off.
"I like to climb it myself," she told him, smiling. "Are you any good at climbing?"
They were now only a few feet away from the tree, and she trotted up to it, looking around up in the branches.
Then she grabbed onto the lowest branch swung herself up, sitting astride the large branch as she looked down at the other rat.

The male rat cringed softly as the feamale gave him a sharp look. He could not help it if he was not the most active creature in the world. He never wanted to go out and meet other for the simple fact that all they ever wanted to do was make fun of him.” well yeah .” he said softly to her question about being lazey. He looked at the tall tree before then as she asked if he was good at climbing. The fact was that he was good at a lot of things he just did not go out and do them was all. “yes I am. I am going to put my hat down first.” he said as he watched her go up to the tree now. He then caught up to her as she swung herself up the branch. He then jumped so that he could catch himself on the branch. Once he did that he used his taill to help him keep his balance as he fliped up beside the female now. He then gave her a smile and said “so do you want to higher now?”

Rebecca glanced at him again. "Well yeah what?" she thought, a little confused.
The rat found herself grinning though, when he said he was, and got up beside her. He wasn't bad. She guessed he might not have endurance though, since he wasn't active. But she could be wrong there.
Well, they'd have to see, eh?
Without saying anything, she just smirked at him and started climbing higher, pulling and pushing herself up as soon as she got a grip on each branch.
Halfway up, branches started getting thinner, so she chose a larger branch to rest on for a moment, watching the male. She'd wait a minute before continuing on. The female rat always found it a little difficult to transition from that fast-paced, on edge mode to something more careful and slow. The second would be needed for those less trustworthy branches though.

Ganderfoot gave a slight smile again to the female now. He may not be active but he was not a push over either. His parents hadftried to force him to be a slave because of the fact that he did not want to go to army like his brother. He did not see a point in fighting unless you had no other option. He saw her going up the tree now. He grabbed the brances and brought himself up each of them in the same fashion as he had at first.. He saw her stop half way up the tree now. Well he was catching up to her. He did not really care if she thought that he was slow. He just was not about to get in a rush for anybody. He stopped now beside her on the branch.” ready to go higher ?” he asked with a smile on his face. This was actual starting to be fun now.

She watched him make his way up to her, thoughts racing through her head like the adrenaline through her blood.
"I have to wonder how long it will take for him to start to want me. Well, I'm experienced at playing hard to get...he's gotta work for my affection. Katrina never wanted to work for it..."
Rebecca shook her head, then blinked as he pulled up beside her on the branch.
"Just mind that the branches are getting thinner. Be careful where you place your paws..."
"...wouldn't want to be responsible for any injuries to you, now would I?"
With that she grabbed the branch above her head, swinging off to place her feet and claw her way up. As she climbed, all she could think of was how similar climbing trees ahead of an interest was to playing hard-to-get.

He smiled as he looked at the female rat. He was actually starting to think that she did look good. He had never tried to flirt with anyone before. In fact he never even though of that kind of thing. The female was real good looking though. He gave a smile as he forced that kind of thought from his mind. He gave a smile to the female now as she told him that the branches were going to be getting thinner as they climbed high. Humm that could be a problem. “Okay I will keep that in mind” he said with a smile. He watched her as she climbed up the branches now. Man she just kept looking better. He then shook his head so that those thought would be cleared from it as he climbed after the female.

(ugh sorry it's taken so long, old friend is visiting so been busy with him)

Rebecca continued climbing, slowing down and picking and weighing herself more and more as she got further up the tree. Soon the branches were no longer holding her weight so she looked around for a nook somewhere to sit in.
After a few moments, she spotted it about a a paw and leg down. Pushing herself down to that level, she settled into it, getting comfortable - then turned to watch Ganderfoot again.
Close behind, but she wasn't sure how much farther he'd be able to get up here, since he probably weighed more.
It didn't really matter though. She just wanted to sit up here, enjoy the view, the gentle breeze...just for a little while. She still had two hours before work started - if she had so desired, the rat could have taken a nap.

The male watched the female as she climbed ahead of him. The more he watched the more he found her to be attractive. He gave a slight smile to himself as he followed her. When he was just a couple branches below he stopped. He did not want the branches to brake with him after all. He still could not help just staring at her. He felt breeze now as it made its way threw the trees. He was tiring to figure out what he wanted to say to her now. Unlike the female he did not have a job yet. He was a rich kid even if her parents found him totally useless.” so now what?” he asked. The question was more to himself then the female above him.

Gazing out of the branches onto the lake and some green grass she could see off to the side of it, she barely heard the other rat. She did, though, and thought about it for a second before replying.
"I'm just going to sit here for a few minutes, if that's okay with you. I don't know about after that, maybe we could go to Foxford, cuz I'm going to get hungry later. Which means I should eat before I go to my job..."
Rebecca let herself trail off, happy to just leave things open-ended, and answer his questions if he got confused. Just being up here made her so much happier. Resting in a forest clearing, by a lake or pond, in a tree's arms...anything like that...they were the only places she felt safe, that she could relax.
The female was thoughtful about the fact that someone else was indeed here, in this kind of haven that she could call home, and yet nothing pulled at her uncomfortably. Ganderfoot didn't intrude; his presence was a calm one. If he did talk, it didn't matter because it wasn't grating.
She sighed and laid back, relaxing even more, letting her mind drift while she kept that one part of her brain alert for any sounds outside of leaves rustling and birds calling in the open skies above them.

Ganderfoot thought about what the female said. He certainly did not mind sitting in tis tree now that he was up here. It did give him a good view as well. He kind of enyed those who had wings. He looked at the female now wondering if she had the same thoughts” That is good to me. You know what being up here make me wanna be able to fly in the sky like them birds there.” he said with a smile. He then gave it some thought be fore adding his next question in. his next state ment.” you know what I think that me and you could be real good friends. I mean I think you are a very nice person myself.” he said. He was not sure how she would react to what he said. He just hopped that she would not take it the wrong way.
