"me? afraid of a little ghost? ... get out of here." he said sarcastically, "Lets hurry up so we can see the video if he had it on camera, then it would be recorded on a disc or something." Kilik was really excited, not only did he avoid his detention, but he could finally get the answer to rumors. "but, please tell me one of the stories right now, if you hands aren't tied" he said as he through on his bag.

"Well let's see... best story I can tell you is this one. See that big light over there? The one that can light up pretty much the whole stage? Well, one time late at night after a big performance the janitor was cleaning things up. Now this was years ago mind you, but my brother can verify this one. That light must weigh a couple hundred pounds and there was a sort of snapping sound. Janitor looked all around and he didn't see anything, it's not part of the normal house lights so he couldn't see too well up there anyway. Then there was another snapping sound a little later, and he just kept cleaning. Then another snap, this time he heard something creaking around up there and as he looked up the light dropped about two feet... right over him. He ran fast as he could outta there and told the headmaster about it, they came back about twenty minutes after it had that partial drop. Drake got the ladder, climbed on up, and the lines keeping it held up were all frayed. Down to just a tiny little strand less than half an inch thick. No way in hell it should have still been supported. Drake just tapped that thing with his claw, barely touched it, and it came crashing down. Something stopped it from falling on the janitor but it sure as hell wasn't that wire alone."

Of course there were a few dozen stories, some more disturbing than others in how "good" the spirit was. One fella was extremely "lucky" that the ghost appeared when he was about to start making out with someone and freaked him out. He learned a few days later that the person he was going to be kissing and making out with had a specific disease that would have been life changing... possibly ending for him if anything happened. Another student was saved from a knife fight because the lights all went out and the student felt something pulling him in the right direction to safety, depending on who told that story the attacker was lured by a false glowing aura and tripped, stabbing himself in the chest.

The excitement rushed into his head, Kilik wouldn't have thought that the school had held so many ghost stories. "So the school is sorta haunted in a good way, right?" He said as he started patching he started up a ladder leading on to a rail towards the light. as he pulled started to unscrew the light bulb before he starts to rattle it. "this is pretty much a good light bulb. you might just have to change the outlet." he said he started to pick through the wire. "you I'm not a technician, but. there's a of open wire in here too." he climbed down to the stage handed the tools to Blake."and because I don't know how to to repair a light. that all you buddy."

Blake smiled. "We hope it's haunted in a good way at least, better than being haunted in a bad way." Though there was one person around that some would say was "haunting" the school even though she was very real. Sneaking through the shadows though, that person could be scarier than any ghost. "Heh, alright then. You hold the ladder, make sure it stays put while I go up and deal with it. This is really the point I wish there were such things as electic dragons or something, I can breathe fire but a really high voltage still hurts me like it would anyone else. Meh, probably nothing up there that can really hurt." Blake took the tools and started his climb up to the malfunctioning light, spreading his wings a little to help him keep his balance.

"heh I think that it would be useful if you could... but you would probably be better off without it" he replied as he pressed his hands on the ladder holding it steady. "I still want to see the video..." he said anxiously shaking his tail. The ladder start to shake the further drake moved up. "try to keep yourself balanced, the last thing I wont is for you to crush me if you fall..." he said sarcastically looking up towards Blake.
"It's funny, how all my other teachers and staff at my old school were so boring and annoying, compared to this school... so I guess it's sorta cool having the being here... even though some students and teachers have their moments" he started to chuckle a bit

"Don't worry we'll get to it. Gotta finish up here first then I'll show you the video. Heh, and if I fell I'd do my best to try and fly before landing on you. But if you're so tough a big dragon falling on you shouldn't be a problem, heheh." A friendly jab he hoped, but a serious one. "We try to be the best here, and we've got a good budget to work with. Can't say anything for the other students around here but it's usually a good group. If anyone got too annoying I'd probably be one of the first to start dragging them outta here, heh." Drake always wanted his teachers to be a cut above the rest, if they didn't meet his requirements for a while he'd cut them and look for someone better.

"wait a sec... why you need to use a ladder if you can fly?" he said sarcastically still holding on the ladder. "hurry up, up there," he said as he tail started wagging. "I wanna see scary videos..." he said impatiently.

"Heh, because flying isn't the same as hovering. It's really hard to stay in one place the whole time, takes a lot of effort, and even if you can there's a lot of disturbance around you. There, that should do it. Alright alright, heh, let's go see that tape." Blake jumped down and hit the ground near Kilik with a thud, smiling. Jumping down didn't hurt too much, falling would though. "Okay, Athos has the tapes, but I know where they are. Just gotta figure out where he stashed those specific ones is all."

"oh wait... can you sign this so I can skip my next class to see the video." he held out a small pass that he took from another class. His eyes soon got big as he looked at you with a small whimper. although he kilik didn't look like the type to have the ability to beg, he still could manage to pull off a innocent face. It didn't look like much considering how big he was but it wouldn't take long for him to get his way after he does it for a moment.

Blake looked at the pass and laughed. "Heh, alright, I'll sign it but you're only getting to skip out on however long the video is. If it's over and you've still got half a period left you're going back to class. Can't be letting you skip out for nothing, fair?" Probably more than fair but he liked Kilik and he could understand the need to bail on a class or two when you've had a rough day, or a day where you just didn't want to focus on much of anything.

"No problem... it's fair" He said anxiously. "he must be joking if he thinks i'm going back to that class. he thought to himself, taking the pass from Blake. before his conscious started to catch onto his lie. "so, where do we go from here, you have any idea on where Athos would have put them?"

"Of course I've got a good idea where he stashes things away. It's probably in his supposedly hidden security room, but he's also got a storage setup somewhere. Crafty snake he is, took me months to find the security office he set up. Which... is actually incredibly impressive because he's not nearly as strong as me and he pulled off something in a few hours that should have taken a week for him." Blake led the way toward what could be considered the "heart" of the school. Central hallways leading to all the other areas, all around the ball room and other older assembly rooms. The black dragon stopped suddenly, tapping on a segment of the wall three times and kicking a stone near the base. A moment later the wall started breaking apart, sliding open and revealing the hidden security office. "Pretty sure he's got another office like this somewhere, this is just the one I found. Okay, come on in. Video's probably on file somewhere, he's pretty thorough with how he keeps these tapes organized." and thankfully most of them on computer.
